As far as I know, there's no such equipment, but there's a design quirk - "[Extended Torso Twist](https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Design_Quirks#Extended_Torso_Twist)" - that does exactly that.

If you need them to grab stuff that humans put places, they need to be able to move places humans move. The human body plan is pretty utilitarian.
