This keeps happening to me. It’s fixed by restarting the program or the machine running. Would like to know what’s causing the issue as it’s pretty annoying. Following.

Dang, neither of those things fixed it for me. It’s very annoying

Keeps happening to me randomly too, music will keep playing but top half of the screen goes black and ill have to restart rekordbox, extremely annoying when I'm in the middle of a good mix at a party and I gotta stop the music. I've had this issue for years now and no fix yet

How is your laptop/pc connected to your Pioneer hardware?

Content_Ad_2337

It’s not. I was just setting up a new crate like I always do before exporting to usb and sticking that into my xdj 1000s. I’ve never not been able to see the players on my laptop before. Hell, I’ve tested out transitions on just my laptop before without a controller, so I know it’s possible.

Ohhh damn I misread your message.. My bad bro! What’s happens when you select 1 player or simple player?

Same thing :/ nothing is showing, black area like my screenshot

How long ago "before"??? Performance Mode isn't free...it unlocks with a controller hardware device connected. But if there's nothing connected, there's no "platters" to load tunes to. I do all my playlist/analysis etc in Export mode, Performance Mode only available when my DDJ-1000 is actually connected to the laptop.

Like probably two weeks ago this was working fine. I’ve never had this issue and have had rekordbox for years. So I need to connect my laptop to my pioneer 450 mixer for the players to show up now? I have literally never needed to have my laptop plugged into my mixer before. I don’t have a controller. I have standalone xdjs and a mixer. Thanks for all the answers so far.

Have you tried updating your graphics driver? (Nvidia or whatever...) And after that reboot.

I have a MacBook Pro 2018 and I’ve tried restarting a few times already

Are you on the latest version of RB (6.6.11)? I was getting this issue randomly on my MacBook Air and I believe Pioneer noted that in the fix of the latest version. I no longer have this issue.
