I can't imagine it's easy to moderate all the comments, which is probably why they blanket ban, but it does suggest that they stop people commenting to pre-empt having to actually deal with inappropriate comments. No-one can do anything wrong, if no-one can do anything. Of course the image is left up so they're not accused of being prudes by not allowing images that, by upvotes are clearly very popular, but you end up with threads with thousands of upvotes, and no comments.

The issue at hand here is semantics, and the question of where the line is. To some people, it has to involve exposed breasts/genitals before it's considered indecent, for others it merely needs to be posed in a certain way and/or have exaggerated curves, and others can be anywhere in between. Because it differs from person to person, it's hard to achieve a full consensus; some will see this as fine because she's not nude, and others will see it as horny.

So given the artist will I properly not have much time to comment so let me just quickly say that I love how they lowered the saturation of Amy's pink to make her goth look hit even harder with no super bright colors to contrast the hard black of her cloths.
