Brutally honest, I think it's a terrible yoyo. Mine wobbles and vibes straight out of the box, it's large and bulky in the hands, the plastic is gloss and sticky... It plays okay but I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Save up some more money and get either, the Shooting Star if you want a dual responsive/unresponsive setup, or the Speedaholic XX if you're ready to jump straight into unresponsive.
Edit: maybe I'm just being a bit too harsh, but that's what I got for my money.
If you have the money in your pocket and you want to try it out then by all means go for it! They just released a couple of new colourways. For the price if you just want it as part of your collection then it would add to that, but as a player my experiences weren't good compared to other throws I have, I'd categorically say it's the worst yoyo I own.

Most people I know including me think it’s a really good plastic yoyo. The people at yoyofriends are also really nice people and if you get a bad one (which is unlikely) just message them they will get back to you quickly and send you a new one.
I'm a noob but for what it's worth... I got mine about 2 months ago and I've been really happy with it!
(As I said I'm a noob so only comparison i can make is to a yy-factory velocity and a Henry's viper-neo)
Just got my first metal yoyo (MYY Y03 Hertz) the jury is definitely still out since I didn't have much play time yet but I might just like the plastics better too 🙄

Were i live those are only 5usd more expensive than the yoyofrieds one. So that's well worth the difference imo.
If you really want to venture out...check out the forums or some BSTs and try to find a delrin throw or something. While the plastics currently that are currently on the market now are really good, there's just something special about a really well made delrin like YYF Severe or some of Crucials throws.

From what I hear it’s fine but not great and because it’s injection molded and not machined it tends to be vibey.
Speedaholic XX and FX are high quality options. I prefer the speedaholic xx over a shooting star by far.
Plastic you want the Dove, not the aoe.
It's crap. Even responsive play sucks. The atom smasher is even better and that's saying a lot. But the rest of yoyofriends products are top notch.

Great choice, good playing yoyo and very comfortable too.
Nice. But in the future, check the yoyo stats more. 63 grams is generally too light for a plastic. But it's got a great feel and plays good.
