I'm pretty sure it was this one, off a spinner rack in Burbank. I was six.

Got this off the rack at a convenience store
The first one I ever bought with my own money was Ghost Rider 15 (1990). I bought it at a 7-11. That cover was the coolest damn thing I had ever seen when I was a kid.

It’s not mint or even great shape, but I remember buying it at Safeway off the rack in Redding California.
1st one I bought never saw the inside of a plastic bag. 25 cents at 7-11 and 35 cent slurpee left me just enough to get a baby Ruth too. Only the comic made it home.
It’s probably in a landfill somewhere, unfortunately. My dream is that it grew into a beautiful tree.
MAUS!
Hulk 180 raw
First comic I remember buying as a kid was ASM 374 like everyone else I loved venom and that cover was sick
Venom lethal protector. I still have my original!
Wish i could go back in time and see what were my first books my great grandma got me. We used to go to the comic shop everytime i saw her
Mate that's why I love comics, I bet you have a ton of good memories, worth more than all the comics in the world.
First comic I bought with my own money? Amazing Spider-Man 360, Feb 1992!
New Mutants 98 8.5 & 9.2 bundle.....sold the 8.5.
Did you regret selling It ?

Jason vs. Leatherface (1 of 3). Got it in a dollar grab bag, read it over and over, and it's still my favorite cover art.

I just sold my 9.6 ghost rider 15 the gold second issue, glowing skull , I bought more comics.
Amazing Spider-Man 346 and/or Transformers 79. Possibly during the same trip to the drugstore after a piano lesson. Spring ‘91. Still have them.

For myself it was ASM 252. Got it back in the 90's for only $10 and still have it to this day
