I was at their first ever show (SoCal basement concert era) and Parker came out in a full-on Shrek outfit with green body paint. Halfway through the show he ripped off his tunic and sure enough- he was green all over. They quit doing that because the paint was giving him allergic reactions. And their drummer HATED being forced to wear the Donkey outfit. He would stop drumming or drum out of beat just to sabotage shows.
Fairly certain that in one of the only interviews they ever did back in 2011 Parker and Ryan both said that the name āUnder Soil and Dirtā was a reference to the swamp shrek lives in.
