Thank you!!! I love watching former tigers thrive outside of our club. We got a really solid return for him (I’d argue more than what we should have) so it’s a win/win for both clubs.
He was a decent ruck and I'm happy for him but he was usually hopeless for ground balls and average in the air.
Edit: Also helps that they have an incredibly talented midfield.
He's been very good this year and their midfield has performed better with him in it.
He's a good player that's shining at a new club.
Still, no love lost from me. Premiership player and I enjoy watching him go well at Port Adelaide.
I'm happy for him. It was the best move for everyone. Nank is clearly our #1 ruck and we weren't able to give Soldo the opportunities he needed and deserved. Such is the way with rucks.
In 2019 I think we actually hit peak ruck abilities with choldo. I can’t remember what it was, Chol injured? Just dropped for nank? But it was the perfect tap work of Chol with the straight kicking of Chol which was pretty magical
Said it heaps of times here, but he was always the better actual ruckman, but Nank was better around the ground. Soldo can actually do an okay job when rested up forward also. Can take a mark and kick pretty straight.
Good on him

I know, who would have thought Mason Cox was that efficient.

For sure. That’s why we got Nank in the first place, he couldn’t get enough games for swans. It’s swings and roundabouts imho

Super happy for him but also super happy with Nank, win-win
What do you think about that Richmond
Nice to see essendon champ todd goldstein on the board

I’m glad he’s going well but we extracted maximum value for a player that we didn’t have an urgent need for. Win-win.
Also factor in that Port have probably the best midfield in the comp.
