For me its the lucky testicles 😂 i'm not sure what they actually are. I often go for the grey tofu/dumpling cards and noodle cards bc i think ppl might pick them to collect less.Â
(my favourite cards are sweet corn & shrimp, but that's more just that they're pretty and sweetcorn is delicious)
Oh! That possibility never occurred to me, even with the heat root. Cauliflower was the only thing I could think of, even though it doesn't really fit in that category.
I was going to say I need to strategize! But I agree. I have a theory (also me personally) that we tend to drop the more dull colors first. Unless we have a few
The rolled meat always makes my mouth water, and although I will always prioritize what will let me maximize table points/build toward a threes-of-a-kind win, I've been SO sad that I haven't been able to keep it in my hand the last several nights I've played. v\_v Rolled meat + bok choy + garlic or scallions is, like, my ideal hot pot. XD
I will confess that I will always discard brightshrooms in a hurry, if I can. Kenyatta has a dialogue about them (content note: vomiting mention):

That, and the bright blue color, plus the resemblance of the icon to *Amanita muscaria* (fly agaric), PLUS the fact that they suck up Flow from Human ruins? Yeah I don't want THAT in my soup, thanks!
(I also tend to get rid of tofu because I'm mildly allergic to soy and don't like the thought of eating it, even though fried tofu is really delicious...)
I tend to go for the beige or grey cards. For some inexplicable reason I hate the sweetcorn and just avoid it altogether 😂 I often don't go for the oranges eitherÂ
I wouldn't say I have a lucky one. I do tend to get rid of the same ones: the meats, the noodles, and the thingies on the other pale color group. Honestly I can't really tell the difference between those colors very well, and it was a long time before I realized all the tiles have a little symbol in the corners to indicate category.
I just learned what the "cauliflower" is actually supposed to be, but what are the peppermint-candy-striped rolls in the meat category?
I usually go for noodles, dumplings, meat or spices because in most games I’ve played they seem to be the most commonly discarded. Meanwhile the green and yellow veggie cards and fish are normally hard to come by and the mushrooms just don’t exist half the time. Might have something to do with people not liking the blander/samey feel of the dumplings/noodles/meat cards but they’re almost always the first sets to get dropped in my games
I almost always win with mushrooms, Meat and Seafood. Obviously if I already got two of something else I wont get rid of them for those but thats what I get the most of
If I see potato, I take potato.

The lucky testicles lmao they’re rice cakes but I’m not going to be able to unsee.
Currently playing. Can attest it’s unseeable
NOT THE LUCKY TESTICLES 😂😂 My sister and I have been calling them eggs because we didn't know what they actually wereÂ
omg thank you! i’ve been trying to figure out what it was. now what’s the cauliflower looking thing ðŸ˜
Super close up dari cloves
thank you! i guess i haven’t seen them close enough to be able to tell 😅

I was calling it a radish until someone else pointed it out to me haha
You are correct about me. I hate the tan and lavender cards.
Do do that too cause it seems grey is not supposed to be super popular. Wonder how many more think the same way we do. 😅
i honestly just go with what’s the most attainable with my starting hand. don’t shoot for anything in particular
I won't use the meats! I always try to use the shrooms
in order of most likely to use to most likely to drop: meat seafood spices greens veggies (yellow) noodles dumplings (gray) mushrooms
Oh really! I didn’t know this
oh this is just me personally lol tho i notice a lot of mushroom/dumplings/noodles get dropped
I was going to say I need to strategize! But I agree. I have a theory (also me personally) that we tend to drop the more dull colors first. Unless we have a few
Always the one I’m craving 😂 yesterday it was sea food
Veggies, i love love the veggies!

The pierogies!
Mushrooms always, just because I love mushrooms

Garlic is always lucky for me!!
