UCF (University of Central Florida) has an event going on. The line was all the way through city walk before 5 because of how many are here for it. Was talking to an employee and they said they’re really surprised they didn’t close the park for the event, because of how many are here. I ended up going back to the hotel early because it is insanely busy.

The event goes until 1am so really no need to close the park any earlier than they have (7pm and 8pm). It’s unfortunate they don’t have a list of what’s going on even if it just says private event 4pm-1am, at least people would know to bail before then or switch up travel plans

UCF Alumni here, they never close the park early for the Universal Knights event at IoA. They start letting students in around 4pm. Same for Orlando Informer Meetup, they don't close early for the event and it starts after the day guests clear the parks.

Ahh perfect thanks appreciate the context. Hopefully it's just tonight!

Yes, I heard it was a UCF event, but also it is Disney World race weekend. So there are probably more guest than normal this weekend

Today wasn't crazy busy, this evening was. Check this out https://www.thrill-data.com/waits/chain/uor/

Seemed to only affect IOA. Was at US last night and it was much quieter. Perhaps because it closed to the general public an hour earlier.
