He also didn’t have any performances that I can consider decent. They were all terrible. He was off pitch but like what I mentioned yesterday, there is a pureness to his tone that might have made him sound better if he was on pitch, particularly on tender ballads.
He was also the first contestant to make it far purely off a sob story. The remaining eight have at least one performance that I can say was decent.
The fact that the season 1 male finalists were 4 gays and Justin really goes to show how much the viewer demographics changed over the course of the seasons ✨
