Can't you put a small O-ring in the nozzle to limit the airflow?
Might be a strange comparison, but my revolver shoots 2J by default, but i got special (narrow) shells that limit it to 1J.
But, doesn't it work like that with any replica?
Change a spring, swap a nozzle, do whatever, and its "illigal" again? For the LMG, and most other guns, you need to open up the gun to change it. So, it isn't an "on the fly" change.
I doubt they can prevent you from ever working on your gun, because how else would you do maintenence?
Take the revolver i gave as an example, it is field legal, it has never NOT passed a check. But i could double its output for a single shot without anyone being any the wiser, and no one could prove it unless they find the shell in question.
(Full invasive strip search anyone?)
Rules are there for everyones safety, but people who have the intention can and will break the rules.
I don't wan't to argue with you. Following the rules is the number one priority. I just wan't to say that "it not being possible because you can reverse the limiting factor" would go for any replica, so by that logic nothing should be allowed.
You can do maintenance and stuff, but If you modify anything inside the gun and dont let a gunsmith do it, without having any official papers of the modification, you are completely fucked
"The more you know."
Quite interesting, i didn't expect the German government to require airsoft modifications to be done by actual "gunsmiths". I knew about the "F" mark, and that full auto guns are required to shoot below 0.5J, but not that you had these types of requirements and restrictions as well.
(I'm from the Netherlands myself.)
No, GBB is fine, but everything that Runs over 0.5J has to be semi locked, marked with an F and has to be Impossible to unblock the semi or you will get fined/Go to jail
As Long as its full Auto, its Not allowed, Not even if you can Mod it to shoot semi with parts(which a gunsmith has to do for you or you illegally modified your gun)
The VFC m249 has a trigger group size almost exactly to the real thing, not sure if semi m249s fire closed or open bolt, but if they do fire open bolt a weapon smith could install the real semi trigger group. It would be supper expensive though.
That mad lad has got a short chain of ammo so let's guess he had less than 100 rounds before the firefight. So the original VFC feed cover mounted magazine holding 100 bbs comfortably would be fine. Sure the converted m249 wouldn't have a 1:1 field strip, but you'd have your 30cal. Honestly the hardest part of a conversion like that would be the rear mounted sear, since the body is litteraly a box. I might sit down and do some designs...
*cries in German*

Nope, because you could Just buy a new o-ring and make it Higher Joule again

What is the deal with gbb in Germany? Is it illegal?

I don't know what they would do for open bolt SMGs, they are full auto guns with extra parts that make them shoot semi
As Long as its full Auto, its Not allowed, Not even if you can Mod it to shoot semi with parts(which a gunsmith has to do for you or you illegally modified your gun)
Damn, if I can't modify my own airsoft guns I'm sticking to real steel. You guys can own like old surplus bolt actions and stuff right?
Meh, only with a license or if it has a Close welded and Metall filled Barrel etc
"What did we learn from Nazis" "absolutely nothing"
That's not at all true...
Also helps with people who don't take their hits. :) :) :)

Stop I am already broke.
I need a gas blowback M1919 30 cal. No idea how it would work but I need it
It would work exactly like the VFC m249... Hell, all you would need to do is design a new body and rear firing sear mechanism and bam, you got one.
But you can't run around the Congo with a 30 cal and a box mag, it has to be belt fed
You could always keep the original feedtray cover mounted mags.
But then I can't be [this guy](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWBcBEk9T5g) (1.33 in video)

**I** need more gbb lmgs. Send it over to sweden Edit: whoopsie daisy
They can't make an EBB system completely seperate from the gearbox with adjustable timing?
