Totally agree. People compares him a lot with Shanks and righfully so but he definitely has more finess than Shanks in his combo even though he not as powerful in terms of damage but you can be a bit more creative with him than with Shanks.
I like both, however i think im better at using Rayleigh. His combos are more intuitive to me and im able to use Rayleigh at a higher potential than Garp. Rayleigh also gave me my highest hit streak at 29,000+ before it ended which is far higher than any other character i have used.
I absolutely agree, his crowd control is outstanding.
Its kinda funny because Roger is really good at taking down boss type enemies quickly and has more attacks oriented for high damage against the target you're aiming for, whereas Rayleigh does better as mass groups of more fodder based enemies.
Which means these 2 compliment each other very well when used, which is funny because they were literally Captain and First mate. Which makes me feel like they did that on purpose lol.

Nothing better than punching people in the face when his Haki is on. His Galaxy Impact do hella damage too.

I especially agree with the creativity factor, I'd been pretty much glued to Onigashima Luffy for that reason until I tried Rayleigh out.

He's very good for crowd control. The missions there's a lot of enemies like Truly Freer Than Everyone is where he shines the most.

Garp. Once he has Haki, he's ridiculous. I like Roger, but Garp is my favorite.
