You can “buff out” light scratches on titanium with a sand eraser (pen eraser). You are essentially polishing off the outer layer of the material so I would only do this sparingly, but if done right (which isn’t hard) you won’t mess up the brushed pattern.
Source: have done this repeatedly with my Pelagos 39.
Hell, I've lightly rubbed a green scotchbrite pad in the direction along the brushed finish and it basically erased any and all scratches on my Pelagos 42.
I eventually stopped caring about scratches though.
They’ll both scratch. Get the p39!
I am here as always to say: p39
I have the p39 and can not recommend it enough… but I would get what appeals to you personally! You can’t make a wrong decision
Pelagos 39! The BB is unnecessary big, so it looks like an engineering inefficiency to me :( .. I know I know, the problem is in me ….
Some people like a chunky watch, particularly a diver
Get both like this guy https://www.reddit.com/r/Tudor/s/st6q01wnTT
So strange that the P39 looks so much bigger in pictures than the 41. Seems like the 41 wears like the 39, which makes the decision even harder!
Monochrome
P39 due to the bezel lume. It is crazy freaking cool.

Mono. Jubilee bracelet, Meta certification, Sub-like appearance.
Other than the four lines of text, the P39 is damn near perfect.
