Oh nah i meant the people themself.
And like i do get ya but i prefer the monarchist or commie trees quite often cos they often have alot more diplo play before you go all out war
ah well that I don‘t know. Might be a power fantasy thing.
I hate the all out war in HOI IV, that‘s why I love mods in different times that don‘t automatically cause a world war. Navigating around causing a fullout war is much more fun than just fighting WW2 over and over again.
While I can defo respect it, the allout war is the big finalé for me personally, especially if I'm playing a major.
If I'm not (Which is most of the time, am a dirty catalanarchist myself v often) then I'll usually avoid it till I'm more built up and i can have a significant impact
> beats the Germans and the soviets
> world tension go boom from capitulation
> AI make stupid peace demands
> world tension go boom from regarded peace deals
> get hated by other democracies cuz you saved their ass and because they gain territorial concessions
Yeah fuck democracy. Kill them all.
Try their sci-fi game sometime. Stellaris teaches you that democracy is terrible and the rewards of tolerance are treachery and betrayal. Everybody plays megacorps or authoritarian militant states or monarchies with immortal rulers for greater stability.
Wait, are you the OP of that rant in the Stellaris sub last week?
Someone went off about how Democracy needs a fix because the player has so little control over who is elected to office every decade. Most people seemed to be confused why there was a problem with it, so I don't know if it is a common complaint or not. Just funny things.,
Not I. In fact I missed that one. I haven't been active there lately, I've just regularly run across the sentiment on the sub when I am, and share it to an extent. The democracy mechanics can be painful at times, especially the rapid turnover of leaders and narrow windows in which to take advantage of their bonuses, but also impossible campaign promises, radical political factions, a general inability to keep everyone happy, usually massive influence of random pops that self assign to inefficient jobs, any kind of continuity needs to be made by endlessly pissing away valuable resources (and the already thin illusion you're even playing a Democracy; you're clearly a shadow ruling "deep state" when you start doing that).
One might reasonably point out that these are largely just accurate reflections of a real democracy, which leads to the not *always* a joke bit on hating democracy.
I just have ancap turtles. Sure, take over the galaxy, as long as you don't touch me and let me build branch offices everywhere, I couldn't care less about you enslaving billions.
Play democratic crusaders more, free wargoals on literally anyone who's not a commie. And sometimes free wargoals on the commies too, if you're good enough at Stellaris Realpolitik
There's also alot of auth left and lib lefts in the hoi community too. A server I'm in has so many trans people and they/thems. Alot of unironic commies as well.
Syndicalism is the most American form of socialism and you can’t change my mind. It’s so unfortunate that the ussr had to go and ruin socialism. Damn socialists! They ruined socialism!
Kaiserreich is the most fun HOI4 setting and you can't change my mind. I'm fairly certain it's created a number of comrades as well, by introducing them to Syndicalism.
Warhammer (both 40k and fantasy) is basically all the flavors of auth right killing each other.
Except the skaven / tyranids who just want to breed for gods sake.
You just follow the life story of one particular penis and his day to day routine of "brushing his teeth" and going to work and stuff like that. It's like octodad or manual samuel but with a cock and balls.
I considered some sort of military shooter with somewhat nationalistic themes for authright like Halo, but it seemed unequal to put a big budget AAA title for one, when everyone else has a more small scale indie title
Castle Crashers could be good, since it casts crusaders as heroes.
Stardew Valley is kind of "back to the basics" traditionalist.
There's a minimalist game literally just called "Kingdom" that involves a monarch single handedly making her country great again.
I feel like Stardew Valley is more Lib-right. But the homesteader, "just leave me the fuck alone in my small town" Lib-right as opposed to the "I will be CEO and make all the money" Lib-right.
There are plenty of lower budget city builder or strategy games revolving around kingdom building. Manor Lords or Foundation to name just a couple. Or something older like Stronghold Crusader.
Halo is AuthCenter af. The Spartans were kidnapped as kids and trained to be the ultimate killing machines to assassinate insurgents. Fortunately for humanity, when the Covenant arrived "crimes against humanity" became based and redpilled.
If the UEG/UNSC/ONI wasn't AuthCenter the galaxy would have been exterminated.
Mass Effect is authright. You are a space cop above the law allowed to kill and destroy at your content because the leaders of the galaxy said you could. Can't fall under authleft because the galaxy is capitalist to all hell even bringing back legal slavery in some parts.
Great trilogy.
Cringe using small fash land combat bonuses vs real chad using superior communist industry to build enough bombers to explode your out of date neighbors from above
How’s this for AuthRight: Spectrobes. You play as a member of a planetary police force and get to play god by reviving long extinct fossils (the Spectrobes) and fight the disgusting (partially black) alien invaders called the Krawl.
I was about to suggest Deep Rock Galactic for authright, but the more I think about it, the more I realize it's kinda all over the place.
Could do Ready or Not for authright. You're literally a SWAT officer and go kick in doors and shoot people.
DRG is peak lib-right, except you're the indentured workers to a faceless and unaccountable corporation rather than the capitalists most lib-rights imagine themselves as.
>But, mission rewards are shared equally, which is pretty authleft.
The pay given to the dwarves, and the performance bonuses are shared equally amongst the team, but it's made very clear that the vast majority of what you make goes to benefit the board. (The Glyphid egg retrieval missions are to get omelette ingredients for them)
>And then there's the innumerable war crimes.
Either the Glyphids are intelligent, in which case the dwarves are a private corporation killing natives for access to their natural resources, which is peak capitalism, or they're not and it's simply pest control.
The pay given to the ~~dwarves~~ workers, and the performance bonuses are shared equally amongst the team, but it's made very clear that the vast majority of what you make goes to benefit the ~~board~~ politburo.
Hmmm
State Capitalism is still capitalism, but I don't see what the relevance of swapping the roles involved is when it's made clear in-game that Deep Rock Galactic is a private corporation.
Authright is about to send credible death threats and explosive devices to your house because you didn't include one for them, because they want ***ethics in games journalisim***
Boltgun literally just came out, and the Imperium of Man is, predominantly, a capitalist theocracy. It even has a smaller, *slightly* more LibRight theocracy within it: the Adeptus Mechanicus.
Imperium of Man is also pretends to be big on meritocracy, which can be pretty easily shoehorned into any quadrant except LibLeft.
There’s no big business in the imperium? Hive worlds are pure industry. Funding for heretical movements almost always begins with shady business dealings among colonial leadership.
Well, there is a game that is essentially Papers please but you are a boarder guard in some fantasy setting and you can assault chicks trying to go through, that could fit.
You couldn't think of a game for blue? None of the monarchist ones came to mind? Cmon reigns or something homes, it's just 4 steryotypes to fill lmao
HOI IV or crusader kings 3 have to be up there.
True, although think the guys tryin to go indie. Played enough HOI4 to know it's community are DEFO authrigjt
Facist or communist countries are just so much more fun to play as in HOI IV. Steamrolling the world as facist USA is the best.
Oh nah i meant the people themself. And like i do get ya but i prefer the monarchist or commie trees quite often cos they often have alot more diplo play before you go all out war

Well now I have the craving to play some HOI IV. Honestly I‘ve bever played as the spanish anarchists. Might try that.
Go for it homes. Enjoy your hoi
> beats the Germans and the soviets > world tension go boom from capitulation > AI make stupid peace demands > world tension go boom from regarded peace deals > get hated by other democracies cuz you saved their ass and because they gain territorial concessions Yeah fuck democracy. Kill them all.
Try their sci-fi game sometime. Stellaris teaches you that democracy is terrible and the rewards of tolerance are treachery and betrayal. Everybody plays megacorps or authoritarian militant states or monarchies with immortal rulers for greater stability.
Got a few thousand hours in stellaris, largely play democracies or techno-pacifist oligarchies
Nice. Did you find a way to work with the democracy mechanics or is it mostly a personal challenge or role-playing thing?
Wait, are you the OP of that rant in the Stellaris sub last week? Someone went off about how Democracy needs a fix because the player has so little control over who is elected to office every decade. Little of both but the boons from election promises are p. Easy plus you can rig it real easy. Plus democratic civics are fun
I just have ancap turtles. Sure, take over the galaxy, as long as you don't touch me and let me build branch offices everywhere, I couldn't care less about you enslaving billions.
Honestly fair, that's me but swap money for science
Play democratic crusaders more, free wargoals on literally anyone who's not a commie. And sometimes free wargoals on the commies too, if you're good enough at Stellaris Realpolitik
I just can't stop myself from playing as Commonwealth of Man and being the nemesis and purging the galaxy of xenos.
Oh well then Kingdom would fit that mold, no?
Which one is kingdom?
https://www.kingdomthegame.com
Ooooh, i have that actually. Great indie game
Wait until you meet the Stellaris community.
Trust me, I have bud
Xenophobic, Militarist and Spiritualist Empires for everybody!!
There's also alot of auth left and lib lefts in the hoi community too. A server I'm in has so many trans people and they/thems. Alot of unironic commies as well.
True, kinda get that. I guess the authrights just stand out more cause they be droppin' slurs and getting aggro with each other more often
Don't get me wrong definitely alot of auth rights. I just find the community is surprisingly diverse.
Good point, Crusader kings is an excellent example
Or any of the Mount & Blade games for that matter
oh shit, forgot about them. The head chopper simulator 2000
EU4 and Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Not a video game per se but anything Warhammer related.
I interpreted that as a shot at the stellar levels of ignorance amongst Game Journos.
That's true lmao
Anything Warhammer 40k...
Warhammer (both 40k and fantasy) is basically all the flavors of auth right killing each other. Except the skaven / tyranids who just want to breed for gods sake.
Inb4 furry hitler
Me over here on my way to commit manifest Destiny in Hearts of Iron 4
Nah, manifest destiny is EU4, Hoi4 is manifest global hegemony really lol
Manifest destiny is Vicky 3, it’s literally a journal entry 😡😡😡😡
Dante’s Inferno, Crusader Kings, Mount and Blade, or Fable 3 would all work
Mount and Blade is based
Sex with Hitler
Funniest response so far
Shotgun King: Final Checkmate
Dante's Inferno, DOOM, Blasphemous...all well known games.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1CQ7Vwz8Eo It's so easy.
Think op was talkin indie but fair
Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Libleft has me sickened yet intrigued Edit: $7 on steam, 90% positive reviews, multiplayer game about putting wiggly peni in wiggly butts
There's a campaign mode too.
How does gay sex have a story progression?
You just follow the life story of one particular penis and his day to day routine of "brushing his teeth" and going to work and stuff like that. It's like octodad or manual samuel but with a cock and balls.
Genital jousting is awesome. You can fuck yourself in it. Gotta get long enough tho.
The campaign is… shockingly good. Like ridiculously so, with legitimate applications to real life.
I can’t tell if everyone here is fucking trolling me, or genuinely telling me that *genital jousting* is a great, cheap game on steam.

Oh dang didn't realise that was out yet ty
Instant AuthLeft
Bible: the game [on sale for steam](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2167220/The_Bible/)
Damn that looks boring, they easily couldve made a good quest based game about the prophets.
Let me tell you about Helam… The Book of Mormon rpg
Any Paradox Game
True
I just play stellaris and genocide all the xenos on the side while my dyson sphere generates credits.
I considered some sort of military shooter with somewhat nationalistic themes for authright like Halo, but it seemed unequal to put a big budget AAA title for one, when everyone else has a more small scale indie title

Alien Scumbags maybe?
There are plenty of lower budget city builder or strategy games revolving around kingdom building. Manor Lords or Foundation to name just a couple. Or something older like Stronghold Crusader.
The army released a propaganda video game that introduced aim down sights to first person shooters
Yeah Americas army. It’s pretty good. Unfortunately it’s got a really small playerbase
Hmmm, I’ll have to get it.
Attack from Mars! pinball it's got xenophobia AND military worship in spades
Most of the paradox grand strategy games like crusader kings, hoi4, eu4, and Victoria 2/3 could work as auth right
Kingdom Come: Deliverance for the auth-right indie game. 'ate the Cumans 'ate Sigismund 'ate Bandits Luv the Church Luv me Lord Luv the King Simple as
foxhole ?
I feel like literally any Warhammer 40k game would fit the bill. Or maybe mordhau
Based Turnip Boy

Wolfenstein obviously
I'm actually offended libright isn't Recettear.
Or Moonlighter
This sub is too young to know
:(
Mass Effect is authright. You are a space cop above the law allowed to kill and destroy at your content because the leaders of the galaxy said you could. Can't fall under authleft because the galaxy is capitalist to all hell even bringing back legal slavery in some parts. Great trilogy.
I’ve had enough of your disingenuous assertions
I mean is papers please really Authleft? I thought the game was supposed to portray just how messed up quite a bit of the USSR was?
I'd say the regime in papers please leans more towards authcenter
In CIV VI, you can turn your civilization into a monarchy, so i would think it would be blue.
True but you can also turn it into a communist state
You can turn it into a commie state if you're being a pansy and not taking over your neighbors with fascism.
Cringe using small fash land combat bonuses vs real chad using superior communist industry to build enough bombers to explode your out of date neighbors from above
You don't need that many new troops if your existing ones are too strong to kill.
Crusader Kings but you only ever play as the Holy Roman Empire
A wonderful I am a Duke within the HRE and I have a nice realm that I can modestly grow AAAANNNNNDDDDD just got voted emperor
Just put a warhammer one in the Authright corner.
How’s this for AuthRight: Spectrobes. You play as a member of a planetary police force and get to play god by reviving long extinct fossils (the Spectrobes) and fight the disgusting (partially black) alien invaders called the Krawl.

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion is a great game.
genital jousting is the best game ever made
okay but unironically genital jousting sounds like it'd be hilarious for like 13 minutes.
Crusader Kings is an easy one
crusader kings! Or if you're taking the piss, Prison Architect!
Bruh, like 50% of all games are Auth Right
You could put fallout new Vegas in all of these lol
> Get a fricking flair dumbass. *** ^(User hasn't flaired up yet... 😔) ^^|| [**[[Guide]]**](https://imgur.com/gallery/IkTAlF2)

Doom is fitting for Auth Right.
Auth right: wolfenstein NWO
Civilization or stellaris could be in the center

There’s no big business in the imperium? Hive worlds are pure industry. Funding for heretical movements almost always begins with shady business dealings among colonial leadership.
That's called corporatism. It's literally the economic system used by the fascists.
Some Fascists. The idea was popular with the Italian, Spaniard and Portuguese movements, not so much with the Germans, Hungarians or Romanians.
Thanks.
>no free market (confused rogue trader sounds)
I AM THE POINT OF HIS SPEAR
I WILL FINISH WHAT CAPTAIN TITUS STARTED
What about Angry Goy II?
I would say Far Cry 5? The game have a lot of Bible references.
But you're fighting the Auth righters as a cop who is probably authright themselves just more sane. Lol
Shit so I guess that makes you double right.... hmm
Dante's inferno was right there final fantasy 7 would have been a significantly less crude choice for libleft as well
Repost with Crusader Kings As upper right quad.
Frostpunk
"Jesus strikes back" is in authright
AuthRight: the Batman Arkham games
I would put Bloons TD6 on lib right
Well, there is a game that is essentially Papers please but you are a boarder guard in some fantasy setting and you can assault chicks trying to go through, that could fit.
Stellaris or hoi4 for authright
Even if you couldn't think of civilization, age of empires or any Warhammer 40k game you still got the shit ton of Bible games out there
Any warhammer for authright
Authright is Ghost Recon Wildlands or any of the Clancy games the man actually helped with.
