The best razor I've ever used for my bikini line is a Henson, which is technically a safety razor, but the quality is unmatched. I think I paid $100CAD which came with 100 refills (yes, 100!), so it pays for itself in about a year as opposed to using disposable razors. I use it everywhere — legs, bikini, armpits, you name it!

Have you tried Fur Oil? It's expensive but will clean those rashes right up. A little goes a long way. It was recommended to me by my sugar girl before I started at-home ipl. This stuff saved me from all the drama associated with increased frequency of shaving.

I used to get awful ingrown hairs! I don’t need to use a shaving cream or anything with this. I shave my pits every other day and my private / legs weekly and one cartridge last me like 2-3 months. (I don’t leave in shower i immediately put it up and let it dry)
I also only shave with the grain in my private / pits. I don’t get any ingrowns anymore! After I shave I will spray rubbing alcohol or witch hazel (got that from a stripper on here) it’s amazing. When that is dry I will put natives deodorant only on the “pube” area. It works amazing there and not with my pits it makes them stink lol. Such a game changer!! You can also match them with the scent you’re trying to go with. I keep kicking myself bc I threw away my cocoa one before thinking of using it that way!
I use a Hanni safety razor on my legs/bikini line before IPL. initial cost is kind of steep but the replacement blades are super cheap, and between using it & IPL I rarely get ingrown hairs or razor burn. Previously used Dollar Shave Club/Gillette multi blade razors that always have me razor burn. I just use regular hair conditioner instead of shaving cream too - usually whatever I bought on a whim that didn't agree with my hair.
Post shower/shave I apply TendSkin to bikini area, or Gigi No Bump in a roll-on, depending on which one I have on hand.
I’ve been using Billie razor for years and I follow it up with Tend Skin which is worth every penny. Sometimes I shave with Tree Hut shaving oil but the Billie razors are just fine on their own.
Men’s razors can give you the closest shave BUT beware of the gnarliest ingrowns you’ve ever experienced.
