He probably figured it out by putting together all the snippets of conversation they must’ve overheard. The whole team talked about spy stuff at the BuyMore sometimes, even when customers and other employees weren’t too far away. And crap kept happening there.
He was too dumb to notice or pay attention before, but once his mind cleared from not inhaling exhaust fumes every night, he probably started thinking about and remembering all the times weird stuff happened. Then he’d think about small pieces of conversations. Maybe a word here, a sentence there. Five years’ worth.
It’s a minor miracle nobody figured it out sooner.
If you notice in Chuck Versus the Business Trip, Jeff is reading Flowers for Algernon, a short (and great) science fiction story by Daniel Keyes in which a mentally challenged person is turned by a doctor into a super genius who makes all kinds of mental connections. That's what happens to Jeff after Doctor Awesome's intervention. Hence, the connections Jeff is able to make about the spy team.
Oh, okay. Which episode is this from? I have the series on Blu-Ray and I want to see if I can get a clearer screenshot. Streaming services are nice, but they usually can’t compete with physical media when when it comes to quality. Well, as long as we’re comparing physical media of the same resolution to streaming services.

I never read that book. Makes sense now!
A beautiful mind.
It's a bit surprising he remembered anything from before he got straight.
Choirboy on Casey's side 😂
Lmao and just for the record he wasn’t hatched!
I think the hardest I laughed at this show was the first time I saw Casey hit that Hi-C note. I still laugh every time I see it. Hahaha 🤣
It was in the script that's how he knew it all
He spelled “too” wrong. “To hot for Chuck” which honestly seems on brand for Jeff
Where is this screenshot from? Netflix? iTunes? DVD? Blu-Ray?
Amazon

Thanks! Could you help me out just a bit more? Could I trouble you for a timestamp?

I think he somehow got a look behind the torn poster
