Let’s just take a second to admire that work for what it is. An Impressive feat!
My goodness that would have taken some work. In my suburb people got a trolley up a tree near one of the bus stops. That was less impressive given it’s size and location but made for quite the art installation.
He's done it Mark. I can't believe it, but he's just gone and bloody done it. The crowd is going nuts! This hasn't just beaten the previous record, it has obliterated it! You could see the look of disbelief on the other competitors faces as he lined up the shot, like, what was he thinking? Then we all watched in awe as he lifted the bin majestically through the air and into the top tier. I mean ... I'm not sure what else to say. Marvellous. Just bloody marvellous.

if you see someone who has crashed there car while driving you wind down your window and yell out, ‘you can’t park there mate’.
Theres a few videos of people doing it
Ah so it's not just a single meme video. Yeah I love watching those videos and seeing how mad they get
This [one](https://youtube.com/shorts/OIKvNuKAId8?feature=share4) is probably my favourite
Yeah… it’s so heartbreaking 😞 the number of animals strewn all over the place once the water receded was absolutely awful. I don’t think I’ll ever get visions of seeing livestock trying to swim in floodwater out of my head
There were stories of cow carcasses being found in trees near Canberra way back when. They figured the snow had been high enough for the cows to walk amongst the tops of the trees then get stuck when it melted.
I'm not sure if I'm underestimating how much force it would take, but maybe really strong wind catching one of these the right way could do it too?
The last time I saw my bin in the floods was when it was circling a big vortex with a lot of other bins, I still don't know where those ended up.
Rope. Dude climbs tree with rope, get it over a branch drops the rest down to mates. Mates tie bin and hoist it up, dude in tree positions bin and unties rope then climbs down. Ezpz, like 5-10 minutes max.
Mate and I used to make "art" like that years ago and hang things in the fig tree that is encircled by the pedestrian bridge that crosses Hale St. Kerbside collection was especially lucrative...we once got 5 pedestal fans up there and though it was quite a statement (wind blowing the fans instead of vice versa), among various other items of discarded miscellany.
Most of the time the coppers couldn't catch a cold, let alone some drunken morons hanging rubbish from a tree at the end of a dark street next to a freeway...but you're right, in hindsight it was silly, but we still have a laugh about it.
Did you see the "Lime" scooter hanging on a rope from a bridge over the Brisbane River? GPS would have shown it as being on the bridge. " I'm telling you boss, it's not here - oh wait..."

They must be relatives or two different species nesting in SEQLD
This is what I was thinking lol. The amount of random shit scattered everywhere after the floods is crazy. Someone I know still has her side table stuck in a tree next door. Mainly a lot of like soft plastics strung in trees. Apparently a washing machine on the powerlines.
Hay bales everywhere. Dead animals. Shipping containers, a caravan, a JetSki still on its trailer all just wherever.
Pretty sure someone’s house slid down into a creek because all that was left were the front stairs. :/
Just everything everywhere.
I once seen a shopping trolley on top of a KFC bucket sign….

it's a bin chicken nest......
Good to see the council getting in on putting up nestboxes for native birds
I don’t know how this comment doesn’t have a bazillion up-votes!!
More like a binzillion up-votes!!
At the time of writing you have more for your comment, now that’s irony.
"THE BIN CHICKEN" - Netflix documentary
You jest, but https://youtu.be/w4dYWhkSbTU
This is amazing! Can't believe I haven't seen it before
I came here to say that

Amen!!
I bet it was some drunk guy in the middle of the night muttering "this is gonna be a fuckin bit of art" as he pulled the bin up the branches.
Haha probably!
Looks like flood debris. You should see the massive truck tyres in the trees near Jindalee.
And the piano in the tree at Clermont.
Pics or it didn’t happen … lol
Challenge accepted 😁 https://preview.redd.it/bk36vqwk8i1b1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5e843665d63847b76515821e94e3008e6fdb82e1
Whereabouts in Jindalee exactly? I know the area well and haven't noticed them.
Right near the bridge.
That would be something to check out! God just randomly deciding to redecorate the trees during the last flood 😆😆.
Haha I wouldn't be calling these guys illegally dumping toxic trash into our waterways as "gods" but I get where you're coming from. 🤣
Well yeah no. Just a joke haha.
I appreciate you
Listed on realestate dot com as a one room bedsit with a great view. 780 bucks a week.
When can I inspect? Will I have to share with another?
Sorry, it's gone already.
*makes post to Reddit about terrible rental situation*

im jus waitin for a m8
The combination of 2 memes i didn’t think i needed but now i want
Wait I didn't even realise the first guy's comment was another meme. Which one is it if you don't mind me asking?

How....how did anyone even manage that? Good effort
Floods my friend. In 2011, there was a park bench in the large gumtree at the Bertha Street park in goodna.
After the Lismore floods there were fridges 2 stories high in trees. It’s wild what floods can do.
I remember years back there was an old Holden Ute (around FB vintage) stuck high in the fork of a gumtree beside a highway in Kerang, Victoria.
Also a fridge is a big sealed box of foam insulation and air, they *will* float.
You’d probably be shocked by what ended up in trees after the floods down here
It was awful, no words for it. I grew up there and went down to help friends and family in the recovery.
I've seen cows having floated in the flood and then had their necks caught in the fork of a tree :(
Cows have been known to get their necks caught when *on the ground*. :(
Yeah… it’s so heartbreaking 😞 the number of animals strewn all over the place once the water receded was absolutely awful. I don’t think I’ll ever get visions of seeing livestock trying to swim in floodwater out of my head
... floodwater out of your head - you should see a doctor.

Oh definitely. Furniture and just random shit in the weirdest places.

Empty bin, garbo picked it up as quick as possible and released the claw at the exact right moment to send it flying.
They placed it on top of the sapling roughly 45 years ago and it’s just grown with it since
Damn, slap a placard at the bottom of the tree and call it an art installation. The way it's tucked in there with the lid closed is so neat.
Seconded!!
Where ya bin mate?
Nah where ya wheely bin???
It dang gone up a tree ya yobbo!!
![gif](giphy|3oEjI789af0AVurF60)
Yeah, depending on the suburb I can see how the aliens got confused
I love this guy. I'm always blaming ancient aliens 😁

Lucky the police didn’t catch you!!

I didn't but that's pure gold.
Haha fair enough!
Gotta be a 2 man job
Still up there from the 1893 flood.
I have the same bin made in 1890

Single bedroom apartment excellent views $500 per week
Nah mate, that’s a studio appt.
So they grow on trees ! I never would have guessed. 👏 😲
Not from any flood just fyi
Is that a drop bear trap?
Thats something you don't see every day
Omg. Somebody threw a perfectly good tree to the trash. Smh
The garbage truck flipped it's shit and went berserk
"I put a wheelie bin in a tree, dad." "Good work, son."
The rare wheeliebin tree
They harvest them when the lid turns red.
Lismore?

Looks like a portable possum house.
Oscar's tree house?
I usually get mad at vandalism but that’s actually impressive
I have photos somewhere of one of those half sized trolleys upside down on top of a full sized phone booth. Not as impressive as this though.
I bet the owners are blaming "Those bloody kids down the street" for stealing their bin too! #BloodyWindy!
I don’t agree with it. But I respect their skill.
Where have you wheelie bin? Up a tree
Bin chicken nest.
Where’s you wheely been
Bin chicken nest Edit: someone beat me to the joke lol damnit
wow, that looks wheelie high up
I think that this belongs on r/Interestingasfuck
oh my
That's different
Everybody's so creative!
That's certainly impressive! Perhaps an overworked garbage truck? Where is it?
Steal my trash now Garbo… check and mate.
People can't put their dog shit in your bin if it's up the tree
Now set it on fire and the molten plastic makes a cool sound as it drips to the ground (if my teenage youth memories are correct)
Voooop, voooop.
Have you never seen a bin chicken nest?
There's a dozen or so along Enoggera Creek from the flood. Have fun trying to find them all from a kayak.
But what?
I feel like it was thrown from an apartment building
[удалено]
come on we all know this was drunk idiots and they didn't happen to just have a rope handy lol
when the neighbour leaves their bin on the road outside your house so you can't park:
When my neighbor doesn’t bring their bins in and it’s been 6 days:
Bin chickens getting restless again.
How is the truck gunna empty it up there?
I’ve bin there before.
Nest for Bin Chicken ?
This reminds me of the kids book Stuck.

Where's ya bin? Aw, just at the family's for the weekend. No, where's ya wheelie bin? Aw, alright, I's wheelie bin at the pub...
I pity the poor Garbo who's got to try and collect that each week.
A hero has been born, I think we have found Australia's strong man!
Whoever did that should be the Olympic mascot
Impressive 👏🏼
Garbo's had enough of the cereal boxes in the red bin
Australian nature and wildlife never stops amazing me ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
I’m both confused and impressed on how that got to the top branch of that tree
Left from a flood
My 7 year old saw a traffic cone in a tree yesterday and he was so surprised. His entire tone and pitch of voice changed as he pointer it out and enquired about it. Told everyone single person he saw that day about it. Absolutely blew his mind.
My eyesight is so horrendous I thought I was looking at a phone in a tree before I zoomed the heck in
Probably just a bird trying to make a nest and thought that could be used.
🛸
The Bin Industrial Complex doesn't want you to know this but bins actually grow on trees as shown in this photo
Anybody sprung to mind the scene of the car falling from Jurassic park? 1st movie instead it’s a bin lol
Can’t park there mate
Shot an arrow to it. Might be a korok hiding
Prob has a koala in it be careful of those critters
So that's where it went....
It’s either flooding or dipshits, and in this case I think we can safely assume team dipshit is a point up!
It's the green waste bin
See stuff like this on the northern rivers after a big flood
The stories this bin contains
Honestly I'm just impressed
Wasn’t me, I haven’t bin there.
Wheely high up :(
If you put up a rope barrier around it you could move it to an art gallery and sell it for millions
Looks like someone has bin pretty angry!!
Ok, I've got questions.... 🤣🤣
don't you hate it when they spawn there.

Another sunny day in Brisbane
That’s wheel-y up there
