I haven't read the manga or the novel, but I have watched the anime. Based on what I saw in the anime, Tanya herself does everything possible to be left on the front line. Well, that is, she is a super loli and follows orders exactly and always brings victory and maximum profit, but this is precisely what makes the higher ranks believe that her place is on the front line.
She was too competent early on; Being less efficient now would raise concerns about treason/sabotage/otherwise intentionally poor performance. And (if I remember right) she was working hard initially because that's how it worked in the previous world. So yeah, like the other comment said, victim of her success lol
So true. Part of the psychopathic personality is never accepting responsibility or being the one at fault. It's always someone else's fault for you not succeeding or even them sabotaging you.

Hmm, I think a meme that would work for Tanya would be something like her tossing away the stick saying "why would I want to deliberately fail at biking as fast as she could go", and then she runs into a wall of frontline fighting or something, to which she she curses Being X, because she blames him for constantly being given more frontline work, but it's her own fault because she refuses to stop excelling at her job.
