Yeah but in the past turbo tax has let the efile on their site go through and then they hold it until the actual filing date.

You may have forms that are being finalized, do some browser troubleshooting and call if need be because it is available to send for pending until open

Also, there is this on their site Jan 05 2023, 1:39 PM E-file is now available! Finish your taxes and we'll submit them to the IRS when it opens.

Yup they are holding your return until the IRS is ready to accept them, which is January 23rd this year.

I am receiving this message as well. Even after all troubleshooting they suggested. I was wondering is it possible to go through another tax service? Or will doing so interfere with my refund?

I called customer service and they said it’s most likely due to a form that isn’t available yet. They said to try again on the 24th.

I am also getting that same issue so it must be that we need to wait until tax returns start.

I figured out how to get the transmission to go through. I took off my state taxes and the federal taxes transferred right away and were at the next stage.

Did you completely delete the state taxes or just thought uou did? I mean, is there still a number for the amount of your state taxes? I tried deleting mine twice before I actually got them cleared out completely

Just happened with my husband and I, we had to file federal only and we’ll try state in a week or two.

I got same error and my federal even got approved by irs??

Same issue for me; electronic transmission would not go through. Already got confirmation of acceptance on federal return. However, I did note that the state return went up by approximately $250 from a week ago which I assume is due to a change in the tax forms for State of Colorado recently. Oh and the original message last week from Intuit was that the state filing could not be comleted due to them waiting for updated forms or tax information. So just waiting now. Tried today on 20th but does not transmit.

Update for me my state tax just went thru wooo!

Looks like it's based on specific states. I suggest holding off until the 23rd or 24th and e filing should be all cleared up by then.

I encountered this problem just today after trying three times. I called customer service and the lady said the page might need to be refreshed. That did the trick for me.

Good news and a follow up my Colorado went thru just now after days of getting transmissions not available.

It is Januiary 26 so why am I gettnig the transmission not available

Yeah same here! No issues with my federal part going through, I got an alert saying the forms needed for my NC state return were ready to e-file. I've tried five separate times, and keep getting the same error message. I called and the guy was less than helpful.

Same! I just got the email saying your NC forms are ready to file, but just keep getting that error. I know NCDOR put out they don't expect filing season to open until Feb 3, so I'm just going to wait until then and try again.

Delete your state file then wait for your state to start accepting should fix the issue
