i think Gallagher did make 2 choices here, first he opted to give a shoulder pat instead of high five, secondly it does seem like he intentionally avoids making eye contact with the kid again after the shoulder pat, he swivels his head 3 times past the kid, to look to his left, then turns back, then to his front, then the kid finally lowers his arm, understanding its not going to happen. but without learning more about Gallagher, i just can't say that its because of racism. its certainly odd though, right now i'm thinking pre-match anxiety, hope im not wrong
