Not every round can be dead serious. Sometimes I cool off and play a bit more relaxed round , being spontaneus and doing "stupid' stuff. You have to step out of your comfort zone sometimes and mix up things a little to keep it interesting and fun.
If you just grind, it kills the creativity and fun

If I hopped into a game with randos and one of them was like, “hey, I kinda wanna just hot drop and screw around for the hell of it.” I’d immediately be like hell yeah, I’m in! Haha

People choosing to not work together is what bothers me most I think. My biggest pet peeve is when people don’t mark a drop location. In my experience, that’s about 95% of the time.

Get killed first or later, and everyone drops later solo in powerplant (livik), or at the tree and gets killed immediately bcs there is a full squad that already looted there. Just drop safe and wait for the team to get killed and go full team, but no everyone goes on their own.
Idk if it’s still a feature or not, but you used to be able to set your play style preference to either “hot drop” or “slow and steady”, and you could have your settings match you with people who had the same preference selected.

You can always go directly into snowy village get a recall card. When I play solo its always worthwhile to try snowy village since if I die I’ll get recalled and if I die solo anyway I wouldn’t be able to get revived outside of snowy village.
Every time i request to play with people they never accept because there already squared up with clan members. Every time I get a good squad I get 4 or five kills minimum the min I go with randoms I’m lucky to hit four. It’s just the squad mates I need because let’s be honest if you have a good squad your getting good kills and wins when your basically playing alone your not much good against a squad
I just don’t enjoy hotdrops il be honest my CQC is shit but I’m mega with a sniper. I’m more of a distance players will push and rush with a good squad but that’s rare as I’ve said randoms usually are crap
if you have leskillz yourself you can actually DI (all by) Y in Nusa actually - your teammates can be the type that dont even know how to use the joystick or find the fire button all the better they can just be literal Christmas decorations and you can do all the killing without worrying anyone stealing your kills or going towards bot gunshots on map
I did that this two seasons and played >1000 matches of Sqd Nusa as of date, at 150 matches/games I was still at 8KD (but Crown only), went down to 7KD at 300m (4500-4700 by this point) and now im close to 900 at 6.3-6.4KD (close to 6000)
only at 5000 onwards during mid-season then you’ll need at least 1 good teamm8 to back u up and help u else certain enemy sqds become a little more tougher to wipe by yourself
then again I played over 20K matches, never missed a single season since S1 (>200m per season), went to Conq in S8 and every season from C2S4 to C4S13
so I clocked way too many hrs and wasted a good portion of my life on this stupid game
at this point Nusa is more like a ranked TDM to me, in solo just now an hr earlier @4600-4700 rank every Nusa game I played I won (4 in a row with healthy kills 7,10,11,13) 👌🏽👍🏼

You sound like me. I had to take a long break from this game for majority of this calendar year due to frustration from crappy teammates. I recently came back due to love of the game.
I’m fine with hot drops or playing a slower paced game. I just hate people who can’t play, have zero game sense, and refuse to play as a team. There have been plenty of times when my teammate gets knocked/killed and I revive/recall. Then when the same happens to me, they literally run right past me and make 0 attempt to revive me when I just saved them. Randoms can be so irritating.
Wish you could jump out of a car without risk of dying. I’m always nervous to ride with a random. Just two of us screaming in from a distance to confront an entire squad is just dumb. I sometimes just immediately run for cover when this happens. When I hear little kid voices in the lobby I exit the group. They never play well, and always beg you to save them after they’ve made dumb decisions.

I always play squad and rank conqueror and never follow randoms nor let them follow me. If they make it to the end of the game it’s a bonus for me but most people in the game have no idea what they’re doing and lack any tactical ability.
It’s not about that it’s about landing in the right spot and surviving in all the chaos. If u just die as soon as u land then ur either not jumping right, or jumping in places where you can get shot from different angles.
I just found out if you use the rail and slide you can literally fly into the second floor balcony in the back of the castle thing. Makes it so much easier to get up into the castle if there’s a ton of ppl already on it.
I've never played with other people, I've only ever played solo like 4 years. Playing with stupid people like this would just piss me off. Also with my time zone it would only probably be people who don't speak English so yeah that would be annoying too.

I reached Conqueror in the previous season by playing solo versus squads 4+ kd without using audio while listening to something else on my laptop 😂 i truly don't like randoms most of them either leave match or nade each other etc.
I’ve been playing solo squads this season and currently up to crown 5 with a 5 something KD so it’s easily playable without teammates but discord groups are good to find players aswell

I fuckin agree, I play with my wife pretty casually and we queue squads but no auto matching for the same reasons. Very rarely have we gotten an actual person and when we do they’re sweaty as fuck and steal our kills n try to leave in our car if we have one🙄🙄

Personally, my shitty phone and mediocre internet make this a bad idea for me lol. But tbf, I rarely play the event modes at all.
