Former Foot Locker manager here: employees receive very little training, if any, on how to spot fakes. Returns are handled by managers or assistant managers who are trained in store management, inventory controls, sales techniques, and a bit of HR stuff (mostly how to fill out new hire paperwork). In my entire time as a manager-in-training, about two minutes was spent on the subject of fakes and it came down to, unless it's really obvious, just take the return and let the district manager look into it if need be.
Honestly just looks like a regular pair, I've checked like 5 preview pictures for comparison and they were all a little different. Then thought back to the Jumpman on all my pairs and they're a little different. For a while like the Animal 2 J3 Nike was giving Jordan some real cake and for a while they gave him a toothpick dunking arm like on some older J4s. On this pair, the Jumpman looks pretty normal.

Based on just that stitching though? I have right and left shoes straight from Nike that arent perfect matches. Mass produced product, not super surprised its not perfect.

Well, There are Unauthorized pairs tho. Meaning the factory workers or managers make extra of a shoe in the factory in using authentic materials and they are a part of the official stock numbers because the pairs werent supposed to be made. Instead the employees/managers sell them for money on the side because they make more doing that than they make actual working in the factory.
It's just classic Nike QC.
