Oh, God! I remember watching it on the news when I was 7. It terrified me because our police were killing our young people , and my parents fought about it.
They are doing exactly that. These things aren't a mistake to them, they will do anything necessary to maintain the status quo that gives them their positions of power and privilege. Appealing to the humanity of the people in charge of this country is a fool's errand.
I'm tired of Isreal getting a free pass on their horrible violent war. Yeah, the Jews have been traumatized more than once. That doesn't give them the right to kill thousands on innocent people.
Why is that kind of protest met with such backlash? I do not get it at all.

I keep thinking this is Kent State pretty soon if we’re not careful

Nah. All true Revolutions need martyrs. Leave it to the Estabilishment to earn itself bad optics.
Blah blah blah what are you going to do about it? Democrats talk alot but you never actually see them DO anything about the problem.
