No jerk this promo was so forced. It felt like Tony was just filtering his words thru Edge cause he's a well-liked veteran. It accomplished absolutely nothing. The crowd was dead too. I feel bad for Edge.
Yeah I feel for Edge here. Also, it is hilarious when they mentioned the founders of AEW. Bucks=no reaction, Kenny=no reaction. Cody got a pop. Guy is telling his story in a different company. These people are so contrary. Spend a bunch of time fed bad-ing and then cheering for the fed guy.
Edge has confidence which, admittedly, is like 90% of what it takes to be a decent promo but he has been lacking real substance for quite some time. His “intense” promos are all exactly the same. They feel the same, sound the same. Doesn’t matter what they’re about or at who they are aimed.
I did not want him to leave wwe at the time but he hasn’t really been missed.
It focused on getting the new guys over instead of jerking him off and them coming off as mere henchmen so it actually makes sense. They always argue who the leader of JD is and it's nice to see that the jury will always be out on that
How come I can see every segment from the Dub immediately uploaded, but when I actually want to see a segment from the gud guys it’s nowhere to be found?
What Edge doesn't realise is, if he'd have had 'creative freedom' his entire career, he'd have not hit the level in his career that he got to and not had the success either

Edge’s promos were the some of the worst parts of early Judgment Day.
Agreed. He didn’t seem to know what to say or do with the story. Dropping Edge made JD seem cooler.

When Cope gets backstage and finds he's restored Tiny's feelings. https://preview.redd.it/9d060w5t1dsc1.jpeg?width=134&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fbf61c7426b83b48d555e7c4b42dc6a2879f9a6f
