If this is possible do this! So much easier to clean, no risk of the liner color bleeding into the bag during the wash, can change colors to match your mood or outfit or whatever.
I really love this bag and the colors you used!
Wow. You just unlocked a memory for me. My mom was a professional seamstress and made clothes, hair barrettes, & many other things for me. I remember these purses that she sewed that buttoned onto a set of wooden handles. Iād post a link but I canāt find one thatās not a shop link and donāt want to break rules.
Throw in a small piece of white cotton or color catcher sheets with it to test if the color won't bleed into the white later. Some fabrics do, some not at all.
I would say not the brown. I think white would be easiest, you wouldn't need to worry about getting perfect seams and edges, but I think either blue or pink would pop more. You could be weird and do half of each if you really wanted? Is this a gift or just for you?
I think blue would be a great choice. It pops the most and thereās the added benefit of hiding any stains or marks since itās the darkest of the options.
I say white, the white fabric will show white through the spaces in the crochet so as not to disturb the uniqueness of each cats' color. This is such a cute bunch of kitties, well done!
I love the pink. But as others have mentioned, wash the fabric first.
However, if the fabric can show through the crochet then I would stick with the white.
Blue. It makes it pop more I think. If this were a choice at buying at the store, id buy the blue. I feel it would help contrast the things inside since it's a little more solid and dark.
Either pink or blue would be great. The bag has a vibrant, colorful personality, so the white or beige would look wrong to me. (Plus white would show every speck of dust.)
I personally think the beige is out. As is the blue. On the outside of the bag thereās more blue than pink, so I think on the inside the pink would contrast really nicely. As someone else said though, consider the pink bleeding if you wash it. The white does obviously match however the pink just gives it that little extra! Perhaps a hand wash with water only but Iām sure you know that looking at your skills here!
The pink is adorable but the blue is awesome and blends with many of your squares.
It may show through the stitching, however; could you sew the white and blue together and have the white facing the yarn, blue being the inside color?
This is a great project!
Firstly, I ab6solutely ove your bag, you are so clever.
Secondly, I would go with white, as the bolder colours will show through and detract from those lovely cats.
I like the pink, but I'd probably go white, just in case it needs washing, you don't have to worry about the pink bleeding into the yarn.
Oooh that's smart
Also will be easier to see things inside the bag if white
White is much easier to get dirty as well! I like the blue. Regardless, always prewash all fabrics, and do use a sheet of dye catcher with colors.
I like the blue too
thank you for teaching me that dye catcher sheets exist š¤©
Maybe you can fasten the bags on the inside using buttons and then switch the colors out as you please š
I love this!
Ooh that would be great for easy cleaning too!

recently, iāve been experimenting with sewing little pieces of velcro for a similar reason, but i feel like buttons would be SO much easier omg š
That is a great idea!

My mom made that for me too. I still have it somewhere

Definitely the pink. It's a nice little surprise.
Iām loving the pink.

Blue or pink.
Blue! there are so many shades of it on the outside, it would contrast really well as the lining!
I agree with this. I feel like the blue on the outside popped more with the blue fabric
Pink is perfect
I would say not the brown. I think white would be easiest, you wouldn't need to worry about getting perfect seams and edges, but I think either blue or pink would pop more. You could be weird and do half of each if you really wanted? Is this a gift or just for you?
This is the answer I was looking for! Iād use, at least, two colors on the inside.
I think blue would be a great choice. It pops the most and thereās the added benefit of hiding any stains or marks since itās the darkest of the options.
Blue
The pink!!
My vote is the beige/khaki. It detracts less from the beautiful design and would be easiest to keep clean-looking.
Though choice. Anything but beige
I like the beige ! š„ø

Pink with a blue pocket for little items you donāt want to get lost or damaged in the bottom of the bag.
Blue! And I recommend pre-washing just in case!
Blue or pink
If these were sold on a site, Iād spend all my money on different cat bags.
Oo blue looks gorgeous
I absolutely love the pink color choice.
Blue or pink but blue is the best pop and I'm a major pink fan
Iād go with white so as not to distract from your kitties.
Thatās exactly what I was thinking! I second, third and fourth it! I personally would be worried the inside colour might come through in the gaps.
I think the pink!
Beige
Beige!!

Pink or white!
Pink! i actually reallly liked the beige but i think the pink is a better choice.
Pink!
Really cute. Do you have a pattern?
I like the pink , but going with the white like the other poster said due to washing it is probably the safest option.
White
Pink
Pink! This is so cute.
Iād go with beige. Iādāve said white but it would end up grubby-looking-without-being-grubby inside too fast when used.
Beige is blah š!
Pink all day every day!
Pink!!!
Did you make one of these as a pillow and gift it to a friend? If so, I know you!
Pink or tan
I say white, the white fabric will show white through the spaces in the crochet so as not to disturb the uniqueness of each cats' color. This is such a cute bunch of kitties, well done!

Hey OP, Where can I find this granny square pattern?? I'd love to make some myself
Pink!
Aww the kitties are so adorable .
I think you should do it pink inside with a blue pocket.
White
Pink is cute but I would use white so that it doesnāt show through your beautiful crochet. This is such an adorable pattern!
I like the white. I feel like the color on the inside would take away from the vibrant colors and artistry on the front!
PINK!!
Patchwork it and use them all!
Pinkkkkkk
Go for pink, nothing else hits better to me.
First choice blue. Second choice pink. (Wash first) I love this bag. Bottom left kitty is my favourite!

Either pink or blue would be great. The bag has a vibrant, colorful personality, so the white or beige would look wrong to me. (Plus white would show every speck of dust.)
Im digging the blue š :D
I think all of them would work great! Pink stuck out to me, though.
Blue and I love your bag!
Pinkkkkkk !!!!
White is probably the most practical, but I like the pink!
I personally think the beige is out. As is the blue. On the outside of the bag thereās more blue than pink, so I think on the inside the pink would contrast really nicely. Light blue :)

blue
So hard to choose! I vote the blue or white, but the pink is nice too. Pre-wash the colors though so they donāt bleed!
Pink!
I think that either blue or the white matches it perfectly. I am leaning more towards the blue as a personal preference.
Blue
I like tan or pink. If it was mine Iād ultimately go with the tan fabric. This is so freaking cute btw!!!
The pink looks like a very nice contrast and it gives it a pop of color; just as someone mentioned, wash it first. It looks very pretty! Congrats!
white
Pink!
Blue.
Blue. The inside of my bags seem to get too dirty for white.
Pink!

BLUE! That is such and adorable bag!
Pink.
I say pink!
Blue is my favorite color, but I think pink would be perfect. It's almost like a little kitty ear, pink on the inside.
My first pick was the khaki. But the comments have swayed me to pink.
White or blue
Blue
White or beige , but I think white would look best.
So cute! Pink or blue. Just remember to prewash the fabric.

I think the blue looks nice :)

The blue is really nice against the white. It also compliments all of the other shades of blue and yellow in most of the squares.
Gray
Omg this is adorable!!!
I like white but realize it might be harder to cleanā¦nice job! Itās adorable.
The pink is adorable but the blue is awesome and blends with many of your squares. It may show through the stitching, however; could you sew the white and blue together and have the white facing the yarn, blue being the inside color? This is a great project!

I love this! Do you have a source for the design you can share? My grandmother LOVES cats so something like this would be a great project for her.
Firstly, I ab6solutely ove your bag, you are so clever. Secondly, I would go with white, as the bolder colours will show through and detract from those lovely cats.
