I had held the opinion that Rogue One was superior to Andor until Luthen’s monologue after that I’m not sure there’s another moment in all of Star Wars that can hold a candle to it. It was the same feeling I got watching the OT as a kid.
This!
And I think it’s bc the story has allowed for original storytelling, great writers and compelling cinematography. Also it brings some serious ‘edge or grit’ to the SW universe
I want to say Andor and Rogue One, since I believe they are the best quality…but I could watch Clone Wars, specifically season 7, over and over again. Same with The Mandalorian seasons 1 & 2. I just love those shows so much!!
Toss up between Bad Batch and Andor. I know the old people adopting a child is getting old and cliche but I really liked the Batch and was satisfied with the ending we got
Honestly, before this season I really liked Bad Batch. But the art and direction for S3 was just on another level. Absolutely top-tier.
I also like that in the end, the story stayed true to its scale. The Batch had a lot of brushes with big-ticket things going on in the wider galaxy, but ultimately the main through line of the story stays very focused on them as a team. It was a very deft way to expand the lore without trying to make these characters too unnecessarily important
Andor and Rogue One. Highest quality content they've put out, even if it's different and not as Star Wars-y, I think it's still undeniable that it's the highest quality
Movies - Rogue One
Live Action Show - The Mandalorian (all seasons)
Animated Show - Tales of the Jedi
None of these would have happened if Disney didn't purchase Lucasfilm, and there's several very close runners up. I hate that a big, mean company owns the entertainment I like but that's capitalism.
Best movie is Rogue One. For series I’m gonna go with number of rewatches & Andor & Mando (s1 & s2) has been watched 3 times.
EDIT: I’ve watched Clone Wars 4 times but Disney+ only did the finale season & that has only been watched twice.
Out of the five films released so far, it's *Rogue One* and out of the TV shows that have aired so far, it's a three-way tie between *The Mandalorian*, *Andor* and *Tales*.
Movie: Rogue One.
Live Action TV Show: Andor (loved Mandalorian too).
Animated TV show: the Clone Wars (including it because of the season 7, Bad Batch was good too and really showed off their mastery of the artstyle).
Andor and The Last Jedi.
Also, I was pleasantly surprised by Ahsoka. I didn't like it nearly as much as Andor, but I liked it nonetheless. And I had been wanting Star Wars content to be set in a more, for lack of a better way to put it, fantasy-journey-friendly setting, which their situation on Peridia allows for. And which normally doesn't work when the tech to jump between solar systems exists.
For me it's real close between Andor and Mandalorian S1 and S2. I will note I am enjoying The Acolyte so far, which I think is far better than Book of Boba Fett or Obi Wan.
Be real curious to see if anyone picks a movie besides Rogue One. Whatever is second, it doesn't feel very close.
Andor by a large margin. Second tier is Rogue One and Force Awakens in a vacuum. Some of Mando seasons 1-2. Then a big drop off. Lowest tier is BoBF, Mando S3, and elements of TLJ and TROS. Too early to tell with Acolyte but it’s looking like a mixture of mid to low tier.
Ahsoka for me.
It's what STAR WARS is all about for me... Distant planets, mysterious villains, Lightsaber battles, and space magic. The sequence where Ahsoka chases/Fights Anakin is \*chefs kiss.
I'm still torn up that Ray Stevenson wont get to finish the arc that Baylan was set on.
and it makes me laugh to think Anakin's force ghost is hanging with Ahsoka doing some cool jedi shiz on the other side of the universe, while his grandson (Kylo Ren) is just talking to a melted mask in an empty room.
Obi wan. I don’t get the hate for it beside that one stupid chase scene, and not that much lukewarm skywalker. Maybe because hating it is the cool thing to do
Movie - Solo
Show - Andor
Rogue One is great but needed another pass through the editing room. The first act or two kinda drag and they don’t do a great job with all the character introductions. Amazing 3rd act however.
Rogue One and, As someone who loves Filoni's animations, I have them as the strong part of the shows, difficult to define between Rebels and Bad Batch.
Up front, I’m a Gen X-er who grew up rewatching the OT every summer. So…
Movie and TV:
Empire Strikes Back and Mandalorian.
Seconds are, not gonna lie,
Solo and Kenobi.
The Force Awakens and Andor, with special mention to Rogue One and Rebels (although I guess that wasn't technically Disney, but maybe the last couple of seasons where?)
Movie - Rogue One Show - Andor
I maintain that the best trilogy besides (and possibly including) the OT will be Andor S1 & S2 and Rogue One, at least for me.
I'm an OG fan.... honestly My SW is Andor -> RO -> OT. I'm pretty meh on most of the rest of it.
I had held the opinion that Rogue One was superior to Andor until Luthen’s monologue after that I’m not sure there’s another moment in all of Star Wars that can hold a candle to it. It was the same feeling I got watching the OT as a kid.
My favorite part in Andor was the imperial prison story with Andy Serkis. So good.
100%
This! And I think it’s bc the story has allowed for original storytelling, great writers and compelling cinematography. Also it brings some serious ‘edge or grit’ to the SW universe
Yes
This is the only correct answer. I did like the first two seasons of the mandalorian
/thread
This
same
This is the way.

Same.
Andor. Hope S2 is on that same level
I hope it exceeds its level.
How do we exceed Peak? Is that scientifically possible?
Andor and Rogue One
Andor and Rogue One for sure. The Mandalorian is a solid 2nd place for series.
Same for me!
Rogue One and The Mandalorian. Love Andor as well.

Toss up between Bad Batch and Andor. I know the old people adopting a child is getting old and cliche but I really liked the Batch and was satisfied with the ending we got

Season 7 of Cone Wars and Bad Batch, especially the last season, really showed off that they have mastered that art style. It was astounding.
Andor and Rogue One. Highest quality content they've put out, even if it's different and not as Star Wars-y, I think it's still undeniable that it's the highest quality
Movie - the original Star Wars Live Action series- the Mandalorian Animated - Rebels
the op's question was re: Disney star wars shows and movies.
Guess I’m not alone…Rogue One and Andor.
Rogue 1 and Mando
It’s hard to beat Andor; it’s just a masterpiece. After that—I know I’m in the minority, but I lived Obi Wan.
I loved Kenobi too!! It wasn’t perfect, but I really enjoyed watching it, and enjoyed it even more the second and third watches.
I just can't get over how undignified Vader was in that show, like how he danced around while fighting Obi Wan.
Obi Wan was fantastic and it was so exhilarating to see the fans SHOW TF UP to the panel at SW Celebration
The Mandalorian
Clone Wars Season 7!
Rogue One for movie. Andor for tv show.
Andor by far.
Andor by light years
Andor, by 100 miles!!!!
Movie: Rogue One TV show: Andor
Andor, rogue one by a country mile
Andor
ANDOR.
Movie - Rogue one. Probably my favor Star Wars movie. On second is Episode 3 I think. Show - Andor.
yep you guessed it, Rogue One & Andor
The Mandalorian
Mesa thinking Mando Season 2
The Force Awakens I refuse to accept the rewritten history of people acting like that movie wasn’t absolutely beloved when it came out.
The mandalorian
Movies - Rogue One Live Action Show - The Mandalorian (all seasons) Animated Show - Tales of the Jedi None of these would have happened if Disney didn't purchase Lucasfilm, and there's several very close runners up. For Disney’s Star Wars productions, I would go with Rogue One and The Mandalorian.
Andor was great and Rogue One is my favorite movie. I enjoyed Solo as well, even though it has some issues I thought it was a fun watch.
Rogue One
Rogue One. Other than that, none.
The Clone Wars Season 7.
The Force Awakens and the Mandolorian for me
Rogue One and Ahsoka, but I've only just started Andor and it's very quickly flying up that list. The Acolyte has been very enjoyable so far as well.
Out of the five films released so far, it's *Rogue One* and out of the TV shows that have aired so far, it's a three-way tie between *The Mandalorian*, *Andor* and *Tales*.
Movie: Rogue One TV Show: Andor
Movie: Solo Show: Mando
Edited, after putting pre Disney movies. Rogue One and Andor.
OT's weren't made by Disney
My bad, misread, only human.
Nah it's fine, happens to everyone
Rogue One and Mandalorian (yes, also Season 3)
Movie: Rogue One Show: Rebels
Andor, it's not just the best Star Wars thing Disney has produced. It's the best Star Wars anything since The Empire Strikes Back.
It’s legitimately a masterpiece of a TV show, Star Wars or not.
Movie: The Last Jedi Show: Mando/Andor/Visions
Star Wars The Force Awakens and Andor are my favorites!
Of movies, The Force Awakens is my favorite. My favorite show has probably been The Mandalorian.
Movie - Solo: A Star Wars Story Show - Mandalorian
Movie: Rogue One. Live Action TV Show: Andor (loved Mandalorian too). Animated TV show: the Clone Wars (including it because of the season 7, Bad Batch was good too and really showed off their mastery of the artstyle).
Love Andor and Rogue one. Have to give a shout out to the final season of The Clone Wars.
Rogue One and Andor.
Movie- Rogue One Show-Bad batch/Andor
Rogue One and Andor are my favorite Star Wars, Disney or otherwise.
Rogue One. No contest.
Rogue one for sure and tv show is either andor or mando
Movie: Rogue one Show: Rebels
Clone Wars Season 7. Rebels is a close 2nd.
Bad batch
Bad Batch was great. This should definitely be higher. Props to Gonky.
Mando. Grogu is my boy
Andor, and it's not even close. Rogue One is great also.
Andor The Last Jedi
Andor and The Last Jedi. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by Ahsoka. I didn't like it nearly as much as Andor, but I liked it nonetheless. And I had been wanting Star Wars content to be set in a more, for lack of a better way to put it, fantasy-journey-friendly setting, which their situation on Peridia allows for. Rogue one is the best of all Star Wars media I've consumed. Best show is The Bad Batch.
The Last Jedi
Andor by a large margin. Second tier is Rogue One and Force Awakens in a vacuum. Some of Mando seasons 1-2. Then a big drop off. Lowest tier is BoBF, Mando S3, and elements of TLJ and TROS. Too early to tell with Acolyte but it’s looking like a mixture of mid to low tier.
Andor, Rogue One, but I also really enjoy certain arcs of clone wars like siege of mandalore.
Movie: The Force Awakens Show: Rebels and Andor
The Mandalorian.
Rogue One and Nothing Else (Haven't Seen Andor)
Movie is Rogue One Shows are Rebels, Andor, Bad Batch
Mandalorian. Give me more of that "baby yoda".
Movie - rogue one Tv show: final season of clone wars
Mando S1 far and away. Andor is great for sure but Mando S1 is just peak Star Wars joy.
Rogue One and the Mandalorian. Honestly really enjoyed Kenobi as well. Only big complaint was the Reva character and Leia being in it a bit too long
Rouge One and Ahsoka
Mando season 1. I reserve judgement on Andor until season 2 is out.
Andor. Just the best Star Wars related anything since the 70s.
Movie: Rouge One Show: S1&2 of Mando
Film: The Last Jedi TV: Rebels
Movie: Rogue One Show: Ahsoka Animated Show: Bad Batch
Movie: Rogue One Show: Rebels
The Lego Star Wars holiday special where Palpatine gets the "best emperor in the galaxy" mug.
"It's a wrap!"
Easily Rogue One. Nothing else really comes close.
Andor is the only thing I like
Favorite: rogue one Least favorite/worst: TLJ
The Last Jedi, Andor.
This thread is just going to be 500 replies of rogue one and andor Did it really need to be asked, this just feels like bait
Obi-Wan: I sense a trap. Anakin: Next move? Obi-Wan: Spring the trap.
The Last Jedi (don't at me) Andor
Movie. Empire (Rogue One close second). Show; Andor; OB1 close behind
The folks downvoting comments that say TLJ need to touch grass. "What do you like?" "This." "YOU'RE WRONG"
>touch grass Anyone that spews this buzzphrase is never, ever worth listening to.
Rebels
Movie - Rogue One Show - Rebels
Fave movie: Rogue One Fave TV show: Rebels. All because of the last season and the loss of you know who. It really hit me hard for some reason.
Movie - Rogue One Show(s) - Andor and Rebels, I like The Acolyte a lot as well.
*The Last Jedi*
Andor obviously but want to say that The Acolyte is great so far.
Andor and Force Awakens.
Overall, Mandalorian. But, some of my favorite moments are from Obi-Wan.
Maybe a little recent bias, but Bad Batch
The Last Jedi and Andor.
Andor and Bad Batch. So much intrigue for me in the Height of The Empire era
Anything with Grogu in it
Movie: Rogue One Live action show: Ahsoka Animated show: Rebels
Mando season 1
Obi wan. I don’t get the hate for it beside that one stupid chase scene, and not that much lukewarm skywalker. Maybe because hating it is the cool thing to do
>hating it is the cool thing So why isn't it cool to hate Andor or Mando?
I enjoyed it, my brother didn't. I was just so happy to see McGregor back that anything else that didn't quite work in the plot I forgot all about 😂
The costume design is horrible and the story focuses way to much on reva
I don’t get the costume part but too much focus on Reva was stupid
The inquisitors look like normal humans in face paint not aliens
Animation - Rebels, Visions Live-action - Rogue One, Andor, Mandalorian (s1, 2)
Movie: RoTS or Rogue One Show: TCW (and it’s not even close)
Return of the Jedi. I was in elementary or middle school when it came out so it was very special and I liked that "the good guys won."
Video Game:KOTOR 1&2, Jedi Knight-Jedi Academy, Battlefront 2 the first one.
The Phineas and Ferb crossover episode. No I’m dead serious.
Movie - Solo Show - Andor Rogue One is great but needed another pass through the editing room. The first act or two kinda drag and they don’t do a great job with all the character introductions. Amazing 3rd act however.
Movie Andor 100% mandelorian tv show
Revenge of the sith
Mandalorian and Star Wars visions By far the best content made under them
Rogue One and, As someone who loves Filoni's animations, I have them as the strong part of the shows, difficult to define between Rebels and Bad Batch.
The Clone Wars, masterpiece of a show.
Show - Clone Wars Film - Solo
Up front, I’m a Gen X-er who grew up rewatching the OT every summer. So… Movie and TV: Empire Strikes Back and Mandalorian. Seconds are, not gonna lie, Solo and Kenobi.
The Force Awakens and Andor, with special mention to Rogue One and Rebels (although I guess that wasn't technically Disney, but maybe the last couple of seasons where?)
Is bad batch considered to be made by disney?
Rouge One (one of the best). Also include the Mandolorian, Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, Han Solo, Andor, and Rise of Skywalker.
Ahsoka. I got Disney+ just for that show. I'll probably get rid of Disney+ after Season 2, if they don't have a Season 3.
Show: Obi wan Kenobi Movie: Rogue One
Movie: Rogue one Series: Obi-Wan Kenobi
The Force Awakens followed really close by Rogue One.
Movie would be Rogue One. TV Show would be Mandalorian S1. Only 1 episode of that season is bad.
Bad batch and andor are peak star wars Honorable mention to live action clone wars and force ghost anakin in ahsoka
Rogue One Phineas and Ferb Star Wars
Revenge of The Sith + Andor
Tales of the Jedi/Sith
Movie - The force awakens Show - Mandalorian
Andor and it's not close.
Movie: Rogue one Show: Rebels
Does season 7 of Clone Wars count
Either Rebels or The Mandalorian.
