Nope no joke. You just ended your military career! I hope this non-criminal speed was worth the ride. Now, Report to battalion and ask too see a Prick e7
Driving there is a privilege. It can be taken away. If you, for example, have many other issues going on they can pile up.
In your case I don’t think you have anything to worry about. I just say this because I’ve seen it. I had a marine who first had a minor hit and run, she claimed ignorance, then she was caught shoplifting, she paid for most of what she had and claimed she unintentionally put the other item in the bag without paying, then she had a speeding ticket doing 100 in a 60kph zone. Her driving privileges were taken away because of the pattern of irresponsible behavior.
OP, I used to have a pretty heavy lead foot when I was younger. Now I just set the cruise control to 5mph over (you’re not my dad, MAN!) and let it manage the speed. Every 5-7 years I get sloppy and get a ticket. Rates haven’t gone up. I’m with USAA.
Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, but I just don’t understand why everyone is filled with such rage and in such a fucking hurry in the road.
Thats funny. I was also 26 when I got a speeding ticket. I just paid it, I didn't even know I was supposed to tell the command. XO flipped a shit when I mentioned it in passing weeks later
I never said shit about my speeding tickets. They don't need to know. But you should learn how to use cruise control to force you to keep a decent speed. That shit helped me.
Non-Rec, begin maximum discipline procedures, hope you didn’t want a career you sh*tbag.
This a joke?

Chances are the ticket will show you where to pay the fine for it. Just do that and there will be nothing more you have to do.
As long as you’re not in 8th Comm you should be fine.
Get a lawyer to make sure you don’t get points so your insurance doesn’t increase do not just pay the ticket.
Just tell your chain. No harm, unless you are in Okinawa. Pay the fine. Move on.
What is the harm if in Okinawa? I’m there now
