We usually eat breakfast at the hotel ,do lunch and a snack in park and then do dinner at City Walk or a hotel. That way we get good food and a good variety.

Artwebb1986

Never, once I'm at the parks I stay the day.

CamiloArturo

Same. I’ve never gone out of the parks to eat. That’s at least a 2 hour lose for me. I really don’t care about eating whatever I can get inside just for the sake of it and compensate with better dinner afterwards

Accomplished_Mud_383

I don’t leave Disney for this reason, but Universal is so easy to go to CityWalk or Hotel. We’ve been twice in the last year and we always break out. Love missing higher crowd times and then coming back in the evening and spending time strolling with way lower crowds.

Accomplished_Mud_383

But we do stay at a hotel on the water taxi access.

ItsMeTrey

We normally will have some sort of park food while we are there throughout the day, then go off-site for dinner. We've been trying one or two restaurants at Disney Springs during each trip, then finding new local restaurants to go to on the other days.

RichGullible

I literally never leave the park or resort once I arrive. I can’t imagine ever wanting to do that.

crowd79

Staying onsite it’s definitely worth taking breaks throughout the day imo with walking paths and water taxis so easily accessible. Off-site makes it hard though.

Accomplished_Mud_383

I think that’s the difference too. Staying at the water taxi hotels is so worth it for this very reason. Portofino was too far to walk but I was surprised at how easy Hard Rock was to walk. Loved both

I'd walk over to Adventura and get a wok bowl... They are real good

SinsOfKnowing

I was pretty unimpressed with the majority of the food in the food court at Aventura when we stayed last October. Everything was sort of greasy and bland and reminded me of university cafeteria food. The sauce options for the wok bowls when we were there were both overly sweet (teriyaki and sweet and sour were the only options - a spicy or more savoury option would have been nice). The 2am pizza in the lobby after HHN was phenomenal though, and the rooftop bar was great - definitely recommend the baos!

Accomplished_Low9905

I can jam on some wok bowls for sure

allenhuffman

Since park hopping at UOR requires walking past Toothsome, we've certainly popped in there for a bite/drink many times as we go park-to-park ;-)

DDLyftUber

Rarely.. we may every once in a while go down to I-Drive area, but usually we’re always eating in City Walk or the hotel. Bubba Gumps + Chocolate Emporium are musts for us

BenBishopsButt

My favorite restaurant in the world is Cedars Lebanese on Sand Lake Road, so at least once per trip.

Individual_Sun5662

Love that place. My parents live in Orlando so I usually go when we visit them when we're not going to universal.

ILoveJesusVeryMuch

Every day. We go back to the hotel to chill after lunch. Then we grab dinner wherever we want.

benjiross1

Depends on the day. Sometimes my wife and I eat beforehand. Last time we ate there (due to poor planning, but we have passes and we also had the food & beverage card from Mardi Gras still).

FatalFirecrotch

Depends on the length of the trip. A single day trip? No, I will stay in. But on longer trips I will adventure out more as I am not trying to maximize park time. I will also try to sneak a nap in and refresh.

darthjoey91

Not usually to eat, but when leaving the parks in the afternoon, grabbing a snack in Citiwalk is usually on the table. I think last time I was there, we ate a meal a day in the parks, and then dinner would usually be after an afternoon nap and at Citiwalk, or after the parks closed at Citiwalk.

GoldenKnightz

Never, unless we happen to go back to the hotel for some pool time

_BWTHHYBL_

Never. Actually, it happened once last year during our 5 day trip. One of the days was HHN and we went to ride hagrids motorbike and a few other rides and went back to the hotel around 1pm to take a nap and go to the hot pot place nearby lol! But other than that - never, the parks close pretty early so we eat the breakfast at the hotel, lunch and snacks in the park and some dinner in city walk or off-site after the parks close.

rmoren27

The hotels have a decent selection. I like having a burger at the rooftop bar at Aventura, as well as the breakfast buffet at Royal Pacific. Other than that, we usually just stay inside the resort and use the 15% off the premier pass gets us.

dragonsrevenge

Even as a pass holder it's too much trouble to actively leave the park go through CW through parking and out, drive anywhere for food then do it all over again. You're probably losing 2-3 hrs.

Shot_Map_1363

Never, unless I’m with a guest then I’ll head to city walk ! I always bring my own food, sandwiches and fruit snacks.

At the end of the night when they close.
