I have a multi shot + fire rate riven for it. Paired with primed shred and xata's whisper, it becomes something otherworldly. It deletes archons. A fun side effect is the bullets stay suspended in air in slow motion after the enemy and xata bubble are gone.
It having Multiplicative GunCO really gives it a huge damage boost that allows it to content with other end game guns. you can check out what other guns scale like this [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ryemX4Y2vWy9LjuJ355bWVNuBhzLaHTTFqPeTNto9RA/edit#gid=221509335).
Jsyk, the crit buff the buzlok has for it's lock-on effect persist after enemy death, and it's a flat final crit chance addition. Dumb strong
Yeah I have that spreadsheet bookmarked, it's crazy how inconsistent that mod is and almost crazier someone actually tested all of it. I'm def gonna try Buzlok out though.
Just slapped my 4th forma on hate after going through the same process. I was a bit wary about Jade's scythe making it redundant but it doesn't look like that's the case. I guess it has incarnon so it was never going to be bad but still
The twin kohmak.
Literally never saw anyone use it or even heard anyone talk about it.
Ranked it up as mr fodder in eso.
Noticed it did surprisingly well.
Built it up a li'l.
And now I love it.
Yeah, but using shards just limits it to specific frames.
And if I wanted to use a cookie cutter viral/Hunter munitions build like suggested, why? I can use the torid for that, or like other weapons. kohm, when it was king of armor shredding, did something *different*.
Honestly? From the sounds of the status rework I'm going to with a magnetic progeniter for the electrical burst, and then rad corrosive heat, or maybe rad viral heat. Riven might need some rolling.
Yeah, it's best as a primer in sp. It can apply a lot of status very quickly, so it's phenomenal with secondary encumber, but in terms of damage output it's tough, especially against grineer.
For me it was Phantasma prime as well but there was a bigger surprise. The Jat Kusar hit me like a truck, couldn't put that thing down for 2 months straight after building it. Its far from being the best but it tickeled that spark and I still bust it out sometimes to this day.
I just can't get that damn gun to work for me. I like it, I like it's fire rate, but I just can't get it to be worth its salt in endgame content, and if it can't hold up there. I just can't bother to invest in it.
Same goes for the basmu
Have you tried it with Mesa's Ballistic Battery (her 1) plus the augment Ballistic Bullseye? Charge it up and use cedo secondary fire for a fun time :p

Trumna has a bug where the recoil is so high it removes the camera from your body. Like I'm talking, the camera goes up like 6 feet and stays there till you stop firing.
The Falcor. Thought it would be a temporary weapon, a slight upgrade of the Xoris that I really enjoyed.
Turns out with the right mods (increasing flight speed and Volatile Rebound) its absolute madness and when used by Mirage can clear rooms in an instant. 5 super fast flying bombs that explode on each rebound, basically making everything invisible for 2 seconds because of all the fast bright explosions. It's fun as hell and has been my main weapon for months.
I've been enjoying Falcor for months now. Didn't think it could get any better. Now you're telling me that Mirage's clones work with Falcor?! Sounds bloody amazing. Can cloned glaves proc influence?
Yes as far as I can tell all weapons used by Mirage's clones retain most of their regular functionality, so also Melee Influence. Best thing I've noticed a few times, when I manually detonate the Falcor, the clones' copies keep flying around for a bit, continuing to seek targets even after detonation.
And I know it’s in like every build but this thing shreds everything with a number of different melee arcanes. Obviously influence is the go to since it is electric based
I pretty much forgot this weapon existed until last month when I got it for Elite Archimedea. I looked at the icon and thought oh cool xoris. Modded it for anti murmur with melee influence only to find it was the falcor. Then had to potato and forma the falcor since I had never used it.
The Falcor is my baby. I managed to pump up the crit on mine to 84% and boy does it go hard.
Throw it down any packed hallway and watch the numbers just fly!
I didn't like many Corpus weapons at the start of my Warframe career...until I met Glaxion. I fell in love with the ice cream ray so much, that I went and farmed Glaxion Vandal, and my highest rolled riven in my collection is for the Glaxion.
I took a long break from Warframe...until I heard Tenet Glaxion was being introduced. Instantly came back a few weeks ago, and it's one of the few weapons where I bought an extra mod config for it.
I love my Glaxion.
This was yeeeeeeears ago like 2016, but the Fragor, the ragdoll animations were just so damn funny and I just couldn't stop using it. Still loving the fragor prime to this day
I figured Xoris would be a gimmick quest weapon but now I rarely carry any other melee that isn't being leveled, and rarely reach for a gun when electric frisbee usually does the trick. I play casually so the number could be a lot higher, but I've racked up over 71k kills since I got it in like February of this year. It's on its way to becoming my most used weapon.
Xoris carried me so hard during the starchart lol. These days I usually use Praedos but that’s for the sprint and parkour speed boosts. But Xoris wrecks.
Rakta Cernos was at my side for a long time after its release. Being able to skip out on a Fire Rate mod compared to Paris and Dread at the time was such a nice QoL.
I have a Split Flights shotgun bow build with Cernos Prime on Harrow that I mess with.
Not related to the topic but recently tried the laetum crit with high fire rate mods and it has a similar feeling to the burston incarnon, for a shorter amount of time. Melts eximus rogue voidrigs in Elite Archimedea.
The Argonak
The rifle itself is kinda meh compared to other rifles
But its Amalgam mod is unmatched
Suddenly any and every dagger is a steel path and beyond monstrosity
Do it. Any dagger damage, including any status procs by the daggers reduces enemy armour.
Gas is especially good, as it's spread also triggers the armour reduction.
I mod for magnetic and gas, then attach melee vortex to pull in the crowds.
Doesn't need high damage, just status chance and the armour reduction will negate the need for the damage
Try gas elec with the rakta dark daggrr with it and the arcane that spreads status on elec proc. Why pull them in when everyone can in the room can suffer from it.
Not yet, I've used a zaw built for status, it is blinding the number of procs filling the screen
I've also used the Innodem with Zephyr for that air attack bonus. It melts anything and everything and at range! (I believe her tornados also deal the armour strip effect of the dagger)
Ceramic Dagger is next. Ill need to test if the Amalgam also counts for damage dealt as a stat-stick.
Maybe Barruk's punches and Khora's whip will strip armour with the daggers effects?
Here me out, do Innodem or Ceramic with raw electric and melee influence. Use ensnare or another grouping ability and everything will die. You don't even need viral until like maybeeee level 300+ on steel path.
I actually had the opposite, where I farmed the Phantasma Prime because I heard it was excellent and then didn't like it that much. Something about the constant reload breaks, even though they're very quick, doesn't feel great to me.
Similar beam weapon vibes though, I got the Catabolyst because I saw I had the nightwave augment and figured I could at least do a funny meme thing with it. Turns out the regular fire is really good too and the reload grenade makes it feel like the weapon has very little downtime, so I've been using it a lot recently.
With revenant you don't even notice the reload time. It's so quick that it's literally a blip among firing modes. I actually have a hard time keeping ammo every so often
The Basmu. I didn’t think of it as MR hodder but never thought I’d use it until I saw it had inate electric and wanted to try it on Gyre. Solid riven disposition, very strong for slash/viral plus the added electric + heat for Galvanized Aptitude. Really fun gun, loved it.
Kompressa. Full-auto shotgun with built-in viral which causes status with both the projectiles and their explosion sounds way too good to be true and yet it's in my loadout every mission. Need to delete a crowd? Spray without looking. Need to unexist a single target? Magdump them and the deed is done. Even if they have overguard the damage over time effects will melt them once the guard is down.
It has some downsides though, but they are easy to fix. With the next update thinking of swapping corrosive for magnetic to fix its issues with overguard and it shall remain good against grineer since there's still viral, radiation and heat. The only other downside which is low damage is solved entirely by Cascadia Empowered. Doesn't sound like much, but it's enough to even carry through EDA. Even steel path enemies usually require a single shot.
for me probably Azothane and Praedos. Praedos I never expected to love the sprint and parkour boosts as much as I do and i've come to enjoy the stance it uses. the Azothane was the first time I tried a heavy attack build and actually enjoyed it. the stance doesn't move forward very much which can be annoying, but the slashes are very wide and Azothane has a lot of reach on top of just being the second best heavy attacker for raw damage I've ever used. Azothane is now one of my most used melee weapons and I tend to use a lot of Dexterity weapon arcanes and get them charged up with Azothane, or even with other arcanes like deadhead I keep Azothane in my back pocket for tough targets since I know if can handle anything even if i'm goofing around with my primary and secondary picks. if I can't put 14 corrosives onto an enemy with armour my kompressa tends to struggle, like Acolytes, but Azothane makes pretty short work of them with just a bit of priming
Oh lord, I don't even remember the name...
That grineer mining laser pistol that can arc from target to target.
It wraps around your whole hand and is a big ball.
I fell in love with that thing after I found out it's basically a much more accuracy intensive Ignis.
Since Melee influence: Keratinos.
Good slash weighting, inherent viral, and the heavy attack gives you a couple minutes of +2.8m reach. With a good attack speed and 0.8 follow through, it's surprisingly good.
I've got a few I was pleasantly surprised by:
Tenet Flux Rifle. Watching a bajillion slash procs burst down a health bar will never not be satisfying.
Strun Wraith and Boar Prime. BOOM-BOOM-BOOM.
Kuva Drakgoon. Hehehe funny shrapnel go *roomclear*
Prisma Twin Gremlins. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr-
Ocucor and Battacor. I liked them BEFORE they got an augment. (adjusts glasses)
And the Vericres. Man, when I tell you I was fully expecting to hate these things...
Veldt.
With my riven and 8 Forma, it's an OK weapon in SP and beyond, but it just feels *so good*. A non-scoped sniper that uses rifle mods feels so nice, and having two zoom ranges (three if you count hip fire ) is so flexible and fun. It's a shame it can't stand up in multiplayer content, but the AOE meta is what it is at this point, complaining about it isn't going to improve anything.
But if any weapon needs an incarnon Genesis or a prime, it's the Veldt.
Hytrix (or whatever its called, you can tell by the description)
Easy one tone element kills for night wave and i can add the 2 tone elements if it contains the first one tone
This is as hard writing as it is reading
Athodai.
Got the parts over time and built it to level and discard.
But I found myself loving my stylish laser pistol. It's not a damage beast, but it looks great, and it's fun enough to keep on hand.
honestly? so many things.
ferrox is prob the biggest one. i wanna say its the ONLY weapon ive ever used heavy caliber OR primed firestorm on, especially in combination. but i love it bc of its alt fire, which scales differently than pretty much any other weapon in this game. its the slowva/speedva of weapons, for me. but it scales off straight damage mostly as the alt fire cannot benefit from crit or status, blast radius for bigger AoE, and fire rate for faster pulses. if you enjoy vaubans nail nades, protea's turrets, etc i HIGHLY encourage you to give this thing a go bc its also extremely easy to get a decent riven for! as most the stats that make rivens expensive in the first place, it cares not for.
phantasma and arca plasmor, both do similar things, just AoE shotties that dont really feel like shotties. im very picky about shotties in games apparently, so im always surprised by them when i enjoy. astilla too! flux rifle, i personally just find this thing fun with flux overdrive + combustion beam. its not great, or even really that good honestly, but it IS fun. that do matter.
secondaries are where the most happens tho, cause originally, i really REALLY disliked most of them. over the years, some have grown on me tho. quatz and velox are probably my favorites nowadays, but i still absolutely love akmagnus, atomos, cycron, cyanex, and hystrix prime. shout out to pyrana prime as well, it really is that good, but i kinda knew that going in.
melee's are similar to secondaries, i didnt start finding ones i enjoyed till much later. fang prime was my go to for literal ages, and i still love them lmao. nowadays, rakta dark dagger is prob my most used, but i LOVE the pupacyst. also gunsen prime looks fab.
kitguns and zaws are also honorable mention, i absolutely LOVED that grind. not so much the favor portion of it to unlock them, but the tinkering with different weapons for MR and how each of them can be different and all that jazz, was awesome. amps too honestly.
special shout out to carrier for ammo issue guns (those arent so much a thing nowadays tho), helios for codex scans, and friggin taxon as well cause thats an amazing first sentinel and its an underrated superstar. all of them seem like MR fodder pets at first i think, but they are just QoL buddies.
Mutalist cernos and dual toxocyst. Didnt think they would be any good and didnt really like them at first. But im glad I gave them a shot, and although my build for them isn't finished just yet it is alot stronger than I thought with the right build.
Dual Toxocyst was amongst my most hated weapons because of the horrible rof and single shot, but with an incarnon and decent riven its flatout busted. I will like it even more with the upcoming changes that make semi auto to full auto. Although I would recommend most people to use the Lateum instead, without a riven that thing remains unmatched.
Mutalist Cernos is an interesting armor stripper if you have green shards on a frame as well.
It feels like I fire off one short into a crowd and those gas clouds make everyone armorless damn near instantly.
The furis. I thought it was just some fodder guns, but with its incarnon, I built it for corrosive, put two green shards, and nourish and I can clear steelpath thraxx easily when doing void cascade. Combine it with Warframe that has invisibility like octavia and you can go level cap within 50 mins with a good team.
BAZA / PRIME.
Silent, stable, accurate.
I love playing stealth, and when I started out, i loved doing spy/exterminate/sabotage even at levels beyond the level of my Mag starter frame, relying on stealth to complete missions. I naturally gravitated towards bows because they're silent without having to mod for it. I thought I'd keep using bows forever, especially when i got my Paris Prime, so imagine how blown away I was when I came upon the Baza! I loved firing a whole clip into an enemy's head and they'd have no idea where the shots are from, or how their friends are dead.
Grendel.
Prime had been out a while and I realized, “yea, he’s probably not going into the Circuit.” Went ahead and farmed him manually for Nourish. Levelling him up was the most fun I’d had in forever, and after the first mission I immediately started using him to farm Prime.
This is probably the only frame I found so fun I made him *less* effective in Helminth for the sake of fun: I replaced 4 (ability damage that scales with enemy level and armor strips and slows) with Tesla Bank. I *should* have replaced 3, since it does not scale (I think they should add X% of swallowed HP to ball damages,) but it was so fun to roll around causing mayhem I kept it and kept using it.
original astilla. I saw the stats and was ready to trash it, then saw how the projectiles worked and heard the reload.
the prime stays as a high pick for me.
Mine was glaive. I had crafted glaive as a joke, but fell in love with the power and gameplay. A couple months later, I was experimenting with buildcrafting and had accidentally made a build that ABSOLUTELY ANNIHILATED Hydron's Grineer clear into wave 30 (which was unachievable beforehand) and was waaaaaay stronger than my buddie's Wolf Sledge. My buddy proceeded to buy Glaive Prime for me a few months later, as I was basically carrying us with Glaive and was unable to buy anything myself (also because he wanted to see the extent of my skill with it). He didn't get it for himself for multiple reasons: 1. He didn't enjoy the playstyle of glaive (yet he LIVES AND DIES by the Wolf Sledge); 2. He had the strongest (to my knowledge) War build at the time; and (probably most importantly) 3. I had a pretty good Glaive Riven mod back when Rivens were almost unobtainable for us. I will say, my Glaive Prime almost never leaves my side ESPECIALLY in Netracells.
*Sidenote: Dante is an amazing match for Glaive Prime.
Bruh gotva prime and tenet flux rifle lol. Gotva prime doesnt need to build any crit chance, only crit damage and status and multishot.
Tenet flux rifle is also really strong and fun, but ive actually been starting to use cedo with lavos again
Not a weapon but Octavia for me. I refused to do the regular grind to get her frame but I got her prime set and played it, intending for her to just be mr fodder but I ended up enjoying the kit so much that she was my main for forever. Now anytime I find the puzzle room in a squad I do the jumpy music thing to get her part and mark for my squad.
Yes. A weapon I thought I would just level for MR and then became part of my rotation. That's exactly what it is. I believe the confusion is that that was my take on it, not yiurs. But I understand.
The rogga, got it for fodder, ground it out, sold it, missed it, rebuilt and formad it to death. Was my goto secondary until liche weapons entered the room
Rakta Dark Dagger. Got it years ago back when I initially was getting stuff from Steel Meridian and Red Veil. Thought it was bad and I was hurting for weapon slots at the time being somewhat new still. Its now become a staple with the argonak mod. Kuva/wraith Agronak when?
As something of a hoarder who has been slowly upgrading and requiring discarded weapons there are so many guns I’d discounted as useless that have either revealed their utility as part of a build or become much more viable with newer mods, shard effects and arcanes.
The one I’m having most fun playing around with right now is Zymos. Something about the dentist drill sound effect makes it really rewarding to use.
The first time i crafted Phantasma, i thought it was terrible.
Fast forward a few months and i recrafted the damn thing, builded it and it turned to be my main gun for a long time, carrying me through Steel Path
Well let me list a few of these weapons over the years.
1. Kulstar, I had so much fun with this gun back when the explosion size mods were bigger and I had a riven for cc cd and it was way more fun than I anticipated with pistoleer. I played a ton of it with mirage and let’s just say that back then the engine wasn’t as optimized and I crashed a couple of peoples games.
2. Alarius, I thought it would be complete shit because it didn’t have crit but boy was I wrong and the riven dispo was insane although I think i went too crazy with it because people started to catch on and now the riven dispo is dropping
3. Ocucor, I had leveled this thing and set it aside because I thought it was shit, I didn’t understand it’s passive and I only gave it a second glance because the sentient surge mod I had was worth 230p and I figured I’d find out why, that shit is so much dumb fun
Pre-incarnon, Paris. It was one of the first weapons I really took the time to enjoy. I paired it with Harrow and tried to go for as many headshots as possible.
Post-incarnon Paris just shreds. Big hitbox to make headshots easier, and Longbow Sharpshot to make it even better. The nice adrenaline rush when you headshot with the Paris for 2.1M, and then the next headshot does 6M and pierces through a wave of enemies, just bliss.
I pair it with the Incarnon Kunai and have the path that does more damage in enemies with less than 50% HP. If the Paris doesn't take you out, the Kunai finishes the job.
The Prisma Grinlok! Bought it because it looked cool, sure, but mostly MR Fodder, it’s now my favourite weapon and the weapon I main on my main, Harrow!
I don't use them so much in SP, but my Teo favourite general, sub-100 mission guns are Corinth Prime and Fulmin Prime. I was expecting both of them to just rot in my Prime Collection hoard, but they hit rank 30 and became my lazy Origin guns instantly. 4 forma in, and ive started to be able to use them in lower end sp even
Trumna, thought it was just going to be a gimmick weapon when I saw it labled rifle in the Father's inventory, didn't realize it was a Lmg chambered with explosive rounds and cluster munitions on the side.
The Vermisplicer, specifically primary. Still my favorite "beam" weapon - it has very unique visuals and audio that make it profoundly satisfying. The gun itself looks kinda weird and I wish you could skin it, and other beam weapons are stronger now, but it's good at even Steel Path levels.
I wonder if a riven would be good for it? That would be so hype. Shame I'm poor and don't farm Kuva because it's such a hype weapon.
Also Tombfinger was my favorite AoE after the nerfs. Both have infinite ammo
I was very surprised with the performance of the Tenet Tetra. It's slept on just like the Stahlta.
Another honorable mention goes to the Quellor and Basmu
For me, it would have to be Athodai, I didn't farm for it intentionally. I just had all the blueprints from playing railjack turn out to be a great fit for me.
Arca Scisco, its a sniper pistol with a stacking crit and status chance buff on each shot.
I dont use it as much as I used to, but ive fed it like 5 forma and im not getting rid of my boi.
Tenet spirex can state how insane the damage ramp up is with secondary deadhead and galvanised shot. If you can headshot it, it dies. Makes no difference what faction.
The Buzlok, insanely underappreciated gun. Huge crit buff, multiplicative gunCO, homing bullets, lots of fun.
Came here to say this. Buzlok is heavily slept on and rivens for it are dirt cheap.
I have a multi shot + fire rate riven for it. Paired with primed shred and xata's whisper, it becomes something otherworldly. It deletes archons. A fun side effect is the bullets stay suspended in air in slow motion after the enemy and xata bubble are gone.
This is the Way!
Noting this for later
I second this 100%. I landed myself a pretty solid riven roll with +damage/+cold/+MS and it a fun piece.
I've played this game for nearly a decade and I had to look up what this weapon was. Looks interesting though especially with Rivens.
Back when plains came out it was one of the best Eidolon shredders. Tag a limb, shoot, bam.
Is it still?
Hell yea. One of us, one of us. I love using it on mobs on deimos. Homing on the drop-ship mob and shoulder launcher one makes short work of them.
My riven for it gives crit chance and crit damage. The damage on it is quite silly.
Hate because i had reaper prime. Guess who sold a hate without knowing there was an incarnon.
Uhhhh. Who the hell thinks the Stalker weapons are fodder?(it's me, I, too, thought Reaper Prime > Hate)
Hate and Dread have always been solid but with incarnons all three are top tier. Despair kind of was fodder before the incarnon.
Wait aren't they good at attacks and heavy attacks respectively?
But Hate has an Incarnon while Reaper does not.
Oh right I remember now the only reason I haven't switched is that I have a rlly good riven for the reaper
Just slapped my 4th forma on hate after going through the same process. I was a bit wary about Jade's scythe making it redundant but it doesn't look like that's the case. I guess it has incarnon so it was never going to be bad but still
I like the hate cuz I can relate
The twin kohmak. Literally never saw anyone use it or even heard anyone talk about it. Ranked it up as mr fodder in eso. Noticed it did surprisingly well. Built it up a li'l. And now I love it.
Kohm but better for the most part, just got the kuva kohm, love them all amazing status weapons
I dropped the kohm after the corrosive rework, but once the status changes come in I'm.back baby
Kuva Kohm shreds with the cookie cutter hunter munitions viral build.
Green shards can bring it back to that level too if you have the resources, my setups get the status over like 400% on top of full stripping
Its so underrated i love it
Love its design but it doesn't scale well in sp. I've tried.
it's fairly ammo hungry but I've had a fair share of succes with it
Yeah, it's best as a primer in sp. It can apply a lot of status very quickly, so it's phenomenal with secondary encumber, but in terms of damage output it's tough, especially against grineer.
Cascadia Empowered or Secondary Encumber make any weapon with high enough effective status chance a monster.
For me it was Phantasma prime as well but there was a bigger surprise. The Jat Kusar hit me like a truck, couldn't put that thing down for 2 months straight after building it. Its far from being the best but it tickeled that spark and I still bust it out sometimes to this day.
Jat Kusar and (Ceti) Lacera are really fun weapons. I really enjoy their move sets
Jat Kittag for me. A mace with a jet engine on it? Sign me the fuck up!
Fallout’s Super Sledge. Love it.
Ahhh the fire whip & blade. Yeah, something oddly satisfying about that weapon Archetype. Lacerta tickled my fancy more with its higher status %
Mios too. Got one with a stupid modifier of damage and range. Kusar is my nehzas default melee
THE STHALTA I wish it got a tenet! 😮💨 such a fun gun
Stahlta Cult checking in 🫡
🫡
THERES A CULT?!?!?
Yes, we may be small in number now, but our agents are working in the shadows to make the Tenet Stahlta a reality.
Oooooooo pleaseeeee hearing tenet and stahlta in the same sentence is like toe curling LMFAO
Yes, there are dozens of us
Add in the unreal tournament skin and it's beautiful
I just can't get that damn gun to work for me. I like it, I like it's fire rate, but I just can't get it to be worth its salt in endgame content, and if it can't hold up there. I just can't bother to invest in it. Same goes for the basmu
Definitely agree on basmu, stuck 5 forma in it to make the riven i had viable and still meh
I swear it needs like 1 more spot for primed mag to get like 30 some rounds and it feels like a more complete weapon
Why can that not be an exilus mod? Oh yeah bc then it would be soddin useful
Pretty weird that it and stropha didn't get tenet or prime
I knew the cedo was gonna be good, i didnt expect THAT
It should probably be getting its prime variant within the next year.
Have you tried it with Mesa's Ballistic Battery (her 1) plus the augment Ballistic Bullseye? Charge it up and use cedo secondary fire for a fun time :p

Here's the format Remindme! [Mumber] [day/week/month/year] Example Remindme! 2 days
First gun to have condition overload toox probably what inspired the galvanized mods
the trumna 100%, had no idea it was an aoe lmg with a cracked alt fire
Trumna has a bug where the recoil is so high it removes the camera from your body. Like I'm talking, the camera goes up like 6 feet and stays there till you stop firing.
When your gun pounds you into an out of body experience, it's a keeper.. ;)
I found this one when I tried it on guass due to redline fire rate increase.
Tha karak
Only moved on from it cuz I had to get to higher mr
Scourge. I love it so much. Not the greatest but I like the skins and the damage is still good. Love it on mirage.
Strong Stargate vibes. I love that thing. Also good for wizard cosplay with Dante or similar. If I ever land the barrel I can try the prime version.
Convetrix, weapon is crazy strong and can pump a couple thousand slash procs on a target
I have a riven for it that increases status chance. You can get a funny number of slash procs on things.
Same I have a riven for multishot and status chance. The weapons disposition is so low that the stats on rivens are nuts.
Honestly a great thread to read as a new player who just started crafting their Phantasma last night lol
Glad you got some good info! Don't forget the Alt fire on it!!
This was yeeeeeeears ago like 2016, but the Fragor, the ragdoll animations were just so damn funny and I just couldn't stop using it. Still loving the fragor prime to this day
Kitguns
Awards are back?
I figured Xoris would be a gimmick quest weapon but now I rarely carry any other melee that isn't being leveled, and rarely reach for a gun when electric frisbee usually does the trick. I play casually so the number could be a lot higher, but I've racked up over 71k kills since I got it in like February of this year. It's on its way to becoming my most used weapon.
Xoris carried me so hard during the starchart lol. These days I usually use Praedos but that’s for the sprint and parkour speed boosts. But Xoris wrecks.
Is this with influence? If you don't know about it, brozime has a video on the xoris with influence. it's even more insane
The same happened to me. But I'm not enough Mr to get phantasma prime
Dam... Hell, you'll get there soon, I hope! I can't believe how much I like it though, especially after I discovered it's alt fire!
PHANTASMA HAS AN ALT FIRE?!? MR18 and I’m just now finding this out. I’m about to go to work so I can’t test it, what is the alt fire??
Kind a gernade launcher, arching ball of energy that explodes on impact. Great for longer range or group shots.
It also has guaranteed impact procs! So if you want you can use it for utility with the arcane that gives energy per second on impact proc
Alt fire is an AoE shot
Probiscis cernos. Not the most powerful but very satisfying
The whole Cernos line for me is awesome. I'm more of a Mutalist fan but I soooo get it!
Rakta Cernos was at my side for a long time after its release. Being able to skip out on a Fire Rate mod compared to Paris and Dread at the time was such a nice QoL. I have a Split Flights shotgun bow build with Cernos Prime on Harrow that I mess with.
Burston prime with the incarnon.... Feels like an A10 warthogs minigun haha
I also liked the burston... I just fell harder in love with it when Incarnon came out for it
Not related to the topic but recently tried the laetum crit with high fire rate mods and it has a similar feeling to the burston incarnon, for a shorter amount of time. Melts eximus rogue voidrigs in Elite Archimedea.
The tenet plinx.
Honestly... MANY weapons. If it wasn't for Circuit / EDA i wouldn't have realized how much fun and diverse some of these weapons really are.
The Argonak The rifle itself is kinda meh compared to other rifles But its Amalgam mod is unmatched Suddenly any and every dagger is a steel path and beyond monstrosity
Will have to try this at some point
Have you tried it with the ceramic dagger and it's incarnon yet?
Not yet, I've used a zaw built for status, it is blinding the number of procs filling the screen I've also used the Innodem with Zephyr for that air attack bonus. It melts anything and everything and at range! (I believe her tornados also deal the armour strip effect of the dagger) Ceramic Dagger is next.
Argonak, the holder of Amalgam Metal Auger and Amalgam Serration. Really cool gun, too, if it had better stats.
The fulmin. I also thought I hated shotgun style weapons but after using it for a while I fell in love and fulmin prime is still one of my go tos
Atomos enjoyers rise up
Thank you! That was driving me nuts trying to think of its name.
Tenet cycron. Got a 60% sister, decided to try it, my favorite secondary now.
Mara detron, I thought it was just a crap fodder weapon from baro, now it's my most used secondary.
phantasma and exergis, exergis for my lady mag and phantasma for my second lady gyre. having ton of fun with them
Knell
Since Melee influence: Keratinos. Good slash weighting, inherent viral, and the heavy attack gives you a couple minutes of +2.8m reach. With a good attack speed and 0.8 follow through, it's surprisingly good.
I've got a few I was pleasantly surprised by: Tenet Flux Rifle. Watching a bajillion slash procs burst down a health bar will never not be satisfying. Strun Wraith and Boar Prime. BOOM-BOOM-BOOM. Kuva Drakgoon. Hehehe funny shrapnel go *roomclear* Prisma Twin Gremlins. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr- Ocucor and Battacor. I liked them BEFORE they got an augment. (adjusts glasses) And the Vericres. Man, when I tell you I was fully expecting to hate these things...
Fulmin,The boom stick mode kicks so hard
For me it definitely is the [Quatz], 2 fire modes + reload gimmick. And looks cool AF.
Most bows, really. Kind of thought I wouldn’t enjoy them in such a fast paced game, but they are one of my favorites to use.
On stealth missions, they're essentially the only option. My boy dread makes sure of that
Hytrix (or whatever its called, you can tell by the description) Easy one tone element kills for night wave and i can add the 2 tone elements if it contains the first one tone This is as hard writing as it is reading
Panthera Edit. Corinth (currently farming prime) and tiberon. They're just that bit too handy to voluntarily get rid of them
My Tiberon is absolutely disgusting. I naturally have 180% for the single fire and 11x multiplier. I LOVE that weapon! It is my numero uno!
Mutalist cernos and dual toxocyst. Didnt think they would be any good and didnt really like them at first. But im glad I gave them a shot, and although my build for them isn't finished just yet it is alot stronger than I thought with the right build.
Especially dual toxocyst with the incarnon now, just brings it up like 1000% 😂
Thats on the list to improve the build.
The M Cernos works well with the split flights mod. The fart clouds continuously activate the mod.
Fellow mutalist cernos enjoyer! It really is a great bow.
Mutalist Cernos is an interesting armor stripper if you have green shards on a frame as well. It feels like I fire off one short into a crowd and those gas clouds make everyone armorless damn near instantly.
Rakta Cernos. Maybe because I was lucky with a very good Riven ( cc / cd / tox / -ammo) but I really like it with Ivara
Cinta. Best of the bows. It's absolutely insane.
Convectrix, the slash procs are crazy.
This was the opposite for me and the Paris prime, thought it was nice but then I did new war and got the Nataruk 😆😅
The atomos and then the beam rework happened
Cyanex goes extremely hard for no reason
If anyone told me that the akbronco prime would be as good as it is with mag prime, there's no way I would have believed them.
Flux rifle. It’s just so fun to zap
The miter, with. His augment I like it, and his incarnon form made it useful in sp
Akarius Prime. Turns out it’s hella fun
I was hoping the sporothrix would be as good as it was hard to get. It is.
quassus. i thought it would suck, then it ended up being tigris' badass grandmother on heavy attack
original astilla. I saw the stats and was ready to trash it, then saw how the projectiles worked and heard the reload. the prime stays as a high pick for me.
The cedo. I did use it with lavos but now I main lavos and use it to kill steel path
Prisma dual cleavers. Tennokai kinda goes crazy
Onos I'm pretty sure literally everyone who uses that gun didn't think it was anything special until they entered incarnon mode and went ape shit.
Acceltra. The prime version IS the land speeder you're looking for.
Bruh gotva prime and tenet flux rifle lol. Gotva prime doesnt need to build any crit chance, only crit damage and status and multishot. Tenet flux rifle is also really strong and fun, but ive actually been starting to use cedo with lavos again
Torid… and then I got its incarnon
Embarrassed to say this but Corinth Prime, I don't know why I ever overlooked it but it deals alot of damage and its also a really fun shotgun
Bro... Ceti Lacera with melee influence is insanely fun! I effing love it!
Gotva prime. Aaand laetum. Both really neat in my opinion.
You thought Laetum would be mr fodder?
Might need to reread the title of this thread
Yes. A weapon I thought I would just level for MR and then became part of my rotation. That's exactly what it is. I believe the confusion is that that was my take on it, not yiurs. But I understand.
Spectra vandal, which I found an insane riven for that made it hit hard even against lvl 125 SP heavy gunners.
Paracyst for me, nice riven and it works pretty well even in deep dives.
The rogga, got it for fodder, ground it out, sold it, missed it, rebuilt and formad it to death. Was my goto secondary until liche weapons entered the room
The Onos and Ruvox. I actually love these weapons and use them on one of my Saryns. (Yes I’m a dirty Saryn main since 2014)
The angstrum. Bought the prisma out of curiosity and now it's my most used gun.
Serro
phantasma*
Octavia, was though music didn't fit into warframes, became my steel path main
2. Alarius, I thought it would be complete shit because it didn’t have crit but boy was I wrong and the riven dispo was insane although I think i went too crazy with it because people started to catch on and now the riven dispo is dropping 3. Ocucor, I had leveled this thing and set it aside because I thought it was shit, I didn’t understand it’s passive and I only gave it a second glance because the sentient surge mod I had was worth 230p and I figured I’d find out why, that shit is so much dumb fun
Soma. It used to be good but now a days it just meh. And I still love it.
Ignis Wraith Laetum Lesion Nataruk
Battacor
4 forma in, and ive started to be able to use them in lower end sp even
Atomos. Love that thing. Thought it’d be a level up and dump weapon.
Trumna, thought it was just going to be a gimmick weapon when I saw it labled rifle in the Father's inventory, didn't realize it was a Lmg chambered with explosive rounds and cluster munitions on the side.
Vaykor marelok... the augment for multishot is just fun man 😁
For some dumb reason i enjoy grabbing the Komorex for sniper only sorties, fun to use and dope reload animation.
I really disliked praedos at first. Didn't even bother getting all the upgrades on it. I was so very very wrong.
Aklex, Now it's my Main Secondary, Even at Mr 13 As of now, Aklex prime is barely an upgrade so it's not worth the hassle at all.
For me, it would have to be Athodai, I didn't farm for it intentionally. I just had all the blueprints from playing railjack turn out to be a great fit for me.
bro no one told me the catabolyst is a heat viral corrosive piss beam that melts enemies especially with its augment
Ripkas. With the amalgam mod it’s perfect for Nekros.
Twin Grakatas. At first, just some dual pistols that shoot fast and go burr. Now they melt everything and are an essential part of my kit.
