Ethel_Fam

The Plot in You R U L E

konner323233

Love them, favorite song?

CatAteRoger

Mine rotates.. Enemy currently

BeeTwerk

Hell yeah

sever_temniy

Devil sold his soul. Post-hardcore, just try.

GLITTERGUTZ22

… everything. I listen to all genres😭but most of my favorites are primarily stuff within alternative music

BubblyBend9522

Same and also vibe with it too and it my parents dont like the metal subgenre in phone when i played it. 😅😂😅😂😅

Morty-43

There's other music? 🤯

sweetsoutherngrl78

for real haha lol

nogman7

Mt fave bands throughout the years. Started from the 80s hard rock bands. Def Leppard being my fsve as a young teen. Faith No More owned me as well. And were a band you couldn't pigeon hole, genre fluid, mainstream popularity but could be heavy and dark as hell. and led by an uber talented charismatic frontman with insane vocal range (mike Patton). Some comparisons to Sleep Token regarding this. Then the grunge scene took over and I loved Soundgarden and Alice in Chains. Acid Bath! "When the kite string pops" to this day is still my fave "metal" album of all time. Then I discovered Devin Townsend and strapping young lad and followed heavy Devy all through his discography. He was my fave artist till Sleep Token. "Ocean machine" is a classic and imo, a must listen for fans of Sleep Token. Also, Steven Wilson and Porcupine tree. Followed them for years. Then July last year, I ask a younger friend with similar music tastes what he is listening to. He said Sleep Token. The rest is history. They are currently pretty much all I listen to and have been thrust into my all time fave bands for sure.

tranquilizeddaisy

Dude top-tier music taste. I was about to comment but I don’t have too since it’s basically the same. Fabulous.

EnbyQueerDeity

I'm also a major grunge lover! Plus, being from Seattle, it was ingrained. And I'm happy it was! I LOVE ALICE IN CHAINS! RIP Layne Staley!

sweetsoutherngrl78

same here I grew up with all of those bands lol I'm getting old lol but sleep token has taken over all my other music

alfred0t0rnad0

Mostly Deathcore and Metalcore. The usual DC suspects like Lorna Shore Signs of the Swarm, but also some lesser known bands like Disembodied Tyrant and Sold Soul. For Metalcore, ERRA, Invent Animate, Dance Gavin Dance, Dreamwake are some of my favorites.

cwilldude

Ayyye! You named all of my favorites for metalcore. Downtown battle mountain will forever hold a special place in my heart

Sid_Jelly

Sold soul 🖤 have u heard Shrine of Malice -Carnal Beast specifically? Young fellas with some epic talent 🤘similar vein

alfred0t0rnad0

Shrine of Malice is one of my all time favorites. I’ve been in contact with Greg briefly and he assures me of triumphant return of Shrine.

Sid_Jelly

That’s awesome news! 🙂 talented bunch…I don’t know anyone whose heard about them where I’m from. I’ll keep a look out for new tunes - thanks for the heads up 🖤

Sid_Jelly

That’s awesome news! 🙂 talented bunch…I don’t know anyone whose heard about them where I’m from. I’ll keep a look out for new tunes - thanks for the heads up 🖤

Euphoric_Ad3288

Hm-m-m... Progressive stuff mostly, djent\\mathcore\\deathcore\\post-hardcore adjacent, but I also love Deftones and everything Chino Moreno. Last thing I really liked and decided to add to my collection was an album called Ruminate by a band called Red Keep.

EnbyQueerDeity

Love Deftones!

matt_boyyy

Djent is not a Genre 🫡

SapphiresStarlight

Djent is a sub genre of progressive metal.

matt_boyyy

Just look up Periphery on Spotify

SapphiresStarlight

Ohhh man… I am not with it today😆I was listening to something from that album the other day as well.

millera9

Pretty much anything from the greater “rock” sphere; from acoustic singer-songwriter stuff up through technical death metal. A sample of what I’ve been enjoying recently: [Car Bomb](https://youtu.be/Z9iTtwaKac0?si=UeeKXofpomR_B61X) [VOLA](https://youtu.be/23V1j_cp-_k?si=rY0rd16AiPmCUnhb) [ERRA](https://youtu.be/ntDOA0jAkkA?si=y1swIeTs_kLCwlZu) [Zeal & Ardor](https://youtu.be/O3IxATTgDNc?si=sPu4P0uxxolf8Rnn) [Twelve Foot Ninja](https://youtu.be/I83Xp7itj8c?si=gPkP0vGES-yHXyMt)

oceanique86

Hell yeah, love Zeal and Ardor!

NavoSix

Nothing More (they share the number one position), Spiritbox, and Twenty-One Pilots are my top three after Sleep Token. Some honorable mentions are Gunship, Lorn, and various synthwave artists.

MadameWhiteSnek

I LOVE Nothing More. They've been my top band for the past 4 years but I feel like this will be the first year they're beaten by either Sleep Token or Bad Omens. Then again, apparently there's a new album coming out so we'll see!

NavoSix

Tunnels was my number one song for a long time before ST, and now House on Sand is easily in my top five. I'm looking forward to this new album.

MadameWhiteSnek

Oh man, House on Sand is INSANE. I love I Prevail and have been leaning more into Metalcore lately. Sleep Token is my genre bender; the sound is so unique I can't stop listening. Although I love Nothing More, I thought they weren't quite my taste anymore. Then House on Sand totally flipped the switch. 100% worthy of top 5 for 2024. Tunnels is a sleeper hit, I need to give it more attention. God Went North, It Seems, and Spirits have always been in my heavy rotation. Honestly this is such a great time in Rock, I can't wait to see what's next!

midwest-honey

Dayseeker, Caskets, Thornhill, The Plot In You, The Ghost Inside, Movements, Bad Omens. Pretty much anything in that vein!

Luvs2spooge22

Oh boy here we go, I listen to primarily sleep token, but if I’m taking a break from them it’s progressive metalcore (dayseeker) country, sometimes hip hop, trap music, metal, my music taste is all over the place

HalocraZze

oooh, Dayseeker are amazing too, listening to their songs is what made my Spotify decide to chuck Alkaline in the mix for me \^\^

Luvs2spooge22

Me as well!

Milyon519

Ghost and Slipknot. Have major"music OCD". When I find a band I like I usually listen to them literally non-stop and don't get bored whilst learning all their songs on guitar/bass . I could easily listen to TMBTE/Ascensionism 100 times a day and enjoy every second. Basically went Slipknot --> Ghost --> Sleep Token. I'm in position now where can beat that dam OCD and listen to all 3 interchangeably depending on mood. OP going to check your other fav bands and if anyone can recommend a band they've found with a blend of my 3 I'd be grateful. Of course ST are just so f\*\*\*ing unique and their own genre so might be hard...

Just_Another_Aussie

Is the mask thing a coincidence?

Milyon519

Good God, I never even thought about it this fact... xD Honestly I'd say coincidence. Slipknot was years and years. Ghost appeared randomly on YT playlist few months ago and I loved the music before even knowing they wore masks. Then discovered ST through a guy on youtube called Jamie Turton who adds orchestrations to many bands but mainly Ghost and ST. Again, only found out about the masks after listening to many of the tracks and looking deeper.

Jorvic52

Lol I’ll say the other bands I mentioned are really not like Sleep Token at all. Adventure Club are huge metal/rock fans. Au5 has a lot of hauntingly beautiful stuff. Bands I like that fit more into alt/rock. Memorist, Phantogram, Metric.

emmamartina

Mostly metal, like prog and metalcore. I love bands like Elitist, The Healing, ERRA, Volumes, NOVELISTS. But I also love gothic rock/metal like HIM, Charon, Lacrimas Profundere, Type O, Behind the Scenes etc. But I alsooo love edm. Mainly techno and some cyberpunky stuff. Hard to name some artists because there’s soo many. CEEJAY, I Hate Models, M()RE, Gesafellstein, KEYO, The Prodigy. I loveee Celldweller, Blue Stahli and Tyrant of Death which overlap with industrial metal and rock quite a bit. Sorry for the essay. I also weirdly like mainstream rap lol

Jorvic52

Celldweller is pretty cool. I’m not very familiar with his catelog but I like his remix of [Filth Friends Unite](https://youtu.be/Y_fX5OvRnyU?si=l5PPXkOhhI3gC3ro) by I See Stars.

neglected_bookmark28

My top artists are While She Sleeps, Holding Absence, Dance Gavin Dance and Taylor Swift But I also love Bad Omens, I Prevail, BMTH, Architects, Too Close To Touch... honestly there are too many to name ❤

Altruistic-Cancel834

HOLDING ABSENCE 😁 only reason I went through every comment to see if they had been mentioned

AdvancedPlatypus195

TAYLOR SWIFT 😲 Another one like me lolzz, hello there! I love Bad Omens, they're my top favorite band. And I haven't listened to much While She Sleeps and Dance Gavin Dance, but I liked the songs I've heard so far. Do you listen to The Plot In You and Imminence too? 🥹🖤❤️

neglected_bookmark28

Yayyy are you in the swifties/sleep token group in facebook? I just found it and it's amazing 😍 I've heard some The Plot in You, and I really enjoy their stuff honestly. Never really listened to Imminence but have heard of them 😊

AdvancedPlatypus195

I don't have Facebook, so I'm not in that group... But Imminence! 😍 You need to watch [this](https://youtu.be/Yf5U6XhuZKc?si=c9FuasZVcey-sbDj) by them, you'll fall in love. And after that, listen to their latest album, "The Black" 🖤

neglected_bookmark28

I will have a look! Thanks! 🖤🖤

xXx-swag_xXx

Used to listen to a lotta emo rap. Also listen to some indie pop and stuff like that, metalcore, math rock and alt rock, some hyperpop, and most types of EDM other than dubstep. My top 5 artists are Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance and Bring Me The Horizon but I listen to everything from 5 Seconds of Summer to Palaye Royale

Jorvic52

Panic! At the disco use to be my favorite! I was absolutely obsessed with them in highschool. Sleep token is the most I’ve actually been into a band since when I was obsessed with Panic!

_xomad_

Me too! They were the cornerstone for my whole music taste and snowballed me into all sorts of alt/emo/metal goodness😁

Jorvic52

Same for me. Started with Panic! Then got into All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Black Veil Brides that whole lot.

dreamniffler

SpecialistAd1090

Mostly Muse. Scrolling through my recently listened I've also got Dry The River, Adele, and some musical soundtracks (Moulin Rouge, Sweeney Todd and Little Shop of Horrors). Genres are typically alt/prog/hard rock, pop, and r&b. Went hard on the musicals this week for some reason.

w0wnerd

Kinda vague but I just like music that elicits an emotion. That’s different for everyone but I mainly listen to rock music, metal and a lot of the sub-genres. I really like R&B, worship music, some country..

EnbyQueerDeity

I have a very expansive list of artists from different genres lol but I'm heavy into the AFROPUNK movement and a metal head in general. Some of my faves from other genres are Ho99o9, Skunk Anansie, Tamar-kali, Judas Priest, X-Ray Spex, Sex Pistols, Bob Marley, Black Sabbath, Sade, Erykah Badu, SZA, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Kehlani, Kendrick Lamar, J. getsloadsbykyle7

Everything. I go in spurts with different genres. Love Zeppelin. Fleetwood Mac. Fall Out Boy. the Used. I’m a Swiftie. BSB & the like. Jason Derulo. Rihanna. Sam Hunt. Morgan Wallen. Polyphia.

trash_it_0

I listened to EDEN a ton before I found Sleep Token, including the old Eden Project stuff. I have expanded my music taste after finding ST though, they're the reason I now listen to bands like Bad Omens.

lunarecl1pse

I listen to all kinds of stuff. Mostly all kinds of rock and some rap. BMTH, Corpse Husband, Kim Dracula, Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, KAMAARA, Savage Ga$p, Disturbed. But I'll even listen to some kpop like K/DA or BTS. Some country like Blake Shelton or Johnny Cash. I'm pretty polyjamorous tbh

Jorvic52

Thank you! This was something I thought about doing.

Rhombus942

I like Motown-era music, "new retro," indie / alternative, rock, jazz, and a good many other things. Gotten into metal more recently. Sleep Token checks multiple boxes!

Eden_Vessel

I listen to A LOT of 80s and retro synthwave most of the time when I’m not listening to metalcore or 90s rock/grunge

TinyJaw

Me toooo. I feel a bit lost in this crowd bc ST is my anomaly. I can’t get into most modern metal. I’ve been mostly into darkwave the last few years. Boy Harsher is one of my faves.

Eden_Vessel

Been listening to synthwave for years but the last few months I really got so much into it that I steered away from listening as much to other music. My top fav are timecop1983, The Midnight, At 1980, Siamese Youth and a bunch more.

scottwmd

Periphery, the used, dance gavin dance, taking back sunday, in flames, spiritbox, Trippie redd, machine gun kelly, blink 182, between the buried and me, nothing.nowhere, $uicideboy$, phoebe bridgers, lamb of god, many many more… Edit: Sleep Token is my current obsession. I listen to music all day, and lately it’s been about 80% ST and the above bands take up the other 20%. Can’t get enough ST!!!!!

No_Cartographer_6777

Imminence - also rips your heart out and puts it in a stake outside your front door. Bury Tomorrow, BMTH, Bad Omens, Lorna Shore, Northlane, Spiritbox

Klutzy_Ad_1726

Prog metal, metalcore, hip hop, country.

kilgorepelvis

while i do listen to some other genres, i mostly stay within the realm of rock. the killers, taking back sunday, the warning, paramore.

Redacted_Journalist

A lot of dance/house/IDM. Boards of Canada, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Lone, Machinedrum, Shadow Child, Jimmy Edgar, Basement Jaxx, and I'm sure I'm missing some others... I'm also a fan of UK Hardcore, JAKAZiD is another one of my favorite producers. I'm also partial to a lot of stuff coming from Japan- Pa's Lam System, AMUNOA, tofubeats, Carpainter, etc

Silly-Scene6524

Rush, Tesseract, Dream Theater, Turbulence, Advent Horizon, Unprocessed, Caligulas Horse…a sample.

BanananaCentral

Indie and alternative mixed with other genres are apparently my top, but I listen to almost anything

Queenfan44354

I listen to mainly punk and metal. Bands like bad religion, Green Day, surprise privilege, some hardcore stuff on the punk side and on the metal I’m into a lot of different thrash bands and deathcore. More recently I’ve gotten really into Hozier

chente08

Mainly rock from the 80’s and 90’s

SciFlyZ

Morgan wallen, Lorna shore, knocked loose and polyphia are my main other favorites 🩵

NataliaHSubiabre

BUCK-TICK is my favorite band of all time (have been since I was 14; 20 years ago). They had the same members since 1987 (the vocalist passed away at the end of last year), and had done whatever they wanted with their music/genres. They consistently released new albums during their long career and they have multiple callbacks, easter eggs and well-researched lyrics in their discography. When I first started to listen to Sleep Token earlier this year - I needed something to help fill the whole in my heart that the passing of Sakurai left -, I thought on how similar both bands were in certain aspects. I highly recommend you to give them a try, they have many many many songs (23 albums!). I always link to this amazing Youtube video ([The Evolution of BUCK-TICK: 1987-2020](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASZqv59KvaQ)). I thank Sleep Token for helping me through the loss of someone who is as important to me as Atsushi Sakurai is.

Jorvic52

I checked them out. Not really my jam but very interesting. Definitely got the genrebending.

CowardlyKitsune

I listen to everything. Some favorites include jazz fusion, Brazilian jazz, kawaii future bass, metalcore/deathcore, and j-pop

snow_rogan

A real mix: 1975, Fred Again, BMTH, Arctic Monkeys, Kanye, Ice Nine Kills, Polaris, MCR I like a lot of genres, and I feel like in each genre there's usually a defining band that brings(/brought) a new, unique sound. Sleep Token is definitely that band for progressive music, BMTH for Metalcore, Fred Again for dance music - etc

TokenofDreams

my top artists are the killers, MCR, royal blood, abba and taylor swift i kind of jump between darker music and lighter music depending on my mood

elektroesthesia

Lots of metal (Bad Omens, Fallujah, Make Them Suffer, Lorna Shore, and Dayseeker are some top favs), love dark rap (Grim Salvo, Istasha, Kaamara, Ethan Ross), like some other rap too (NF being a big one), synthwave (The Midnight, Dance with the Dead, Michael Oakley, Gunship, Starcadian), EBM (One True God especially), ambient (Eternal Dystopia, Svlbrd, 58918012), neofolk (Wardruna, Heilung, Eivor, Myrkur, Sowulo). I have audio-tactile synthesthesia (I feel sounds) so there is usually something in most genres I can get into.

IronMermaiden

Mostly hardcore, and metal. Hardcore reccs: Suicide File, Modern Life is War, Outbreak, Ceremony, Blacklisted, Verse, Knocked Loose, Dillinger Escape Plan, Bane, Have Heart, Ruiner, The Carrier, Dead Swans, Single Mothers, American Nightmare, Architect. Metal reccs: Worm Shepherd, Alcest, Doomriders, Red Fang, Alabama Thunderpussy, Kvelertak, Kylesa, Baroness, Converge, Neurosis, Old Man Gloom, ISIS, Pig Destroyer, Magrudergrind, Nails, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Angelmaker. Enjoy. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

SCO_IDK123

Ive been getting into jazz fusion, Casiopea and Taeko Onuki mainly

0palescent_

I listen to many genres, but mostly dubstep. Some of my favorite artists are Laufey, Everen Maxwell, Agente.001, Artisan, and Kinneret!

brenna_areli

I’m all over the place when it comes to music. Recently I’ve been really into rock/metal but I like other languages so I’ve also been listening to some Turkish and Thai stuff among others. I think my favorite artists besides Sleep Token right now are probably ATEEZ, Bad Omens, Amira Elfeky, Kim Dracula, and Ethel Cain. Special mention Tilly Birds is a good Thai band and I’ve been listening to Turkish artists Anil Emre Daldal and Edis. Edit: I will say 95% of the time I am listening to Sleep Token tho

Ethel_Fam

Favourites are Enter Shikari, Run the Jewels, Architects, Stray From The Path, Don Broco, Kendrick Lamar, Idles, Twenty One Pilots, Nothing But Thieves

Salty_Aardvark1026

Ghost, Deftones, Linkin Park (early era), Korn, Ten 56, Priest, Machine Gun Kelly, Rammstein, Lindemann, Emigrate.

ndork666

Deftones, Spiritbox, Bad Omens, Knocked Loose, Loathe, Show Me the Body, Lorna Shore

EconProsCons_24

In terms of “listen”, I listen to all genre. But I am mostly into Emo, Prog, and Alt Rock. I love Incubus, Polyphia, Chon, Saosin, Breaking Benjamin, Circa Survive, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Urbandub (a filipino band), Electric Callboy, and Mayday Parade. I love the Punk Goes series. As for other genre, Ed Sheeran, Daniel Caesar (Freudian top tier), Silk Sonic, BTS (influenced by wifey), Calvin Harris, some Dua Lipa songs.

Jorvic52

Yes! Love me some Mayday Parade

ihatethisfuuuuck

What I mostly listen to is shit like the crane wives, the oh hellos, the amazing devil, poor mans poison and daughter so quite different from ST lmao But sometimes I throw some rock, metal or "cunty" stuff in

PoorChicken04

Every genre of metal except black I'll listen to, I'm not really selective

ThatGothBi7tch

Ghost mainly

Altruistic-Cancel834

Mostly rock and metal like Holding Absence, Normandie, Dayseeker, Caskets, Foxblood, 36 Crazyfists and Lorna Shore. I’m also partial to pagan/folk like Wardruna, Heilung, Kalandra, OMNIA and Faun. Also, acts like Andre Rieu and Louis Armstrong will never be turned down

boombewmTV

It's funny because I listen to rap mainly, Offset, 21 Savage, but ST is sick!

Kruemelbacke

Progressive/Death/Metalcore/Djent/Fusion: After the Burial, Animals as Leaders, Intervals, Plini, Periphery, Oceans ate Alaska, TesseracT, Unprocessed, Skyharbor

TastyCan5388

Hmm the bands I listen to most outside of ST would probably be Alpha Wolf, Hollywood Undead, Ghost, and some smaller groups/independent artists.

Shotymcwowo22

Recently electric callboy. They scratch an itch I didn't know I had lol

savethisplanetnow

I make House, Techno, RNB and Metalcore but my Spotify playlist is so random. I usually like songs for their vocals so I have a big assortment from pop, rnb, metalcore, country, hip hop but I also love vocal less melodic stuff like video game music and orchestral stuff. That’s why I dig Sleep Token, the vocals inspired me to learn to sing better.

Jorvic52

Yes. I’m in a similar boat. Vocals are usually the main thing I’m drawn to. Vessels Vocals and the general energy in The Summoning are what drew me in. There are so many songs out there that I love the general sound of but I can’t get past the vocals.

Over_Development127

Polaris, Wolves at the gate, Bad Omens, Movements, Imminence, Spiritbox, Loathe, Alter Bridge, Greta van Fleet and a lottt more

Available_Ant_8782

The fact that Britney Spears is in your top 5 I love 😂😂 Keepin it random!! I can’t give you a top 5 because if music was a personality I’m for sure schizophrenic… but there’s a lot of Mac Miller, lots of 90’s rock/alternative (Nirvana, FF, 311…), lots of rap… shit gets weird 😂

Tatum_21

i love edm as well! my favorite is definitely subtronics and sara landry

TheBurdmannn

Polyjamorous af. All the way from George Straight and any 2000s Country; to BigXthaPlug and ThatMexicanOT and any mix of HTown rap and r&b; to Currents, Memphis May Fire, Deftones and Sevendust. I'll throw some Hamilton or Wicked songs in the mix just for my gf because she loves musicals, and these are the only 2 I know by heart. My only rule is that whatever is on, it has to sound well put together. Top 5 outside of Sleep Token though? Sevendust Alice in Chains (These 2 bands got me into metal and heavier music on ATV: Offroad Fury) Currents (saw them open for Memphis and Parkway and have been hooked ever since) BigXthePlug ("Texas" is just hard af) George Straight (Always found some sort of connection in his songs)

Godlythwoo

I listen to mainly djent and progressive metalcore, my all time favourite band is periphery but very closely followed by sleep token. I also love volumes and erra, but I also love the punk rock band sum 41.

DJRMB

Adventure Club are huge Sleep Token fans. I’ve heard them drop Sleep Token samples in their sets. To answer your question I’m also a big edm guy. Was big into dubstep for a long time but lately I’ve been into house (John Summit, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake etc.)

ThatDorkEden

I tend to listen to Bad Omens, Bring Me the Horizon, Catch Your Breath, Pierce The Veil, and so many more. I guess I tend to stay in the rock category but sometimes I do change it up. I bounce genres a lot though. :3

CaffeinatedCain

My other favorite current bands/artists are The 1975, Dance Gavin Dance, The Contortionist, Chase Atlantic, Brakence, The Weeknd, etc. I listen to so much but those have been my big repeats listens for the past few years aside from Sleep Token

RelativeMistake9534

I listen to a little bit of everything. Mostly rap, country, rock. Sleep Token is the first band or artist to really sweep me off my feet so to speak. One song led to another and I was enamored. Haven't felt the feelings I get from listening to Sleep Token from any other artist for as long as I can remember. I skip around a lot but I never skip Sleep Token.

Ringleader705

I'm pretty big on Slipknot but I'm honestly pretty polyjamorous- if I hear a song that makes me do a lil dance then I'm happy no matter its genre.

Lokie-Dokie

Bilmuri, Ghost Atlas, Architects, Slipknot, Kublai Kahn, Eidola mostly

Hank_lliH

Tool

sweetsoutherngrl78

sleep token has been my new all time fav now since my daughter introduce them to me over a year ago we went to louder than life last September just to see them they are FUCKIN amazing live and I pray that one day we will get to see them live at the the Royal Albert Hall in London with the Orchestra that is my dream . my all time fav band was korn I grew up with them and Metallica but metal and rock and I ev3n listen to rap hip hop alil bit of country and even some oldies like the temptations but since ive been listening to sleep token their whole discography is on repeat I havent listened to anything else

Lore_Beast

I would actually kill for a Ghost collab

Jorvic52

That would be really cool! My best friend is a huge ghost fan and is going with me to Dallas. it would be combining our 2 favorites if they did the colab.

MoreVarigation

Honestly, most of the music I actively listen to falls within the electronic music genre. But mostly uplifting trance, psytrance, deep house, and industrial techno. I listen to a broad range of music, but I usually circle back around to electronic music. I love Above and Beyond, Prydz (and Cirez D), Tinlicker, Black Asteroid, Simon Patterson are my top favs atm.

MaggieDean24

Rock. Metal. Metal core. Nu Metal. And alt. Are the main genres. I do love alt pop too though. Top other bands are starset, linkin park, Florence and the machine, bad omens, in this moment, and motionless in white. Although slaughter to prevail and artitects are Awesome too. I also love ozzy and the scorpians.

I listen to a lot of bands in a lot of genres- Indie/Alternative, Rock, Metal, RNB, Jazz, Reggae, EDM, etc. So depending on which genre I’m cycling determines my current favorites. Sleep Token has taken over like 50-75% of my music, even after 6 months since discovering them.. maybe it’s cause they combine influences from majority of the genres I like XD But some of my favorite bands rn beside Sleep Token are Nothing But Thieves, TØP, The Blue Stones, King Gizzard & the Wizard Lizard, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Muse, PVRIS, Bad Omens, Polyphia, Spiritbox, Nevertel, Paramore, Tame Impala, Cage the Elephant, Alt J, Glass Animals, Broken Bells, Hozier… I could go on but those are the ones on the top of my head lmao Edit: Looking at the comments, I love that a lot of us are PolyJAMorous XD

Yeah, they're music is alright but have you heard these: Prince (Funk) Andy C, Dillinja, Hype and Hazard (they're on par with each other) (Drum and Bass) The Tesky Brothers (Soul/Country) Machel Montano (Trini Soca) anything and everything by Hans Zimmer

_Lemonsex_

Muse, Twenty One Pilots, Linkin Park, MCR, Space Laces, EDEN, AFI.... The list could go on

its1995

I listen to a lot of stuff, but right now I'm on a metalcore kick. If Not For Me is a really good band I recommend them! I also listen to k-pop (more r&b leaning) and rap and hip hop. Also a HUGE fan of dubstep haha.

_linesuz_

Mostly Deathcore and Hardcore. Especially Darko US, Paleface, Get The Shot and Face Yourself. But sometimes I really enjoy some Metalcore as well. Like Polaris and Axty.

HalocraZze

I love I See Stars too :) Before getting as into ST as I am now, my favorites were Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park (always), Bad Omens, All Time Low, Imminence, Papa Roach and We Are The Emergency. Although there's millions of other bands and I actually can't decide :D

Workitharder

I go through fases. For the last 4 months its mostly been metal/rock. Bad omens, bring me, asking, ghost, MiW, BVB, spiritbox etc. But like a year ago i mostly listened to country. I was kinda emo when i was a teen and listened to all the great "emo" bands, which is mostly metal/rock. So i have kinda gone back to my teens now.

VelvetVVitch

HIM, Hozier, Type O Negative, $uicideboy$, Ethel Cain, Seether, Doja Cat, Deftones

No_Dress9765

Isis, Tool, Cult of Luna in that order.

AnnoyingSquish

my music taste is just kind of a jumbled together mix of all the stuff i listened to in the last few years tbh but nowadays, im very into ghost, avatar, system of a down, lorna shore, plagues, black sabbath, powerwolf, sabaton, iron maiden... and outside of metal, lots of modern electronic (scenecore? indie pop? i honestly dunno what to call it) like 6arelyhuman, odetari, kets4eki, asteria, d3r... not for everyone but i love it 😵‍💫

Azytrex

Mix of everything but rn mostly rnb and jazz. Luke chiang, joji, Keshi, dennis van Aarsen anyone with great vocals honestly

lipsticklullabye

MAKARI!

uncomfortable_Peach1

Mostly Metalcore, Rap, New Metal, Drum & Bass & some Pop/Rock/Electronic

FlamingoHMR

Metalcore like Loathe and the Contortionist but also varying degrees of Midwest emo and Pop Punk. Within that it’s bands like The Story So Far and Free Throw

fskarild

Soul brother

Nemisaro1

Mostly indie stuff, Briston Maroney, Dr Dog, Saint motel, other than that like Suicide boys, I’m kinda all over the place tbh. Was a big MCR kid and I think sleep token is kinda that evolved for me

Party_Airlines

Generally, anything but Country. Top five: Bowie, Radiohead, Fugazi, Architects, and of course, the requisite blind devotion to all things Chino. ST pushes the envelope like Bowie and Radiohead, and I respect that constant evolution. If the trilogy is truly over, the next album/era should be something unexpected.

One_Cup6455

$uicideboy$ and Billie

LisLis_tree

Mostly other rock and alternative music: Bad Omens, Twenty One Pilots, BMTH, IPrevail, From Ashes to New, Yungblud, Poppy, Linkin Park,... Sometimes I listen to german Indie Pop/Hyperpop/rap and austrian folk music... but let's not talk about that hahaha
