_You know it's impossible to control it completely; Once I release it, I have no say._ Me: Yup. Zeru's getting wastelanded.

statefarmguy1799

Kurama during the entire game master/Elder Toguro (Gourmet) episodes: **I have no regrets, Yusuke** *Snaps off Gourmet’s head without having a single thought* (to Elder Toguro) **You’ve survived for too long. And now it ends.**

No_Improvement7573

When Zeru starts flexing his fire powers and Hiei's face looks like he's being threatened with a good time

Particular_Minute_67

Rewatching it and when karasu starting blowing up kurama with the bombs. It was more of a “ oh shit this is gonna hurt “

NyappyCataz

The first VHS copy I ever owned of YYH happened to be a two or three episode segment including that one. Still one of my favorite fights.

Wildefice

When yusuke slapped the shit out of keiko to snap her out of shock

isamudragon

For me it was when he was pummeling Sensui, while trash talking him, and all the sudden you hear the gun shot.

drshields

Yup. I was like "I have no idea wtf is gonna come from this"

DarkEnigma321

When Tuguro went into 80% of his power at the start of Yusuke vs Tuguro. *Tuguro kicks his brother out the stadium* Tuguro: Sorry about that Yusuke. But this fight will have no interruptions or unfair trickery. Its just you, and me. (Paraphrasing) Yusuke: Thats good. Because now its personal. Tuguro: YOU THINK THIS ISNT PERSONAL FOR ME? I WILL START AT 80%!!!! *Tuguro goes 80%* Me as a kid: Wow Yusuke what have you done..

Final-Government8622

Bakken pummeling a defenseless Kurama…Yusuke was ready to spirit gun him and forfeit the tournament

NyappyCataz

Their brotherly love for each other as a team really stood out to me in that situation. No matter what they face or how injured \*they\* become, their compassion for each other is so real.

NyappyCataz

I don't know if this quite qualifies but for me it was every time during a fight that Kurama would calmly explain what he did/was doing to harm his opponent, how brutal and often unending. Also whenever he had a real underdog moment, like when he planted those seeds into himself during the fight with Toya. His first fight with that rock beast, he ended it so elegantly, but he let the beast see the stone in his hand, and process what was going to happen first... The sanguineous monster of a flowering plant that sucked Karasu dry. The killing tree he used for Elder Toguro. A close second for me would be when Hiei was about to release his dragon of the darkness flame, and gave his opponents just enough of a hint of what was about to happen that it instilled some fear and doubt in them, but even after "understanding", every one of them got something far worse than what they anticipated.

FlamingChangeling

Just everything Suzuga does before Genkai finally tries

Jubei92

When that gangster dude tries to bribe Hiei with Yukina and her tears of jewels.

Shadowkinesis9

So many great moments. I loved Bui's introduction and his subsequent fight with Hiei. The Darkness Flame absorption was crazy.
