This is standard RH purchasing protocol, lol. I went through a half dozen RH dolls in Walmart the other day before I found one that didn't look like she met with an unfortunate lab accident.
When my mom and I go doll hunting, we usually pretend we are going to buy more than one so the employees can get some from the back and put the wonky one back on its part of the shelf. Honestly, employees have no problem doing this and are nice; shoutout out to the store employees!! Many thanks!!
