I drilled the hole for the spear to slot through the fist before I cut the bolted from the handā¦ my thinking was the more plastic I had to hold the easier it would be to drill, and then when I put the spear through and he still had the gun, I thought it looked pretty cool.
I might sculpt some sort of bolter gauntlet attachment so it makes sense.
Also he is magnetised and has a separate base for when he isnāt riding his chariot, and the spear is removable.
That is awesome, you are Now legaly obligated to give us uppdates constantly on progress and when its Done, some guides for us others to follow to recreate and expand on this concept.
Its seriusly awesome and its great to see!
Thanks! Comments like these are really motivating beyond just enjoying doing it.
I thought about maybe videoing what Iām doing, but honestly I donāt know how YouTubers get the camera angles. I tried filming my hands, but my head keeps either getting in the way of the light or the cameraā¦ itās harder than it looks!
Excellent work, I love this. I highly reccomend getting some deadly print studios custodes jetbike engine exhaust effects- i got some for my heresy jetbikes and they fit perfectly. Will really sell the momentum of this build!

make sure you get the āthruster bigā option, its what I used on my jetbikes. Your welcome to pop onto my account and find my work and how I painted them. They come clear, So Inwould want to give them a contrast or ink glaze so you can take advantage of that clearness, and then drybrush and edge highlight the base area like your doing regular OSL effects. :) Good luck with this build!! Its turning out so cool
How are you planning on supporting it for the final piece? I could see one central stand between the "horses" and one holding the chariot being sufficient. I could also see some carefully positioned foliage "brushing against" the speeders for support.
Going to buy one of those magnetic floating globes and break it apart for bits and then have it float for realsies.
But if that doesnāt work, maybe foliage as you said, or a lad getting fucking taken out and steamrolled, one foot on the ground, broken neck on the grill.
Yeah it does hark back to chariots. The Roman actually only used chariots āquadrigaā with four horses for entertainment. The war chariots typically only had two horses and were used by many other ancient peoples.
As this is a war chariot I went for two āhorsesā, also I think 4 really would have been too many.

It looks nice but I think both of the bikes should go a bit more parallel to each other. Right now because of the angle it looks like one just got deactivated and is starting to fall

I think from the front it looks different - or do you think it still looks off?
I wanted to capture the spirit of two wild horses, some character and chaos, if they are side by side uniformly they sort of look, rigidā¦ you might be right that it could look better. But I like the look that the charioteer has to fight to keep this in control!
No Roman themed! Roman symbols are the wolf, lightning bolts, eagles, laurel wreathes, fasces, gladius style swords, etc etc
Strangely all the symbols of the imperium, so it hasnāt been at all tricky to get bits that contain those animals and symbols!
Excellent, I was showing this to some chums and we were hoping it was a dry fit / test fit and your sketch - which doesn't have all the wolf nonsense on it - looked great. The terminator really captures the aesthetic already. Bravo, can't wait to see the next update
Now, this is pod racing
![gif](giphy|CuMiNoTRz2bYc|downsized)
Can i add a request to make your build more complicated and insane?.. make the energy beam that connects the 2 pods and have LED's placed in it š
Hey that was my comment!
Womp womp
That's looking so great man! I remember seeing the sketches a week or two ago and thinking "thats gonna be so cool" lol.
That would be awesome for traitor iron warriors who totally arenāt the ancestral Minotaurs
Wow this is coming along nicely, how is he holding both the spear and the combi-bolter though?

Gonna need six of these for my thousand sons lmao
That looks sick af I love it
this is so fucking rad
now *this* is podracing!

I was trying to find something like this!! Do you have a link?

Thatās perfect!! Thank you I had a look at your work and much of it is really high quality, so the painting tips are appreciated too
R U L E of C O O L
this is goofy and ridiculous and I love it!
This is bloody phenomenal!!
I'm so invested in this project for no apparent reason. Great work, looking forward to seeing it finished!
Wow, I knew it was gonna turn out great, but It looks really well-done already!
This is so amazing. I may have to steal the idea
I am LOVING this project!
The madlad actually did itā¦.

You are a genius and a madman.
This is incredible
This hearkens to Ben-Hur. This is very cool. The Legionnaire looks like, "I don't need no stinking Servitor". Will you share once it's painted?

It's a very dramatic set-up. more dynamic than the typical "speeder". thank you for sharing. Have a good day and "forward into oblivion".
This looks soooo dumb! I love it!!
Thanks! Warhammer will always be kitsch af so might as well lean in

Oh thatās cool!
I may steal this idea for iron warriors. Im thinking just make it more mechanical, attach the "horses" via robot limbs.
looks super dope but maybe you have legs that are mirrored (left knee bent)?
No these legs I had to make custom like that on purpose, I wanted it like that!
Awesome
Its coming along nicely
It looks nice but I think both of the bikes should go a bit more parallel to each other. Right now because of the angle it looks like one just got deactivated and is starting to fall

I would lower the angle on the right one or put the front of left one a bit higher.
I wanted to capture the spirit of two wild horses, some character and chaos, if they are side by side uniformly they sort of look, rigidā¦ you might be right that it could look better. But I like the look that the charioteer has to fight to keep this in control!
It's very cool, but question, is this a space wolves project?

Yeah I think the wolf looks cool! Iām glad itās there
