Yup, they are known to paint their armor on what ever they want/need. Amongst them, other legions/chapters heraldry.
The stealth division is described in the earlier books to have dark/black armor so I'd assume they're part of the stealth division

Sometimes alpha legion armor is described as purple too, you can’t be the sneakiest and easily identifiable

In legion the effrit stealth squad are described as wearing armor that was so deep blue it looks almost like pure black

Because they commissioned the artist to give them black armor instead of blue armor.
