If you hold a spoon out you'll fill it with 100 calories and also 100 carcinogens within 30 seconds
If you take a deep breath you won't be able to breathe out
Even the corpses get cancer
I was up against/slightly built into the mountain already. My religion was ready to reform, and somehow, living deep inside the mountain suddenly seemed like a divine revelation.
The wasters came to check it out... there are even more shamblers now. This tile belongs to DEATH, and the only way out is through the mountain pass... which has like 100+ shamblers of various types. Ogres and wasters and thrumbos, oh my.
I'll have to believe you for now... I'm not exactly in a hurry to go out there and try to harvest the stuff. There are *just a few* dangerous things out there right now.
Shamblers' bioferrite generation is equal to their body size so a Thrumbo shambler produces 4 bioferrite per day, equivalent to a Revenant or 2 Toughspikes.
I'm somewhat sad to say the fires started by the imp raid killed and destroyed quite a few of the shamblers, including the thumbos, and of course, themselves.
Well, now you know for next time you've got rotting Thrumbo corpses on the map, hit them with deadlife dust and capture them for insane bioferrite generators.
just before this whole thing kicked off I had a forced weather mission that lasted a whole season of ***Foggy Rain***
Feels like my storyteller was like, "Oh, you like thick air huh? How about...THIS THICK!?"
I am literally dealing with the resurrection and pall at the same time as well and i was just thinking when does this end, then these 2 sangophages are doing a shadowy meeting here WHILE im protecting these 12 prisoners from a raid that has yet to arrive AND 1/3rd of my map is on fire
POV: The bathroom after dad goes inside
I resent that comment. As a dad.
I respect it. As a dad.
I am doing that right now. As a Dad
Glad to see we all enjoy reddit on the toilet
As Dads
Tfw dad poops and farts archotech nanites
Typical British weather then
Bit rubbish today, innit?
Could be worse, bruv
That malevolent gas always sticks on my brick home! Even 1800 had a better perfume
I’m currently wafting sage and lavender around to mask the smell off dead Victorian chimney sweeps in my house……
Yeah same, how those kids dare to die in MY CHIMINEY, so un professional!

Hey, pretty nice planet-scale kill zone you set up there!
I have some regrets about stepping up the monolith.
at that point just wear a scuba gear
Nah fuck that get a spacesuit
Get an heavy duty Space suit
I do have SoS2 installed, but we're a waaaays away from getting up in to space.
i mean yeah, scba would be helpful (doubt scuba would be tho)
Hope you built your base up against a mountain and can start digging in deeper, because going outside is a bad idea for a season or two.

POV: you are visiting the garden of nurgle
Wasters be like: “Our tile”
The wasters came to check it out... there are even more shamblers now. This tile belongs to DEATH, and the only way out is through the mountain pass... which has like 100+ shamblers of various types. Ogres and wasters and thrumbos, oh my.
thrumbo shamblers are incredible source of biofferite

How about some more beans Mr. Taggart?
And this is why I will always be one of the mountain folk. I've got water, fungi, and everything else I need accessible through tunnels.
It's so nice. Whenever something bad happens outside, I simply "forbid" the door to the outside, and everyone is fine and dandy.
Exactly! Manhunters on the loose? Lock down. Toxic fallout? Lock down. Choose to trade, but can totally go isolationist if necessary.
I random start locationed this time an I am in fact on a mountain. Well... IN a mountain now.
Especially the occasional insect friends stopping by.
Meh, fresh meat, and if you're lucky you can get yourself an insect jelly farm going.
When people say that the tension in the air is so heavy that it can be cut with scissors, that's not what they usually mean...
I tried to scissor the air... it was too thick, it broke my scissors.
Thought something else had broken for a second, there
Dont you love waking up and chewing the morning air?
Thicker than a bowl of oatmeal.
“Hmm... the taste is correct but it doesn’t have quite the same texture as nutrient paste. **foggy rain starts** aaaah perfect!”

POV: Casual December morning in Poland, Śląsk.
The dead rise and instantly head to the Britain
Nah, they head to a convenience store to get a beer or two.
At least it's not death pall right after a 40 tribal raid. Please help.
Oh, there are hundreds of undead outside now. We just don't go toward that half of the map anymore.
They're on my frontline, I cant not go to that part of the map. At least the only people i lose trying to get rid of the bodies were only slaves.
Time to lock the main gates and chill inside the mighty superstructure!
Time to rapidly dig a fungal farm and pray that our food supplies hold out until the mushrooms are edible.
*puts head in a water bucket* "Ah, finally something actually breathable"
At least no blood rain
Ahh, the bright side.
This is like every day in Houston.
Sounds like lovely weather to stay inside and curl up with a book.
COVID Flashbacks: Shelter in place.
Yeah, but at least my dudes can all gather in the same room to play pool, or drink beer, or have a mental breakdown.
# "...That all you got, Randy?"
[I ain't hear no bell](https://media1.tenor.com/m/eGVQvJ4H3m4AAAAd/i-didnt-hear-no-bell-randy-marsh.gif)
A good time to stay inside
*The Cloud is what blankets the sky here... you may smell it in the air, copper and sulfur... burns the lungs and seeps into the skin.*
#SMELL THAT AIR! COULDN'T YOU JUST DRINK IT LIKE BOOZE? ***sounds of an italian man asphyxiating***
Reminds me of Delhi's terrible air quality during winter.
Bro, that's probably worse than Khaara Bacterium.
Ooooooo that smell!
Can't you smell that smell? Ooooh, that smell The smell of death Surrounds you! (Don't even need to change the lyrics for this one to fit.)
oh boy I thought my volcanic winter and ice age was bad. It's been a whole year and it hasn't changed.
You know... what I've learned about Rimworld is that it can always be *worse.*
time to crank up the difficulty and get Randy in the mix. Winston waves is fun but my base!!!
I am literally dealing with the resurrection and pall at the same time as well and i was just thinking when does this end, then these 2 sangophages are doing a shadowy meeting here WHILE im protecting these 12 prisoners from a raid that has yet to arrive AND 1/3rd of my map is on fire
Mmm... smells like the rim.
China moment.
At least no blood rain
Needs acidic smog to fully min-max.
is that vanilla? Not that I am playing vanilla. I'm not teched up enough to have polluted the area bad enough to get that yet.
Smells like Tacoma Washington
Patrolling The Pail Desert really makes you wish for a Nuclear (Volcanic) Winter, huh?
*Dramatic game sounds* Haaaaavvvvveeee yooou thought about… *drumroll* DYING!
Ah yes, the Rogue Valley every summer between 2018 and 2022
Now you just need a blood rain and some of VE meteorological events. Nuclear winter anyone? Bet you could just take a shovel and dig in the air now.
