Before anyone asks Yes, it runs. I have about 200 rounds through it, and I haven't had any major issues yet. This is a major W for this project.

Funky0ne

What's it powered by?

JackCooper_7274

The action is cycled via HPA

Harry_Hardlong

why no footage of it firing?

JackCooper_7274

Because I'm keeping things relatively hush hush until the final release

Skipspik2

You're an idiot with a working autocannon, so nope, not arguing with you.

Ferm330

lets goooo!

I need an hmg

"Fumbles are bound to happen" -Murphy's Law in pre-alpha. Do you have any plans to adjust your models for ergonomics or to have someone else do it? It seems like you prioritized function over form and that leaves it looking like the Mega Blocks of airsoft lol. If you find a proven professional then go with that, but if you want an amateur hobbyist to try his hand I'm willing to give it a shot.

JackCooper_7274

All of the files will be out for free, including the .f3d and .step files, so anyone with basic 3D modeling software can modify my design as they please. I haven't had any complaints raised about ergonomics by any of the beta testers, but I guess we'll see when the files go public.

ConnectExit1681

Yeah I can tell that you have all the edges filleted/curved so I can imagine there aren't any huge comfort problems. I was thinking along the lines of adjusting the handle angle for a little more comfort. And maybe optimizing some parts for 3D printing, such as adding divots for rigidity that could also reduce filament use and be printed with minimal support.

JackCooper_7274

Believe me, I have gone to extreme lengths in optimizing parts for 3D printing. I do it for my job :D The grip angle thing depends more on what you're planning to mount it to, and how high it is relative to your shoulders. If you're just using a tripod on the ground, then you would want to angle the grips forward a bit. If you're planning to use it from a trench or barricade, you might want them angled back a bit. I decided to just split the difference and leave them straight. like I said earlier, anyone can come and change the model to suit them better.

Eduard_I_DeMallorca

I can help you with the electronics, and also, do you have the files or a plan?

JackCooper_7274

No electronics here, mate! 100% mechanical gas blowback. My plan is to finish this project, make a video for my yt, and then release the files and a build guide for free. Same as all my other projects.

Eduard_I_DeMallorca

FUCK! You're a youtuber! I can still help you if you want too.

MasterpieceGuilty983

How can i find your yt channel?

JackCooper_7274

Linked on my profile. The name is also my profile pic lol
