Yeah was among the first in line for Hagrids this morning. Didn’t hear any trains running which wasn’t good. Once I saw it change to “Extended Delay” I bailed after 20 minutes. Went to VC on got on in 25 minutes.
Ride last night? I went back to Islands late and got on twice, once after the sun set just as park closed. Definitely a great end to the day after not being able to ride yesterday morning.
Hagrids was delayed at open 2 out of our 3 days there last week. It usually resolved by 10am ish (though small sample size).
We waited foreveeeeeerrr the first day. The second day we just decided to do other stuff nearby as first rides, the castle and the hippogriffs. By the time we finished those 2, Hagrids was back online and the wait time was just over 60 minutes.
Am here now. Way busier than I expected for a Monday. In Diagon Alley rn. Gringotts is a 105 minute wait which is crazy. Where are all these props coming from lol
We had such a great day today!!! Hagrids was delayed but we waited it out… almost 2 hours. However the rest of the day saw low low low waits and some of the most enjoyable weather in the parks I’ve ever experienced. 10/10
Early admission is such a scam. There is no advantage to getting in early because most rides aren't open. And as a bonus you get to wait in line longer for rides that break down.
If you sleep in and get there after open it's actually better as long as you have express.
Disney does early entry so much better. I would always praise universal for their unlimited express passes for deluxe resorts but their early entry is 100% marketing and 0 payoff.
Depends on the day. Many days, there is a huge amount of people that are there early to take advantage of the early hours and it gets crowded immediately. With the added bonus of people elbowing you and running past you to try and beat you to the rides
Disagree. Parks have been very busy every day lately due to grad bash, etc. getting Velocicoaster and Hagrids knocked out at the crack of dawn before the masses come is worth it w/o express pass.

We rode twice yesterday so we’ll try to do a night ride tonight. We waited until 8:45 then bailed to Universal Studios to go eat at Diagon Alley

Probably crossed paths in line and didn’t even know it. Re-Entered about 4 minutes before closing so you must’ve been just in front of me.

FYI Hagrids needs X amount of hours for maintenance each night and with Grad Bash, this is pushing the maintenance into regular park hours.

Hagrid’s being down first thing is not non-common. Both are up and running now…
We're arriving tomorrow night and I'm worried looking at the wait times... Does it seem particularly crowded? If so, any ideas why?
NYC has spring break this week. Im not sure what other states are late with spring break like NYC, but I’m hoping it’s not too bad. Fingers crossed.
It’s always crowded because it’s so popular. Best bets are to get in early or late at night.

They’re not busy at all today. I’ve actually never seen it so empty in my life. Buuuut it’s a little cooler and grey today so that might be why

We did EPA the day before yesterday. My nephew RAN to Hagrid's, and we were on the second cart. It was magical.
