Why would I want to use fragile clay when I can print them on a fdm or resin printers? Honestly there is 1000's of wall stl's for free. You do know I can modify your stl to print flat and bypass the rolling feature.
I agree with /u/NcGunnery, but not his holier than thou attitude.
I don't think making these out of clay and foam would be any faster or cost effective than printing 20 walls and 10 floor sections overnight.
This is a cool thing, but when given the option to print this and mess around with clay and foam, or simply print the entire ruins and not have to do anything, I don't know why anyone would choose the clay and foam.
I never had much luck with clay in any long term form. It breaks or cracks to easily. I have pretty much went to printing what I need and I make molds and recast the pieces.
Does using DAS air dry clay help prevent the material from getting stuck in the details of the roller as it is used? It is an issue I faced when using a roller on greenstuff.
Hey, I have one question. I've seen you roll the clay and then stick it to a cardboard box. When I did this with noname clay it warped/shrunk/ cracked while drying. Does this happen with das or am I better of just leaving it to cure before attaching to an understructure?
Depends really if it is a natural structure it’s fine to do this when wet or bent metal or something but if you want it to not shrink at all or bend then best to make it dry first before peeling it up
You’re so talented. I don’t make tiles like these but I always take great joy watching YOU make them.

If I'd join your patreon, would I get access to all previously released rollers or would I need to buy them separately?
Could not do that or people would just leave and join again a year later haha. There is a 40% discount code for all the previous releases though.

I've joined the tribe, how do I get the coupon code?
Didn't you already post this or am I just remembering it from everywhere else it's spammed
Just from everywhere it's spammed probably. I've seen it no less than like 6 times. It was great the first time I saw it, but now it's very annoying.
Thats fucking cool!
Thanks! Glad you like it
Do these need to be printed with resin or filament?
Either works fine, they are fully pre-supported for resin and flat for FDM. Up to you 🙂
That is EXTREMELY cool
Thank you kindly 🙂

Way faster and cost effective. What’s with the attitude at the end? Go for it man modifying stls is just digital kitbashing.
Thats all most if these 'new' stl's are. Re-bashed from others work over the years. I havent seen a stl worth buying in 2 years.

Using sculpey would make it very durable
Very cool
What materials do you use there? The end result is fantastic!
my rollers and DAS air dry clay =D

Yeah 100% it does not get stuck, green stuff works better if you wet it but no matter what Das will stick way less
Isn't there a foam of some sort in between the clay "plates" as well?
Dollar store readiboard I think
Ummm this is amazing!!
Very Cool!
