Yea, I asked in their discord server and apparently they are disbanding. But they said that some parts of flame might remain and might rebrand. But no official announcement as to what exactly is going to happen to them. Ig we will have to wait and see.
I dont, but usually scan teams disbanding is bcs they're not generating enough income to sustain their expenses. Example being adblocks, lack of donations, other sites stealing their scanlations. The last one is the worst, imo. They're losing traffic and possible income generated (mostly thru ads) bcs of it and ironically, those sites generally show up first on search results which also contribute to people not going to the scan site

If you want to show your support you can buy copies of the other two season and for eternal force, you can invest money/coins in the app webtoon, they are late in the release schedule but you can support them anyway
You can buy online physical copy, any store that sells books or just search for manga shops you will find them, you can buy via amazon for example jungle juice physical copy volume 1 is 20 dollars, and manga is more expansive 15-25 dollars per chapter is physical copy

Y'all have been absolute TOXIC about this work and complained about it's quality. If this was something that you paid for, you'd be justified in being unhappy. But if you get it for free, and it doesn't meet your standards, blasting it online is trashy.

It would be akin to hating how someone ended a novel, or blaming an author for delays. They owe you nothing. A lot of people argue that when you start a story and you have an audience that they’re obligated to finish it. Basically they’re entitled, when you buy a book you bought the book not the authors future time to finish it or anything else.

If you want a free way to support, just liking the released chapters on the Naver Webtoons app helps the author in the algorithm and indirectly will get him more views/money as well.
The amount of views and likes are real KPIs that he can bring to his editors/publishers in negotiating conversations.

I always thought, scanlation-sites should have a one-click button to compensate the author. I think most people will not have problem donating a buck or so, if they know it goes to the author directly. What won't happen is that they pay to illegal scanlation and aggregate sites that just stuff the money in their own pocket.
Their server crash. I was reading manhua and the pictures load very slow. Should be due to overload of cpu. Good business that cause server overload. so I am expecting they are changing to a better server specification.

DMCA took the site down. A total of 367 sites were or are going to be hit by it (with most of them being aggregators). This is due to a Subpeona to cloudflare submitted by “WEBTOON Entertainment Inc.”

I know the last couple of days have been hectic. I’d like to thank you for your patience with all the changes and announcements so far.
After a lengthy discussion, we decided to go through a full rebrand process. Currently, we are setting up a completely new website and domain to transfer all the data, too. We will be rebranding with a new name: Flamecomics.
