Measure and record all your calories and macros and look for answers there.

My nightmare calaries and macro. You are probably right - i have yo start record. Any app you recommend. Always found it so difficult. 😰

Yes it’s always miserable, I always used my fitness pal as it has the biggest database. Not sure if there’s something better but that’s where I’d go. Also, don’t forget to drink an actual shit ton of water everyday!

CarefulFriendship194

Fitness pal and a lot of water 🫠 You really aren’t fun at all lol 😘 but you are right - I need to up my game and stop complaining. no magic here right. Water, tracking my food and walking more Any stats that you can share from your progress so far to motivate me please 🙌

I’m down 17kg from late feb to now with about the same to lose again. I’ve not seen the huge reductions of others but I’m broadly happy with 1-2kg per month. Slow and steady is best for weight loss but like you I’m currently at a plateau and it’s annoying me greatly. My approach is more water, more gym and more focus on calories - I don’t focus hugely on macros beyond protein.

I plateaued a bit on the .5 as well. I’ve definitely been losing the most at 1.0 and I’ve been at the same dose for at least a couple months and plan on staying at 1.0 as long as possible. Definitely keep trying to hit 10k+ every day. I think I’m walking a lot of the weight off. Good luck!!

CarefulFriendship194

Plateau is so painful… 4 months - it’s killing me 😳 How long did you stay on the 0.5mg and 1mg? How much weight did on each dose so far ? Feel it’s time for me to move up now Yes, I have increase my step to 10k - hope to keep it up daily.

I’ve been on ozempic a total of 7 months and have lost 33lbs. (SW 190, CW 156.5 H 5’3) I was only on .25 for about 6 weeks. Was probably on .5 for 2 months and 1.0 the rest. Definitely have seen better progress on 1.0 but every now and then I’ll be stagnant for a week. I also recommend viewing your weight by the weekly average and not just every day. Day to day I can go up and down so I think the average is a better reflection of how I’m doing. Everyone’s body is different so I hope you are doing well and trying to stay positive!

Necessary-Try

Lift weights - build muscle and increased fat burn. Are you seeing a nutritionist? Highly recommend, particularly in finding one who had experience with ozempic. Mine had really helped in pulling together smart food plans, particularly on when to eat certain food groups (carbs vs protein) around my exercise to maximise the calorie burn window.

CarefulFriendship194

No i haven't found a nutrionist experienced with oz. I will look into it. Thanks
