Basically it's both defusing my trigger happy friends AND the new players. But we made some really cool new friends along the way!
Yeah I failed at that last night like three times in a row… trigger happy Sailors don’t realize I am offering them the opportunity to make MORE money! But then I had to remember how paranoid I was in the beginning…
Quick question: if I have an Emissary flag up and I sell my loot, does the gold that anyone who’s in my Alliance receives get boosted as well? I doubt it does, but I figured I’d check and make sure.
Thanks. I sometimes fly the Alliance flag when I’m Reaper Grade V. What? Just because I’m a Reaper doesn’t mean I want to fight all the time. Sometimes, I just want to benefit other people while working on my Reaper’s Bones.
Absolutely!! No judgies here. I also am a “talk first” kind of pirate. That just means sometimes I have to fight in self defense a little more frequently!
They're PS players, they're just used to high intensity fast paced shooters and the like. This is a new kind of game for those kinds of players and I don't think they realize that there is a hint of diplomacy in it.
The question is how many of these are new players versus those who have played before on other platforms. Either way it's good news for a game as old as it is.

I've been really enjoying the game with a buddy of mine. I always wanted to play but I've always went the Playstation route. Sea of Thieves was the only game that I really wanted but didnt have access to and certainly couldn't afford or justify buying a console for just one game. So I'm very glad it's finally available :)
I at 2 different points in my life bought an Xbox for the specific purpose of playing Sea of Thieves and never had anyone to play with so them bringing it to ps5 has been so amazing
It has been so awesome having so many new players around man

I believe they get the straight 50% cut of the base value, and if *they* are flying an eligible emissary then the value is boosted proportionally.

Man some of these new players are out for blood! I’ve come across some swabby crews lately that are super aggressive and it’s always so funny

It’s really fuckin good, and I never would have bought an Xbox or had a PC to play it on.

I had a great time but the seas are already empty. They need to keep momentum.
