The Body, for sure. It’s such a bummer. Honestly sometimes I’ll just skip over to Once more with feeling and go from there, because so much of that season is so sad!! Heartbreak after heartbreak.
OP- I love hush, it’s one of my favorites!
I haven't watched this episode in decades despite numerous show rewatches. My mom was I'll for a long time and this episode was basically my biggest fear. Then this is basically what happened to my mom in 2016. So nope! I will never be okay enough to watch this episode again.
My sister bumped into Kal Penn last week in a pub in Dublin and she said she knew him from Beer Bad and even he said what? That’s the worst rated episode ever. She also says he was the nicest guy
I get restless and a bit bored with Ted, but I am a sucker for total and complete rewatching of the complete series. For me it's like a journey and every episode make sense in the continuum
Also Beer bad but when she hit Parker on the head I am so delighted. Every time. Boink!
i’m the same with ted i just can’t deal with no one believe buffy about it makes me so mad after everything they can’t believe he might be evil 😂 especially her mum 🙃
The mother not believing her is utterly terrifying. It's the precondition of parental abuse. They got it so right. But poor Joyce doesn't come out very well. As in Gingerbread.
Hush is frakking awesome. It's a credit to the actors being so talented that you can understand everything they're doing or feeling with no voice whatsoever.
And that scene where Xander walks in and from his position it looks like Spike is about to bite Anya and he jumps him and beats him up gets me in stitches every time LOL. Especially when Anya gets so horny that she makes a circle with her fingers and sticks her other finger into it signing she wants to bang Xander.
I don’t skip any episodes when I do a full rewatch but I’ve never put on I Robot, You Jane unless I’m rewatching the whole series. My least favorite episode for sure. Where the Wild Things Are is close behind, but at least that one has Giles covering the Who and some fun Anya moments!
It’s true that I Robot, You Jane introduced Jenny and gave us the line, “If you’re not jacked in, you’re not alive,” but overall I find it to be a slog!
The Body, because it's done very well, to the point that anyone with an even close real life experience is going to be hit hard.
Also the musician. I don't like it.
Empty Places and Dead Man’s Party - I get far too much anxiety watching group onto one person confrontations like that. . Skipping EP also has the knock on effect of skipping Touched because it’s so tied to it, watching the scoobies become emotionless and unempathetic robots for the episode is too frustrating
As You Were - a genuinely terrible episode that outside of the final scene is utterly pointless and feels like a weird back door pilot that was clearly never going to happen
Hush is a great episode, but I'm usually more listening to a show while I play a game, and there's not so much dialogue 😄
I might play the overhead projector scene and then go on my way.
The Body - just hits a little too close to the mark for comfort. One of the greatest episodes of television in any genre no doubt and one that everybody should see at least once but it's definitely one that you need to be prepared for. Not a fun watch at all.
I always skip Hell's Bells and Superstar, Hell's Bells is a terrible episode and when Superstar first aired I really didn't enjoy it, I've not been able to shake that dislike since!
Objectively it is a funny episode but my unhelpful brain also equates it with disappointment, I think because I was waiting week by week for episodes 'Superstar' felt like a massive let down after 'Who Are You?' to impatient teenage me
Normal Again. It just takes me out of the story, and I lose a lot of immersion. I don’t like it, and the whole episode leaves me with a very icky feeling.
Thirding this!
I like the silly ones that others seem to skip, like I Robot You Jane, Beer Bad or Go Fish, and can deal with the heavy ones like The Body or Seeing Red, but Normal Again makes me feel real squicked out and the ambiguous ending messes with my head too much!
I kinda drift off sometime in the middle of season 6 and then by the time I remember I wanted to watch Buffy it's been long enough I start over from the beginning
The one in s6, where trio enslave and try to rape Katrina. Its just disgusting and I cant watch it. And most of Warren in general.
And I have never seen Superstar (? the one where Jonathan is a bigger hero than Bufy).
Listening to Fear is one of my least favorite episodes along with Where rhe Wild Things are and Beer Bad.
And I tend to end season 4 with Primevil. I have no interest in Restless.
I've only done 2 rewatches after my first watch through when it was airing. I don't skip any episodes. My most recent rewatch was with my wife and she had never seen it so we watched all of them.
Dead Man’s Party, Where the Wild Things Are, Wild at Heart, The Wish, Ted, Superstar, and Beer Bad
I also wasn’t a huge fan of the later seasons, so I don’t think I’ve ever rewatched any of the S7 episodes
Seeing Red, but honestly I don't like season 6-7, so The Gift is the series finale as far as I'm concerned. I know I'll get crucified for this but it's just my opinion.
Normal Again, I absolutely despise that episode.
I usually skip Ted and I Robot, You Jane. I don’t hate them like I do Normal Again but they just dont hold up very well
Superstar. I think it's boring. Also that episode where Riley and Buffy are stuck in some kind of sex crazed spell. That one was a bit too out there for me.
The body is the only episode I skip and I dont do it on every rewatch but its to similar to my own personal life.
This one. I don’t like skipping episodes even if I’m not a fan of them, but I can’t handle rewatching The Body.
Yeah I’ll pass on that unless I’m sharing a watch through with someone. Which these days probably isn’t happening
Oh it’s an awfully sad episode.
Sorry to hear that :(
The Body, for sure. It’s such a bummer. Honestly sometimes I’ll just skip over to Once more with feeling and go from there, because so much of that season is so sad!! Heartbreak after heartbreak. OP- I love hush, it’s one of my favorites!

Same :( sorry for your loss/losses
I agree, I watched this episode shortly after losing my first pregnancy and it was too close to home
Beer Bad and Where the wild things are.
My sister bumped into Kal Penn last week in a pub in Dublin and she said she knew him from Beer Bad and even he said what? That’s the worst rated episode ever. She also says he was the nicest guy
The only rewarding bit of the episode is Parker getting smacked in the head by cavewoman Buffy.
2nded for Where The Wild Things Are
I always struggle with Killed by Death. I had a cousin die when she was only 8 so seeing the demon target children in a hospital gets to me.
Seeing Red. It makes my stomach ache.
This is it.
I won't watch the Vineyard raid. Eye stuff, nope.
I cover my eyes every time because eye things freak me to f out!
Eye Scream!
I told you, it’s always a happy ending.
🤣
If I'm on a full rewatch, I don't skip anything. But if I want to watch a random episode one day, I'm never going to pick Seeing Red.
Seeing Red 🤮
I get restless and a bit bored with Ted, but I am a sucker for total and complete rewatching of the complete series. For me it's like a journey and every episode make sense in the continuum Also Beer bad but when she hit Parker on the head I am so delighted. Every time. Boink!

literally explained it so well!
Hush is frakking awesome. It's a credit to the actors being so talented that you can understand everything they're doing or feeling with no voice whatsoever. I loved that part! Especially seeing the looks of utter revulsion on Spike’s, Giles’, and Olivia’s faces 😅😂😂
Yup!! EVERYTIME I feel like a laugh I watch that scene, never fails to amuse me.
i haven’t seen “into the woods” or “as you were” in like 10 years
Usually Wheee the Wild Things Are or Hells Belles.
I'M JACKED IN
Every time I rewatch this episode, my husband groans from wherever he is in the house when he hears this line.
The Body, because it's done very well, to the point that anyone with an even close real life experience is going to be hit hard. Also the musician. I don't like it.
Dead Things. I can't watch that fucking basement scene again.
Me too. I hate this episode.
Empty Places and Dead Man’s Party - I get far too much anxiety watching group onto one person confrontations like that. . Skipping EP also has the knock on effect of skipping Touched because it’s so tied to it, watching the scoobies become emotionless and unempathetic robots for the episode is too frustrating As You Were - a genuinely terrible episode that outside of the final scene is utterly pointless and feels like a weird back door pilot that was clearly never going to happen
Where the wild things are
Hush is a great episode, but I'm usually more listening to a show while I play a game, and there's not so much dialogue 😄 I might play the overhead projector scene and then go on my way.
I Robot, You Jane
I dunno......Alyson Hannigan really brought all the feels when she was dealing with her love of the robot demon....
Oh she was brilliant! More the graphics that have aged 😱
Hell's Bells and As You Were
how can you skip hush! its honestly the episode I show people to get them into buffy lol Your breaking my heart right now
yes i love hush one of my fav episodes felt like a horror movie for me was scary !
I’m a wimp. The gentlemen’s faces terrified me lol
Hush. It terrifies me.
Tabula Rasa.
Ted and the one where Xander leaves Anya at the alter
Season 7
The Body - just hits a little too close to the mark for comfort. One of the greatest episodes of television in any genre no doubt and one that everybody should see at least once but it's definitely one that you need to be prepared for. Not a fun watch at all.
I’m too neurodivergent to skip an episode 😅
I always skip Hell's Bells and Superstar, Hell's Bells is a terrible episode and when Superstar first aired I really didn't enjoy it, I've not been able to shake that dislike since!
oh, I like Superstar. The scoobies are hilarious in it.
Same. Hated it immediately first time I saw it and have never watched again.
Go Fish and that sex episode in season 4 are episodes I usually do not rewatch that often.
Seeing Red
I kinda drift off sometime in the middle of season 6 and then by the time I remember I wanted to watch Buffy it's been long enough I start over from the beginning
The one in s6, where trio enslave and try to rape Katrina. Its just disgusting and I cant watch it. And most of Warren in general. And I have never seen Superstar (? the one where Jonathan is a bigger hero than Bufy).
Ted
I dunno but I just was reminded of the one with the dude popping up holding slices of cheese 😂
Listening to Fear is one of my least favorite episodes along with Where rhe Wild Things are and Beer Bad. And I tend to end season 4 with Primevil. I have no interest in Restless.
I’m looking for a man.. a SALES man!
“You Men with your—**SALES**!”
But..."I wear the cheese. It does not wear me."
I usually skip Same time same place because Gnarl scares me but I watched it this last time. Did fast forward through some of the demon parts though
This is one of my favorite episodes! I love when spike says "button button, who's got the button? My money's on the witch.
It was actually really good! Gnarl just too scary lol
If I'm doing a full rewatch I don't skip no matter how painful I might find the subject matter.
“Some Assembly Required”. That episode never fails to bore me when I try watching it! Consummate filler episode.
The Pack, Beer Bad and Superstar
I've only done 2 rewatches after my first watch through when it was airing. I don't skip any episodes. My most recent rewatch was with my wife and she had never seen it so we watched all of them.
I can't skip any of them. But my wife would skip hush if she could
None. Even the ones that aren't my favorite I Camarillo fi d things I love about them. Performances, quotes, etc
Dead Man’s Party, Where the Wild Things Are, Wild at Heart, The Wish, Ted, Superstar, and Beer Bad I also wasn’t a huge fan of the later seasons, so I don’t think I’ve ever rewatched any of the S7 episodes
It used to be The Pack but I’ve grown to liked it more and more
Definitely "beer bad", it even gives me secondhand embarrassment. I always skip it.
Where the wild things are, go fish, the one where Xander becomes a hyena and eats the school mascot
None. I don't skip episodes on rewatch, even if this means watching things like Beer Bad or Why We Fight or Community seasons 4.
Seeing Red, but honestly I don't like season 6-7, so The Gift is the series finale as far as I'm concerned. I know I'll get crucified for this but it's just my opinion.
Anne. I just hate to have Buffy not in Sunnydale or with her friends and seeing THEM without Buffy is awful, and I cannot stand Joyce this season
Enemies. Not never but rarely. I just find it a little cringey.
Ted, Gingerbread, and Living Conditions
Triangle
I watch every episode, none should be skipped
where the wild things are
I don't think I actually skip episodes of im doing a rewatch 🤔 if anything I skip more episodes from Angel 😅
Unpopular opinion but I usually skip once more with feeling lol
Don’t hate me…Once More with Feeling. Just can’t do it!
Restless. Season 4 ends with the big finish/final showdown with the Big Bad just like every other season.
Superstar and Something Blue
