This fan base doesnāt have a meltdown because we have to punt in the 2nd quarter of the opening game and call for Day to be fired as we cruise to a 49 pt win
First time since 2015 I feel like we are THAT TEAM going into the year. I'm really excited to see what the offense looks like with Chip Kelly, a dual threat QB, and not one but two elite RBs. Seeing how we play on the road at Oregon in October will be a great chance to understand how dialed in Ryan Day has these guys.
Big Ten champion, beat UM and make to the Natty. Even if we donāt win, we should be getting to the final game. If we donāt beat U of M, Iāll be willing to admit Ryan Day isnāt up to the job any more. Iāve been a huge defender for him, but this is the hot seat year
If we go 11-1 with a loss to Michigan, that's still a Big Ten Title game and a playoff berth. Bottom line : unless we miss the playoffs, Day isn't going anywhere.
Win our rivalry game, win the B1G, make it to the final 4 of the playoff/title game. If we make it there and lose a close game, I wonāt be too upset.
We are at least right there at the very end of the season
Desperately want to win it all, but I understand thatās extremely hard to do
But we have to at least be genuinely good enough to be a championship team this year. Similar to how 2022 ended imo
11-1 regular season is cool, but the 1 better not be from TTUN.
Weāve gotta make a final four playoff run, and honestly win it. Too much talent on both sides, if weāre healthy thereās no reason we shouldnāt be champs.
My hope is that itās a title year, historically the Buckeye teams expected to win it all havenāt because theyāve tripped up somewhere but with the 12 team era leaving a margin for error I like our chances.
Realistically we split with Oregon, beat the cheaters back to where they belong, and at least make the semifinal. Anything less is a disappointment.
This is the first time in my entire life that this is truly a national title or bust season. Anything less and Ryan Day probably wonāt be here next season.
Really? Onboard for firing Ryan Day if we donāt win a national title?
Have then the coaching staff move on to other locations and top talent transfer out? Why would you want that? Day has built an incredible program with most probably the best incoming class weāve ever had or could have expected. It is a culture of excellence and values. He is building a program to give us chances to win national titles, it is not a given that we do.
I know Burke likes to say it is Natty for bust but Iām sure for him that doesnāt mean Day gets the axe. The reason that we have this chance with these returning players is because of Day work at culture building, not in spite of him.
I know Iām overreacting to your statement but when I hear people say Day will/should be gone if we donāt win a titleā¦.the idiocy of these statements astounds me.
Just gotta beat ttun...even if we face them twice or thrice
š„
Thrice in one season would be killer AF!
I get drunk every Saturday.
Low expectations. Like that too.Ā
Beat the enemy, win the conference, win a playoff game.
Let it be done.Ā
This is the answer. Don't have to win a title. Have to beat UM. Win b1g. And a playoff game or two would be icing.
Obviously undefeated and Natty is the hopeful answer. But If notā¦ Beat Michigan and at least get to Final four in playoff
š„š„š„š„
Beat ttun, win the big ten, make the title game.
*win the title game.
SCRIBE!!!
Yes yes yesĀ
Title.
Itās the same every year right, lol?
Yeah. Last year was the first year in a long time where I didnāt go into the season expecting a natty.Ā
This should be the only correct response after all our moves since losing to Michigan and getting punched in the mouth by Mizzou.
Big dreams. I like it.Ā
This fan base doesnāt have a meltdown because we have to punt in the 2nd quarter of the opening game and call for Day to be fired as we cruise to a 49 pt win
This.Ā And it had to be said.Ā
Lol good luck
We beat Michigan, win the B1G championship, and make it to the National Championship game. Then it will be to win that too.
Best Michigan in the nattyĀ
Fuck that. Give me 7-5 UM all DAYYY
Iāll take 3-9

Beat Michigan by a large margin, win the B1G championship, win at least one playoff game
Natty
Delulu optimism and Iāll take it.Ā
Nah.
Big Ten champion, beat UM and make to the Natty. Even if we donāt win, we should be getting to the final game. If we donāt beat U of M, Iāll be willing to admit Ryan Day isnāt up to the job any more. Iāve been a huge defender for him, but this is the hot seat year

Donāt even mention the possibility of losing to bitchiganĀ
Win our rivalry game, win the B1G, make it to the final 4 of the playoff/title game. If we make it there and lose a close game, I wonāt be too upset.
We beat that one team
All the teamsĀ
Beat Michigan, everything else is gravy.
Beat ttun. Everything else is secondary

EA sports ratings are true.
We are at least right there at the very end of the season Desperately want to win it all, but I understand thatās extremely hard to do But we have to at least be genuinely good enough to be a championship team this year. Similar to how 2022 ended imo
Beat scUM, have 2 1,000 yard backs, win 2 playoff games
TTUN is beaten so soundly they fire their entire staff and subsequently petition to join the MAC.
I like the cut of your jib
We go undefeated and win the natty
All Iām saying is Iām all in.Ā
Everyone has fun
Millennial.Ā
I will settle for beating the cheaters
I want that and a natty
everyone just haves fun :)
Beat Michigan then win 1 playoff game.
the offense is creative
Beating that team up north is all I care about, everything else is gravy
āYour 2024-25 National Champions, THE Ohio State Buckeyes!!!ā
Beat UM. Thatās it.
11-1 regular season is cool, but the 1 better not be from TTUN. Weāve gotta make a final four playoff run, and honestly win it. Too much talent on both sides, if weāre healthy thereās no reason we shouldnāt be champs.
Buckeyes beat Michigan, win the B1G, and have a bye week in the CFP.
Beat the team up north, win the B1G, and win the Natty
Beat TTUN, win the B1G title, and at least make the CFP semi final game
Natty or bust
Make national semis n win conference
Syracuse wins a national championship with Kyle McCord. Uhhhā¦ this is under joke/sarcasm?
NATTYĀ
Ohio State beats Western Michigan by 69
Beat Michigan, big ten title, DEEP playoff run
My hope is that itās a title year, historically the Buckeye teams expected to win it all havenāt because theyāve tripped up somewhere but with the 12 team era leaving a margin for error I like our chances. Everyone has fun
Natty
We win the natty after beating TTUN With the talent returning there's no reason to expect less
Winning 10+ games, beating TTUN, and winning a playoff game.
Win the Natty!!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
So not muchĀ
Beat tcun and make it the title game. After that, Iād only be mad if they got slobber knocked.
Michigan is sad
š„š„
Beat them

Iām on board.Ā
