Ganondorf + Mac unironically sounds pretty good. Warlock Straight Lunge would be a terrifying approach tool to attempt punishing. Haymaker + Flame Choke having a hitbox that moves in an arc means snatching people who are slightly off the ground. I don't know how you'd fuse Warlock Kick and Counter, but I think giving Warlock Kick projectile reflection while active would be in the spirit of things. Vertical recovery still kinda awful even if you fuse Dark Dive with Rising Uppercut, but being able to use it out of Side B like Mac would be really helpful. Otherwise, good tilts with high knockback, stupidly unfair smash attacks, mediocre but functional aerials, and an above average but not crazy dash speed.

Also his recovery is STILL trash! 😄

Knuckles would have the same up+B spring jump as Sonic and would have spin dash but he wouldn’t have the homing attack for B, instead he would charge forward at you flying forward with his fists out kind of like Charizard. His combos would be punching combinations like a boxer 🥊 and he would have a windup punch like Donkey Kong. He would be a step slower than Sonic, maybe a top 5-10 character in speed but not #1. He would be a middle/ heavy weight character and would hit harder.

This is going to be a fucking amalgamation, I can tell you that much.

Mac & Sonic, the best of both worlds. Now i can play rushdown sonic better and actually recover as well😈. I’m unstoppable… apart from the fact i have no projectiles or several disjoints. Eh, still great. Great Edgeguarding, Great Recovery, High Damage Smash Attack Punishes, Quite Good Grounded Moves, Great Aerials, High Mobility, Far Wall Jump, & has an insanely mixable recovery, since yk: combined. The only Weakness I could possibly see, is this:

Roy with Hero's down B would be funny as fuck. Hero's normals though are all terrible, so generally the only ones I wouldn't mind giving up would be down smash in terms of normals. Getting hero's neutral b and down b would be a godsend, mayyybe up b (just thinking of all the cool plat setups you could do) but roy up b is p good. But Roy with oomph, psyche up, accelerate? Yeah ggs

Oh cool, a spiked heavyweight gorilla that's the fastest character with really fast, heavy-hitting attacks and lots of combos as well as a good recovery and great burst movement options? I can only imagine a DK-Sonic combo character that has no problem going offstage to secure their opponent's stock at like 20% with a nair and being able to recover without breaking a sweat.

A hybrid of Sonic and King Dedede would combine the insane ground speed and hit & run gameplay of Sonic but with the sluggish air speed and obviously heaviness as Dedede. A super heavyweight that has one of the best burst options and a strong projectile is a match made in heaven since Sonic's attributes can outweigh Dedede's flaws with now Sonic being able to hit like a truck.
