Them insurance vultures are gonna swoop in and go “missing mirror? That’s a 500 dollar part, so we’re deducting 500 dollars from your check.”
I had a corvette get totaled because of a hurricane, and those fuckers nickeled and dimed everything. Crack in the gas door? -150 bucks. Curb rash on a wheel? -500 bucks. Insurance companies will only fuck you, and on the flimsiest of reasons.
My jeep got totaled a couple years ago, parked in front of my house. Had 15k worth of upgrades for it. Insurance adjuster told me I could keep whatever I wanted off it before the wrecker took it, as long as it didn’t affect the ability to drag it onto a truck. Ymmv
Found a coyote 5.0 mustang at a pick and pull once. Someone had removed the coyote and literally dropped an old blown Windsor 302 in there. Absolute madlad swapped a 10k (at the time) engine with a blown up $250 anchor.
To be fair, insurance covers the vehicle as the contract see it which is usually whatever factory was. Upgrades has never raised the value of the vehicle unless you get it reappraised by the insurance company.
Depends on your insurance company. I was given full credit minus depreciation on all my parts. Tires and wheels, step bars, exhaust. USAA all the way 👊
It’s going to be on their insurance….but the issue he’s talking about is, he’s not going to get replacement value, and have to get another truck. One that he’ll have to trick out again
This truck should have insurance to cover it. It is OP insurance carriers responsibility to get the proper value for the damage. Further, if responsible party ins doesn’t have enough to cover, it is likely OP has underinsured/uninsured motorist coverage that would apply.
Sure. I have all of the above. The guy that hit me theoretically has insurance. He said he had “just switched” and didn’t his proof of insurance with him. So he got slapped with a $1000 ticket for that. Big incentive for him to call the insurance money in to the cop right away. I have decent insurance myself - but this is still going to be an ugly fight to get the value met. AND. I don’t want the freaking money. I want the truck I had. Sigh. And no- sorry guys- can’t have pieces of my beloved truck. No fighting over scraps.
i feel for you bud, i had a 2015 f150 that i adored, had it set up finally the way i wanted, had just put bilsteins on with the front level, $2300 in new tires, $800 on tints, $1200 on paint correction, detail and ceramic. tires had 365 miles on them and BAM!! i get rear ended at a red light by a fucking kia forte!! dude never slowed down, hit me doing over 60mph, mine was the right rear, damage looks very similiar, fucker hit me so hard he blew the window of of the cab and i fractured a vert in my neck.
he had "dollar a day" insurance, bare minium of $10,000 liability, my insurance total the truck due to the leaf spring mount being ripped from the frame.
it all worked out in my favor, i paid $25,500 for it in 2019 with 84k miles on it, it had 125k miles on it and was in absolute mint condition, geico paid out $39,800, as the adjuster said "great time to have a car totaled, bad time to buy" since it was august of the second year of covid.
came down to the same thing you said, i didnt want the money i wanted the truck fixed.
best of luck to you
If, for some reason, his insurance doesn’t come through, make sure your insurance covers it under uninsured/underinsured claim rather than collusion or comprehensive. They should do it automatically but sometimes they won’t. There’s usually a significant difference in deductible
I have a Tundra hard to replace as well. I also am an insurance agent. There is no way to get replacement costs. Have you seen the current retail of Tundras? Yikes
Absolutely insane market for Tundras. And I want my 5.7 engine and 38 gallon gas tank. ⛽️ Because with the gas mileage you NEED the bigger tank. My tranny cooler, stabilizers. Argh. I hate to be such a whiner but to be honest, I might as well just pay off my loan balance and buy a junker ford escort at this point. It doesn't make sense to spend MORE money to get a similar truck. And my loan is for 3 something %. No way to get that rate now. Yeah... I am just ranting. Sorry.
How does it not make sense to get another truck? You want another truck so it makes sense to get another truck no matter what it costs because it's something you want. Stop being a baby. Yeah it sucks but you'll get through it get a new truck and move on
It doesn’t make sense because he clearly doesn’t use the truck for it’s truck purposes, so he is getting a far more practical car for his needs. I think he would be a much bigger baby to keep forking out cash for a truck he doesn’t utilize to its fullest capabilities.
Just remember your insurance company has to use the Actual Cash Value of your vehicle
So no a dealer having the same truck listed for $5k more does not make yours worth 5k more
I’m just letting you know the truth now so that you don’t end up wasting your time + getting a racked up rental bill that no one covers
Source : an insurance adjuster so if you have questions let me know; i don’t handle total loss itself but it’s pretty self explanatory what they do
Your insurance will look at comps via a valuation company they use; we use CCC.
Now you need to look within 25-100miles (100 is stretching) that are for sale nearby
Make sure it’s Same year, make, model, options
It’s 4WD so that should help value but it’s also a double cab which are cheaper than crew cabs
Best of luck!
Yeah, thanks. I am aware I can't get replacement value. When I had a 25 year old Land Rover actual value was fine. Took the 6K my insurance company tossed me and bought my 2002 Toyota Sequoia for 6k out the door. Crazy huh? I think I bought that thing with 160k miles on it. Sold it 10 years later with 250k for 3000 cash and bought this Tundra brand new in March 2019. I ran a nationwide search on cars.com tonight and could not find a comparable Tundra for sale for less than 50k. Insanity.
Eff that! I’m older and I know that my proof of insurance is a few clicks away on my phone.
Dickheads like the guy who hit you are the reason my insurance for two 20+ year old “shit boxes” went from $78 a month in 2020 to $142 now. I may join the uninsured crowd with those two cars.
Also, USAA has gone to shit since then so that may affect things some.
No way. A lot of the time the buyback is 70% of value. Insurance companies use used parts now and the value of salvaged cars is crazy. I tried to buy an evo x with crazy frame damage and they wanted 28k$.
Body shop owner here. So this definitely needs a bed, rear end, suspension, rear bumper, tail light, a lot of misc clips and fasteners, and possibly some time on the frame rack. Frame damage does not mean total loss btw. File the claim with the at fault insruwnce of course and have to towed to your shop of choice. It does not have to go to their contract shop even when they say “we can’t guarantee quality, price, or time frame” neither can their contract shop. That shop will do tear down and measurements and write up a sheet and insurance will determine if it’s a total or not. I recommend my customers use auto-tempest.com to check market value of that exact truck. Kbb and nada have been inaccurate since Covid. I think there is enough value in this truck to repair it but we will know after tear down and measurements. If it totals you know actual market local value from auto-tempest.com so you know what to negotiate with them in the way of pay out to buy another truck. If it doesn’t total and they repair it file a diminished value claim with that insurance to compensate for the uh diminished value. Unfortunately don’t get in a rush on this becauee tundra body parts have been hard to come by
I can't believe I had to scroll this far to see a comment with some sense.
Yeah, it looks bad, but the impact missed the L frame frame rail and hit the axle instead. Those trucks break ubolts in hits like this all the time.
I definitely wouldn't bet on it totalling.
Lately tundra parts have been so scarce salvage value is way up on them so it may total before the state threshold but who knows. Needs measured and inspected. But this damage looks worse than it actually is in my opinion.
This is what a $50k truck? It will take over $25k in damages to total it. I finished a 2018 Denali half ton truck a few months ago identical to this but the damage went front to back. I think my final bill was $19k and didn’t total. Rear door, repair cab corner, bed, rear axle, all the suspension, rear bumper, powered step, and a lot of small stuff.
I am going to keep my fingers crossed. I just want to make sure the truck I get back is safe and has the same expected life span as the day I brought it home. Don't get me wrong...it is a TRUCK and I drive it into the desert and tow in the mountains and haul loads of wood and rock (and my dogs- which is why I needed the back seat, of course) in it. But my plan was for this to be my last major blow out vehicle purchase. Actually, it was also the first NEW vehicle I ever bought. Figured it would be the only brand new one, so I got exactly what I wanted while I had the sweet interest rate.
Thank you. Very helpful. I called my insurance agent when I heard the driver/truck murderer tell the cop he didn't have his proof of insurance with him. Called the Toyota dealer and asked what body shop they use. We had a really bad time trying to get our 4Runner repaired after hail damage a couple of years ago. 4 times into 2 different shops to get it not quite repaired correctly. So when the tow truck driver showed up looking for a Dodge he planned to tow to his buddies shop, he was less than thrilled to be directed to a body shop he doesn't get a kickback from. So that was $170 out of pocket to get towed 5 minutes from home.
You're going to need a whole heck of a lot of Duct tape and WD-40.
Frame is likely damaged, sue them. Settle for price of a replacement plus $9k. That's enough for a replacement and some mods.
“Settle for price of replacement plus $9k” Most insurers only pay book value and don’t care about what it will cost to replace. Adding an arbitrary $9k on top of that doesn’t fly with adjusters or courts. The best chance for claiming anything over book value is IF OP was in the truck at the time of the accident and suffered injury.
Sadly, this is a terrible time to be forced into replacing a totaled vehicle. Hopefully OP can be “Made Whole” but it’s going to be a tough fight.
This! And- although I am sure not upside down on a loan- I had a bloody 3% interest rate loan on this one. I wasn’t in the truck so no personal injury damages. Just property loss. And anger. Lots of anger.
He’s not at fault. He will be made whole if he presses for it. OP, find as many comps locally to you that are similar vintage and options, mileage. If you can’t find anything, get the closest comp you can to it. Do not accept first offer, say “thank you, but my XYZ package was well maintained and more valuable than that, and I found comps to support this valuation. Bonus points for any receipts for aftermarket upgrades. You can push it a couple times. They will bump it up. They are going after other insurance company for it, it’s not out of pocket for them. Stay reasonable, I got another 12.5K over the first offer from my insurer. Good luck! Lmk how it works out if you go that way.
Depending on circumstances, negotiations can be fruitful, but replacement cost plus $9K [simply isn’t a realistic expectation.](https://www.investopedia.com/articles/personal-finance/100215/how-car-insurance-companies-value-cars.asp)
Lol you get ACV of the vehicle plus 10 days of rental and that’s it. I hope the guy that cause the damage has enough coverage and didn’t hit anything else.
Plus 9 k. As an insurance adjuster I’d laugh in your face.
> settle for price of replacement plus 9k.
That’s not how it works. The trucks worth what it’s worth. That’s all OP will get.
He won’t get anything over value - but might get some rental cash out/loss of use. It won’t be 9k. Maybe a week or two tops.
A Navy buddy of mine just went through this the other day... His Ram 1500 in an empty parking lot with a fishing kayak strapped in the back.... A guy smashed into the rear of his truck, got out of the car and took off on foot... He walked out to find the wreck, called 911...cops ran the plate, called the guy's wife... She showed up, called the guilty husband and screamed at him to get his dumbass back... He showed back up and was then arrested.
Didn’t run. Couldn’t. Killed his own car by sticking it into the side of my truck. Well he could have walked away since he didn’t get hurt. But he didn’t. My neighbor heard the crash and went out to see if he was okay, called 911 and then walked down the block to our house and banged on the door and woke us up.
Yeah- the tow truck guy had to extract the guy's car from the side of my truck. He could have WALKED away but it wouldn't have done much good to leave his entire car behind.
This is false!!! They payout for “deprecated value” they take comparable for year make and model and mileage and give you a check if you’ve paid it off, or pay direct to first lien holder. Had this happen 2x unfortunately.
YOU GET SCREWED SO BAD ON TOTAL LOSS
Unless you have gap! what I was meaning is if cars are 20 k to purchase from dealer that’s what you will get doesn’t matter what you owe. We see it all the time with motorcycle and customer gets cut the check for replacement of a USED vehicle not price for a new vehicle
Very true, insurance tried telling me my carpet was soiled because the floor mat made to stop the carpet from getting soiled had a little sand on it (got hit otw back from a beach day). Definitely clean the truck well before any shop or claims sees it.
At that age you might have replacement value insurance. You can get a brand new one and have the V6
Edit: why the downvotes, he likely has replacement value and will not lose any money. Starts fresh with a brand new truck that will be better.
>At that age you might have replacement value insurance. You can get a brand new one and **have the V6**
What? Dud has a 5.7L and 38 gallon tank now. Why would he drop down to a V6?
Do people want the V8? I’ve always heard they were terrible for fuel consumption. I’ve avoided a tundra for my last three trucks just to avoid that engine. Now that it has. TTV6 I’ve ordered one for myself. I see almost zero older tundras around here, but lots of the 2022+ ones.
Is 38 gallon tank good? Most trucks I’ve had are 80-90 litre tanks and the weight when full is felt significantly. I wouldn’t want a larger tank
Toyota Tundra's and Nissan Titan's are fairly uncommon period. GM, Ford and Ram dominate the market. I believe Toyota makes less than 100k Tundras in NA per year.
Bulletproof. Not Corolla proof. Guy used his Corolla to kill my Tundra. He looked at me like I was a lunatic when they dragged his car onto the tow truck and I said "Sad. Toyota on Toyota violence.".
Same shit happened to my 04 Tacoma. Had kings in the front with all pro leafs. Shifty situation. Ended up getting a sedan. Hopefully no issues with insurance.
Remove the bed cut the frame junk yard the rear axle and suspension but honestly looks like you just found yourself a project truck... Skies your limit, or your wallet and imagination is your limit.
Start looking for a new truck. Sorry your going through this Op. I lost my 16 Tacoma back in June by getting rear ended. Just got the insurance settlement a couple weeks ago
My suggestion would be to take the pay out from the insurance company and buy it back for the salvage price and part that thing out. You’ll make bank. I’ve been waiting 6 months for a drivers side door alone and may not see it until next year. The parts for this truck, especially the body parts are insanely hard to find since the factory doesn’t make em anymore or at the very least doesn’t have many at this point. I’m sorry for your loss of a legendary truck. I feel for you dude. What did the car look like after hitting you? Must have vaporized.
I was t-boned in my 2018 tundra back in May and had something similar happen and it was totaled (imagine this damage in front of the wheel well towards the cab). Frame being bent doesn’t really automatically total it but I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s totaled. My situation was a little of a cluster fuck because the people who hit me had the VA state minimum insurance ($25k). I had to go through my insurance; my initial offer from my insurance was something like $27k; I asked for a market report and looked at similar trucks within 50 miles with similar trim, miles and condition. My truck was 9/10. Final number was $33k.
Before you get too ahead of your self. Call your insurance, let them know what’s going on. Tell them they need to have it towed to a shop so it can be assessed properly.
Well who was at fault insurance should get you a new vehicle and you should still be able to scrap this to a dealer ship for parts unless insurance tows it
I had a similar damage but not as extreme. An F250 hit me in the rain. My wheels did not get hit. Progressive gave me $2900 and told me to f off… sold the damn thing as is.
Gap only pays off the loan if the value of vehicle is less than owed. No way will that be a problem. Gap doesn't do anything to make up the difference between ACV and replacement cost.
Buy it back from insurance. Buy another 5.7L Tundra and you have cheap parts.
It's sad but in the end it is just a truck. Sorry this happened to you dealing with insurance is always a pain.
Get the value of the truck and the biggest insurance check you can, buy it back, get the frame straightened and a new rear axle+suspension, put a box ala Aussie overlander on the back and keep the truck untill it rusts apart on a salvage title. Good thing about a truck is the only things in the back are the frame, rear axle+suspension, fuel tank, and bed. All fixable.
You'll have a majorly reduced value but it doesn't sound like you'll be getting rid of it anyway so no downside. That idiot just paid for you to get a badass upgrade.
Document everything you purchased, put into the vehicle, all repairs the whole nine yards. If you have paperwork even better. They will pay you what they say it's worth and if you don't like it good luck. However if you have repairs, customization, it will add to the value. It's insurance they are going to try to screw you, make it hard for them to do so
Thanks- I am sure they will try. Currently praying this guy actually has insurance. So far, haven’t heard back from the police officer about the guy’s insurance information.
Damn. I got hit on the highway by someone going 100mph being chased by the police in my f150. Rammed right into the back of me and my truck wasn’t nearly this fucked. God damn
They are out there I found a ‘16 Crewmax that has every service and oil change documented by the dealer from day 1. I have continued its history with the same dealer that sold it originally. It’s maintained and documented on the Toyota website.
Harvest what you can insurance is gonna pay shit on it , depreciation and book value, and whatever else and they will take your truck and sell it for 1k. This happened to me. If the tires and rims are good go and get used crap from salvage yard.
Jeez thats a nice truck 5.7 thats sweet. I just saw this on reddit randomly dont own a tacoma. If I had this truck I would be pissed too. Can haul all kind of stuff with that
[удалено]
Trucks not even cold yet and your already harvesting
We were all thinking it...
Yea I want that 38 gallon tank.
Uh excuse me sir I believe that’s now a modded 1 gallon tank.
Looks more like a 5 gallon to me. It's in the bottom left.
Lol i don't wanna seem like a dick, but it's probably totaled and I'm helping the guy make another 100 bucks before the insurance vultures swoop in
Them insurance vultures are gonna swoop in and go “missing mirror? I mean reality is aftermarket upgrades on cars don't really translate to proportionate increase in second hand value.
What fucking engine. This bitch was wind powered
Found a coyote 5.0 mustang at a pick and pull once. Someone had removed the coyote and literally dropped an old blown Windsor 302 in there. Absolute madlad swapped a 10k (at the time) engine with a blown up $250 anchor.
Note to self - pull the $3k OS-Giken LSD from the IS-350 when parked on it's lid. Got it!
USAA all the way 👊
Gotta harvest while it’s still warm
Old joke on the Subaru subreddit is when someone post a wrecked car is to say “dibs on wheels and tranny” lol
Oh that's just wrong. What are you gonna want next... the headlights, front signals, how bout the 2 remaining good rims. Let the guy mourn, sicko. 😏
Do you not have insurance?
It’s going to be on their insurance….but the issue he’s talking about is, he’s not going to get replacement value, and have to get another truck. One that he’ll have to trick out again

Insurance is a scam.
-Take the check. -Buy the truck back. -Part out the truck. -Literally profit

Time for chromoly welding and big frog leg suspension to turn this beast into a trophy truck!
Buy back from insurance, then custom tube frame from cab back, SAS, one tons, 40s. Letsssss goooooooo
This is the way
Insurance will total it then buy it back. Cut the back of the frame off and build a tube frame with 4 link long travel.
Now we’re talking.

This! And- although I am sure not upside down on a loan- I had a bloody 3% interest rate loan on this one. I wasn’t in the truck so no personal injury damages. Just property loss. And anger. Lots of anger.
It’s got to be SO frustrating. Good luck to you.
Emotional damages
Tis but a scratch
It’ll buff
Damn... That f'n sucks man... Was it a hit n' run?
I don't think anyone is running from a hit like that, lol.
I love a story with a (somewhat) happy ending. Sorry for your buddies truck though.
You’re not kidding. Based off the last time I was rear-ended in a Tundra, the other car is MUCH worse off.
You’d be surprised what people find the ability to run from…
Didn’t run.
Before insurance tows it out. Clean it like you are selling it. They will condition it as it sits. The better it looks the more you will get
Not true.
Yes insurance pays what it would cost to replace from a dealer
Dude, I'm sorry that really sucks!!!!
Now that's a lot of damage! Try some flex seal
Ace Hardware has the Scratch-Dini and I heard the infomercials say it works great. Might be the best 10 bucks you spend for this.
Put the engine and transmission into an old school Toyota rock crawler
Something similar happened to a friend, insurance actually fixed it, new frame, etc, etc…about 4 months to fix.
Sell on FB marketplace for 15k. No lowballers. I know what I have
Geet anudder wun
Just gotta move on. It happens
Duct tape?
Use a less aggressive brush next time you wash
Now insurance deals with it
It should buff right out.
I'll tell you Now what. You go get yourself a new gawd damn truck you sumbit..
That’ll buff out for sure. I wouldn’t worry too much.
It’ll buff out
Flatbed and Dooley swap.
At that age you might have replacement value insurance. You can get a brand new one and have the V6 Edit: why the downvotes, he likely has replacement value and will not lose any money. Starts fresh with a brand new truck that will be better.
>At that age you might have replacement value insurance. You can get a brand new one and **have the V6** What? Dud has a 5.7L and 38 gallon tank now. Why would he drop down to a V6?
Do people want the V8? I’ve always heard they were terrible for fuel consumption. I’ve avoided a tundra for my last three trucks just to avoid that engine. Now that it has. TTV6 I’ve ordered one for myself. I see almost zero older tundras around here, but lots of the 2022+ ones. Is 38 gallon tank good? Most trucks I’ve had are 80-90 litre tanks and the weight when full is felt significantly. I wouldn’t want a larger tank
>Do people want the V8? OP tows an RV (camper) (caravan) with his truck.
> I see almost zero older tundras around here, but lots of the 2022+ ones. Guy at work has a 2001 Tundra. Another has a 2006.
It’s all Rams around here. GMs and Fords are fairly common, but Toyotas are rare.
Toyota Tundra's and Nissan Titan's are fairly uncommon period. GM, Ford and Ram dominate the market. I believe Toyota makes less than 100k Tundras in NA per year.
I can’t remember the last time that I saw a Titan.
Exactly. The only one I see is at work. Guy has a Titan XD Cummins. Parks next to the 2001 and 2006 Tundras. Rans dominate our area.
Get a Chevy
I'd say time 4van American made pickup
“It was bulletproof.” This aged well.
Bulletproof. Not Corolla proof. Guy used his Corolla to kill my Tundra. He looked at me like I was a lunatic when they dragged his car onto the tow truck and I said "Sad. Toyota on Toyota violence.".
Better call mako
Time to buy a real truck!
Same shit happened to my 04 Tacoma. Had kings in the front with all pro leafs. Shifty situation. Ended up getting a sedan. Hopefully no issues with insurance.
Fuuuk. I feel for you.
Great time to install a flatbed (if the frame can be salvaged)
Likely a TL. Big salvage money on these. Find some good local comps now to negotiate the TL payout.
This breaks my heart
Take the insurance claim
Kinda sus with the 24's around the corner
Now we mourn
Prerunner project
Lawyer up
Assume the fetal position with your thumb in your butt and just cry
Used trd pro!
Back half it.
Done and done.
Sell it for $16,000 on Marketplace “No tire kickers I know what I got”
Well who was at fault insurance should get you a new vehicle and you should still be able to scrap this to a dealer ship for parts unless insurance tows it
Flat bed? Or build a monster crawler
Tube frame and long travel time!
I had a similar damage but not as extreme. An F250 hit me in the rain. My wheels did not get hit. Progressive gave me $2900 and told me to f off… sold the damn thing as is.
Now it's a 4x3
Hopefully you have gap lol
Gap only pays off the loan if the value of vehicle is less than owed. No way will that be a problem. Gap doesn't do anything to make up the difference between ACV and replacement cost.
that'll buff out
Frame ok? Flatbed
Stop crying, it’s very simple Buy a new rear end.
All I got to say is- "One call that's all".
looks like your getting a new truck.
That'll buff out
Congratulations on your new flatbed
If you had a Ram you could have Dodge’d it. I crack myself up sometimes.
Commit sodoku so no dishonor befalls your line
Get a buffer and buff that shit out !
Considering tundras go for 70-90k around here, you stand to collect a lot.
Junk yard get a used bed
I know what’s wrong with it…..ain’t got no gas
Pre-Runner!! Cut off everything behind the damage and go full ling offroad setup!!
RIP I’m so sorry man, this is truly shitty and I hope you get an even cooler truck when it’s all said and done.
Time for a boxed frame and long travel?
Buy it back from insurance. Buy another 5.7L Tundra and you have cheap parts. It's sad but in the end it is just a truck. Sorry this happened to you dealing with insurance is always a pain.
Duct tape….. lots!
I am genuinely upset with you. That’s just awful
Get a jeep gladiator.
Duct tape and WD40
It’ll buff out
It’s over Johnny…
Dundra
Ouch, that sucks
Step (1): call your insurance.
You should thank God it's not a fiberglass side panel.
Make a YouTube video of you blowing up the truck label it “anti harvesting” I’m sure you will make more $ that way
Should buff right out. Might need a little bondo.
At least your tire didn't go flat
Just need to be buffed out
Just a bit of bondo and you’re good. 👍
That’ll buff right out.
Hook a leaf blower up to the muffler and it should pop right back.
I’d say buy a compact but looks like you’re halfway there
You need a bigger bucket man.
It's a Toyota...rub some dirt on it.
Now you walk
38 gallon tank geez I thought my titan with a 28 gallon was a huge tank.
Buy it back from the insurance for Pennie’s on the dollar and rebuild it. Won’t take much to get it operational.
That’ll buff right out
Throw it in the gutter, go buy another.
That'll buff right out
Get a new one
Flatbed time
Time for a new one…
That sucks. I have a 2010 with 95k on it for my work truck. That'd be impossible to replace for $10k or whatever book is on a truck that old.
Well... get busy, it's not gonna buff itself out.
Jack up the oil cap and slide a new truck underneath it.
It will buff out…
Looks like it’s time for drinks. Not much else to do while waiting for insurance.
Still looks better than a Dodge/Chevy/Ford and will likely outlast them as well
Harvest what you can insurance is gonna pay shit on it , depreciation and book value, and whatever else and they will take your truck and sell it for 1k. This happened to me. If the tires and rims are good go and get used crap from salvage yard.
Just cut off the damaged part and you’ll be fine, just with little shorter bed
Now what? ....... You call your insurance company.
Short Toyota 😂
Jeez thats a nice truck 5.7 thats sweet. I just saw this on reddit randomly dont own a tacoma. If I had this truck I would be pissed too. Can haul all kind of stuff with that
