That’s so funny you say that. We got a kitten 1.5 years ago and my bf said not long after how he forgot how cats are. That he now has a lord above him and treats are his only chance at keeping his land 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it’s so true
I have 2 cats. Quite large ones too. Constantly having to tetris myself around them as to not disturb them. My boy will get huffy but my girl will yell at me. So I don't dare disturb them if I can avoid it

Ah..so sweet. He usually comes back later and sleeps at my feet. Sometimes allowing me room to get in, sometimes laying like a torpedo between my legs. The first thought if I move during the night is "where's the cat.". Lol
My cat does this right on my pillow, often wake up with a sore neck because he only gives me a sliver. Then he also snores in my ear, then if he finally does leave and give me space he leaves a stinky drool wet spot!

When you're ready to go to bed you gently pick him up, apologizing profusely as you do this, and set him at the end of the bed. He will come cuddle up next to you.
If my cat is on my bed, I sleep around him. Last time I napped with one arm outside of blanket, because his Majesty refused to move. 😂 And he is big kitty too, so I need to buy king size bed for us both to fit without bothering each other

Put an afghan at the end of the bed. I've always done that with my cats. And they prefer afghans to comforters.
Hopefully she will move and let you get in bed. She may end up next to you though once you are in bed especially when it's cold out.
Otherwise move her when you need to get in bed.
Just pack your bags and move out. The house (or apartment) is his now.

Just remember, he's really only on that top blanket or coverlet and you can drag that to a more convenient position if you want, like the foot of the bed. Kitty may then relocate, so you have to be quick!
