Bed bugs generally bite extremities and in a line.

BrokenSewerDrain

Nobody can ID a bug from a bite, even a doctor. The only indicator would be the somewhat linear pattern as bed bugs tend to bite in a line. Check your bedding and mattress. Look around seams. They like to hide.

Probably fleas. I'm dealing with them now. I don't have a pet that has fleas!! We are bombing during the holiday. Regular bed bug and flea spray is helping so far. Damn upstairs neighbors had them and didn't tell me. They have moved.

Is it stingy or burny at all? It doesn't have the classic look of shingles--that is to say, from this picture I can't see little pinpricky dots or tiny pustules--but the location of it is suspicious, as that's a prime spot for shingles to appear. Keep your eye out for any little tiny blisters, or worsening, searing pain, and seek early treatment if that's the case.

I agree the picture makes it hard to confirm but I also think it might be shingles. If it is, the sooner you get to a doctor/or pharmacist (depending on where you live) to get treatment the better. If left too long shingles can cause permanent nerve damage. Are there any other signs of illness? Fever?

Ant bites look like this on me.

Spider would surely be your instinct...
