Well, if we're going by the rule of cool, some people would have been turned into beasts, some would have used it and defeated the beasts. But if we're going by Lovecraftian themes, Remnant would have been SCREWED. That's kind of what Lovecraftian horror is all about, humanity's ultimate insignificance, its inability to comprehend the world and how the attempt to do so will result in its downfall. The boss fights and the soundtrack would have been fire, though.

Ironically enough though, the Great Ones of Bloodborne are actually pretty nice all things considered, especially compared to the Brothers. They canonically like humans and are sympathetic towards them, it’s humanity’s (*cough* Laurence *cough*) own hubris that screws them over.

UnbiasedGod

Ahh the beautiful insignificance of humanity.

On one hand you have Grimm, who are already bad enough, then you have the beast which are... well, we all know, i wonder what would happen if the Grimm consume the Blood or even Salem... that is a scary thought.

captain_bedsheets

Oh yeah! For all their blunders, Cinder and Salem have some self-control (if only in the menial definition of the term). Imagine them losing that, and fully succumbing to the monster within.

Happy cake day

On one hand i see the world using the blood as a medicine to help people heal in ways aura can not. Of course that when they see the effects that the blood can have on people i can see them only using the blood on extreme cases and having some precautions. I can also see the Huntsmen using the blood as a temporal boost in case they face an enemy or enemies that they could not defeat on their own of course that since the blood is adictive i can see a bunch of Huntsmen and even civillians ending up getting an addiction to the blood, i could even see Qrow ending up having an addiction to it in case the alcohol is not enough. Not only that but Roman and other criminal organizations sealling the blood illegally so there would be parts of Vale, Mantle, etc that are swarn by beasts. I could even see Adam using the blood and convincing a lot of members of the White Fang to use it to tap more into their animal side, believing that this way they will evolve beyond humanity, separating themselves from humanity as a whole. Maybe having Ruby use the blood to refer to the bad wolf from Little Red Riding Hood, as both of them being the same here.

Gilberto360

Of course that (if i remember Correctly) the negative effects of the blood came because the old one's decended, so if there is not any of the old ones there wold not be any of this (But that would not be an interesting premise)

AgenteDeKaos

Poor Jaune is defiantly going to turn into the Ludwig expy of the RWBY world. Hell just because suffering is his middle name he might be the guy stuck in the dream

ThenEcho2275

....fanfiction link anyone? this has to exist

Gilberto360

Unfortunately i haven't found anything like this. But you know what they say about fanfiction, if you can not find it, then you have create it.

ThenEcho2275

....I'm tempted now probably gonna write a rough draft then forget about it then come back to it a month later

You know what, now that i think of it, i kinda have an idea to a fanfic. So everything si mostly the same up to the point where the gods fuck off to space after they whipe humanity up. When they leave, something else shows up in the planet, inside the moon there was something, the moon presence. Now after the gods create the New humans they relise that there was something New on the planet, the great ones, a single one would not be a problem to the gods but the great ones outnumbered the brothers, so the GOL waked up Ozma and telled him about the relics, but also about the Great ones. Ozma is horrofied by the discovery but tries to keep humanity together. Then he finds Salem and both of them try to be the New gods, but the thing is after they have their 4 children something happen, Salem was pregnant again, but the Child was not Ozma's, was one of the great one's, of course when the Child was born it horrofied both of them, specially Salem. I think a great one might one Salem as a surrogate mother thanks to ther magic and or her inmortality. With the knowledge that she can not die and the existence of The great ones she goes crazy (more than usual). For salem i'm not really sure what direction she would go from there, maybe she is a spirit like the Queen of Yharnam, but you know, inmortal, either that or just a more crasier version of her self. I think many scientist and scholars would find the blood, and use it to benefit society from medicine or even as a way to boost the hunstmen of course having to pay the price. i think the White Fang could develop into another faction, this one being lead by Adam, using the blood to evolve and sparete themselves from Humanity. I also think that Qrow could end up using the blood too many times and maybe turning into a Monster, so maybe it would be cool (and cruel) to have a fight with Ruby vs a bloodlusted Qrow. But that's all i have right now.

GamerOverkill03

Depends entirely on how it’s used. In moderation, the blood is actually pretty beneficial. Things only go south when it’s used in excess, fostering an addiction that eventually leads to the transformation into a Beast. The exception to this is when the red Moon descends, which exponentially accelerates the process to the point where a single dose could turn someone who doesn’t have a strong enough will. In other words, never give Qrow the blood, which is canonically more intoxicating the alcohol. He’d be a Beast within a week. I imagine Faunus would turn into beast-like variants of their associated animal trait, since that just makes sense. So Blake would become some sort of cat-like Beast, Adam would be a giant bull, etc. I can also see Salem doing some witchy alchemical experiments with the blood to try and mix it with Grimm liquid, with potentially terrifying consequences. Cinder would likely end up as the guinea pig for these tests, and probably end up blood-drunk sooner or later. Team RWBY I can all see gaining various benefits from blood ministration and becoming Hunters. Yang in particular would get a huge boost since Rally (and maybe some of the damage reduction Caryll Runes) would compensate for her semblance requiring her to take hits. Any damage taken is immediately healed by the counterattack. Weiss’ aesthetic is already so similar to Cainhurst’s (pale skin, white hair, noble bloodline, gun rapier, etc) that I feel obligated to make her a Vileblood. Imagine her summoning an Arma Gigas made of her own blood, that sounds so cool. The list goes on and on. Bloodborne and RWBY have a lot of common ground that could be fun to explore in a crossover.

Gilberto360

I wonder if the aura the people of remnant have would be affected by the blood, not only that but also their semblance.
