I used evo bats, fireball, zap, witch, goblin barrel, barbarian barrel, royal recruits and ice spirit. It cleaned me through the arena in like 2 days. My royal recruits are lvl 13 tho, so kinda overleveled for the arena
Drop wizard for cannon swap prince out for knight maybe swap skelly balloon with fire ball. You should be able to defend 90% of things with that, and win most games with chip damage
Lot of things you can do here, but I would change out the balloons and/or skeleton barrel. You could add hidden Tesla or fireball/poison or hog rider. There’s a lot of ways you could change this deck
Main message: you don’t need GB, SB, and balloon all in the same deck
The balloon is the only air troop (not counting the skele barrel), and so they can save their air counter for that. I would take out goblin barrel and replace it with an air troop, and also replace skarmy with a cheap card that can decent sloth of things, like a knight or ewiz like someone else suggested.

Lower elixir defense cards I would recommend that you take out one of or win conditions and replace it with something like E-wiz, knight ,or hunter
That and with this kind of deck you should have a defense tower of some sorts (bomber, tesla, cannon, inferno)
