I agree. If you only have access to your own stalk market, you really have to buy low (prices under 100 and ideally under 90) and then use one of the calculators to sell at the optimum time on your island, avoiding weeks that are unlikely to have a bad price pattern. That’s not always practical for adults.m, since you have to check prices twice a day, in the morning and after noon.
Along with crops, selling fish to CJ and bugs to Flick is a good way to make money.
Honestly the way I make bells is I plant as many non native fruit trees in my island and nooks cranny buys each fruit for 500 bells! You can see which fruit is your native fruit in the cabinet in nooks cranny, they only sell your native fruit at the bottom of the list, if she then goes to a mystery island they usually have different fruit trees, plant as many as she can on her island, after she sells all the fruit on her trees it grows back after 3 days, 20 fruit trees will give her 60 fruit which she can sell for 30,000! The more she plants the more she can sell and the more bells she can make, this way takes time and a bit of space, I have a corner of my island as just an orchard until I get all the bells I need!
Also collect All the sea shells everyday to sell and catching ocean fish makes more money than river or pond fish!
Once you have black or blue roses, harvest the flowers every time they bloom (and encourage their reproduction). Then DIY something with them. A black rose wreath (10 flowers) gets you $20,000 bells when you sell it.
I have a bunch of bells on my account, deffs have some I could give her for free just as a nice thing to do. I have so many and I don't play much anymore. Would just need to set up a time to meet up and I can drop them off to her :)

Only good money if your willing to spend hours with someone selling [14 trips was my single latgest sell of turnips. Total payout was around 80m bells

Pumpkins!!!! Make sure to water them everyday in order to get three pumpkins per plant. They make good money.
